Darien's Room
Darien hey Darien, wake up man.  Serenity is gone just realize that ok?
I know Andrew I know.  I just can't stop thinking about her.  I see her all of
the time in my mind.
Maybe you should go back to a shrink or something.
Andrew, I went to several shrinks.  They didn't help.
How come you were dreaming about Serenity?
Well Sere Rabit ran into a pole and I let some of those feelings get out and I
began to remember Serenity.  Sere looks like Serenity in a way.  Except that 
Serenity does not have pigtails like Sere.
Man you are crazy.  Sere Rabit is hot.  Way hot.  I think I am going to ask her
to the Fall Festival.  Do you think that she will go with me?  And she looks
nothing like Serenity.  Serenity had grace, beauty, charm, a caring boyfriend,
and she was special.  Sere is clumsy, pretty, but not as pretty as your Serenity.
I know Andrew but she reminds me of her.  I am so depressed.  I have to tutor
Sere alone for math and I don't know if I can do it or not.
Bail out on her man.
I already did this morning.  I was supposed to take Sere, Amy and Luna to lunch.
You were going to take that bitch Luna to lunch?  You know she hates your guts,
why even bother asking?
I felt bad.
Oh.  Well I'm hitting the sack I think that you should try to too.  Night Dream
boy.
Oh shut up Andrew.

Sere's Room

I wonder why Darien ditched us on lunch, Luna.
I think he was embarrassed to go with you Serena.  You have a huge knot on your
head.  Hell, I'm embarrassed to say that you're my best friend.
Luna that's not fair.  Leave me alone.
Oh Serena I'm sorry.  I just don't like Darien that's all.  He gives me the
heebie jeebies.
I know me too.  It's like I know him from somewhere.  But I don't remember.  Hey
Luna, why have you been calling me Serena lately?
Well Serena, I feel that I should.  I don't like the way DarienandSere sounds.
What did you say Luna?
I said I don't like the way DrienandSere sounds.  You guys are friends right?
Kind of.  I keep on running into him.  I don't know if he is my friend or not.
Well I think that he likes you.
Luna don't.  I don't like him.  I'm going to bed Luna; I'll talk to you in the
morning.

The Next Day

AHHHHHHH! I'm late!  Dr.  Calhoun is going to fry me!  AHHHHHHH!
Sere, slow down, can I talk to you?
<Oh great it is Darien the Geek; hey he did not call me meatballhead.  Something
must be wrong>.Uh, hi Darien.
Sere I'm sorry I did not take you and your friends to lunch.  
It's ok Darien.
No it isn't.  Let me make it up to you.  Wan go to the Fall Festival with me?  I
wasn't going to ask because I thought you where mad at me about ditching you.
Uh,<Oh no what should I say?  Well it will be nice to go with a guy that's
halfway decent>.  Ok I guess.Ok then, well we will talk about it more at 3 ok?
Ok sure.

<Wow he was in a hurry.  Hey I have a date for the Fall Festival.  Shopping
Spree!!>

Lunch Time

Uh Andrew, where are you going?
I'm going to go and ask Sere to the Fall Festival.
Uh I would not do that.Why?
I uh uh I askedhertothefestival.
You did what?????
I know that you liked her but I like her to.  This is the first girl that I have
liked since Serenity.
Oh, well in that case I won't punch your lights out.  Good going Darien.  I'm
proud that you are moving on a little.

Oh hush Lita, you would say that.  And whom are you going with?
I think that I am going to ask Ken.  I hope that he will go with me.

Yeah that is a great idea Sere.  Thanks, I'm going to go and make some cookies

Let's go shopping.  We need to get new dresses since we are going to the Fall Festival.

Lita look at this dress.  It is so perfect for you.  Hunter green is perfect.
Yeah Sere, I know but I am not sure if I am going or not.
Lita, Ken will definitely go with ya.  Trust me!
Ok what ever you say Sere.  Hey what about this dress?
Oh it's amazing.  White is definitely my color.  Do you think that it is a little low-
cut?  
No not at all, Darien is going to love it.  Hey I have the perfect jewelry.
Really Lita, I can borrow your jewelry?  Oh wow Lita, thanks!!  If I have anything
that you would like to borrow just let me know!
Can I borrow your confidence?
Oh Lita your so funny!!  I know for a fact that Ken will go with you to the Fall
Festival.
Ok thanks Sere!
Come on Lita; let's get our dresses and go!  I have a tutoring session at 3 p.m.

Sere's first tutoring lesson

<I really don't want to be here.  I hope that Darien does not decide to take me
to the Fall Festival cause I can't do any math.  I hope he is not that shallow>.
Hi meatball head, I mean Sere.
Oh hi Darien.  Listen I need to warn you about my math grades and how bad they
really are.
It's ok Sere that's why I am going to help you.
Well, ok, but my grade was a 70 and that was the highest it has ever been.
Well sere, with some work and effort on both of our parts we can make that 70
become a 90.
Ok if you say so, you're not going to not take me to the Fall Festival because
of my grades are you?  <Wow this guy really wants to help me.  Cool>.
Uh Sere, watch where you're walking.  You almost hit another pole, and no, I
want to take you to the Fall Festival!  It would be an honor, no matter the IQ
of my date.
Ok thanks.  
Here we are, study room number 10.

Darien can we take a break?  I think that my head is going to explode.  I just
don't get this stuff.
Ok Sere.  We don't exploded head pieces on the floor!
Real funny, let me tell ya!  So Darien, where are you from?
I'm originally from Japan, but I moved to the US about ten years ago.
Oh wow you're from Japan!  Awesome!  I have always wanted to go there and visit.
Maybe you will one day.  What are you majoring in Sere?
I'm an Education Major and athletics.  I throw discus.
Cool, I 'm an Education major too.  I want to get my doctorate eventually and
teach computers to children.
<Sere's thoughts:  Wow he wants to be a teacher too.  Awesome.  Maybe Darien is not 
that bad.  He reminds me of someone but I can't remember who.  This is to weird.

Uh oh Darien, what?
I was just seeing if you were paying attention.
I was but I was wondering why you ditched us for lunch yesterday.  I was hoping
we could discuss who pushed me.
I was not feeling that great and I went back to my room and fell asleep.  I'm
sorry, I should not have made plans when I was feeling sick.
Oh, I'm sorry.  I hope that you feel better.  How about I bring you some
cupcakes that my friend Lita made me yesterday.  I can't eat all of them.  And even 
if I did I would be sick as a dog.
Ok sure whatever room 540.  I guess come by around 7 ok?
Ok Darien.  <Wow, this is amazing.  The guy is actually into me, but not because
of my brain or looks.  Awesome.>  I think that I have had enough of a break.  Lets
get back to work, I have to go to my friend Lita's to get the cupcakes.
Hey Sere, do you mind if we cut this short?  I'm not feelin to good, I think I
might have caught the flu.
Ok well in that case I'll bring you some chicken soup too.

should get over to Lita's that way I can get Darien's soup and cupcakes ready.>
