I've been a very bad girl. I'm almost finished my story, but I haven't been posting the chapters, as I should. I feel neglectful to all that are reading my story. I guess I owe all of you a great big apology. Sorry!!!!! There, I feel much better. A big thanks goes out to everyone who e-mailed me about my story, especially to Simone. I love all you guys! You really helped me get my story out quicker. I really love to read all of your e-mails! I'd like to dedicate this particular story to my most wonderful and no longer boyfriend, Austin. Did I say no longer boyfriend? Yep, he is now my fiancé® He has been my inspiration, and he loves my story so far. Thank you Austin and I love you. Disclaimer: Sailor Moon is not mine blah blah blah yakity smackity blah blah. David, however, is. Please do not sue me for I don't own very much. Enough with all my babbling and lets get on to the chapter. It is my pleasure to present to all of you: Why Serena Dumped Darien chapter 6 by Empress Earth rated PG. @~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~ Molly and I took a seat under our favorite tree for lunch. We silently sat together, unpacking our lunches, and relaxed. I realized what hard work it was to actually pay attention in class for once in my life. Staying awake during class was even harder. I sighed in relief as my favorite school time activity finally took place. Lunch. Molly looked at me with questions in her eyes. I answered with a shrug. I can't explain why there is another Chiba when there was supposed to be only one. Molly is probably wondering if he and Darien were related in some sort of weird way, but I knew the answer to that one. As far as Darien told me, he had no family. It is funny how things work. I began to slowly eat the tasty homemade lunch my mom packed for me. Yes, this was another trait of the new Serena. The new Serena would be more intelligent, on time, do good in school, and graceful. I would become the princess I was supposed to be. No one would laugh at me anymore saying that I was a stupid, clumsy crybaby. They would be enthralled by the new Serena. They would want to get to know me for who I am and not stereotype me as a stupid crybaby. I suddenly got this tugging feeling inside of my gut. This was a feeling I never knew before, not even for Darien. The feeling was stronger by the second. As I realized that David was standing in front of me--not to mention a whole group of girls tagging along behind him-- the feeling was at it's intensity. "Mind if I join you and Molly for lunch, Serena," he asked. His emerald eyes pleaded with me finally drawing me in. I patted a part of the ground in between Molly and I. "Awe, shucks," the crowd of girls moaned as she took a seat next to my best friend and me. The crowd of girls quickly dispersed. "Thanks," David said as he wiped the sweat of his forehead off with the back of his hand and breathed a sigh of relief. "And I thought pretty girls had it hard with the boys. "So how are you two since I've met you last." "I'm good, but my friend here is having boy problems," Molly said not caring what I felt. "Molly!" I exclaimed as I blushed. This was not the business of a boy who I hardly know. "How could you?" "Well, it is the truth, isn't it?" Molly said playing the innocent little angel. I even thought I saw a halo pop up over her head. "Oh, it's that Darien again," David said nonchalantly. "You still haven't heard from him yet?" "No," I said with anger rising. Every time someone mentions Darien not writing me, I can't help but to become furious at the thought. "Like I said, he is stupid to tread such a beautiful lady in that manner," David said gazing into my eyes again. I blush and look down at my food, hoping he would turn his gaze away from me. There was an awkward silence for a couple of moments. I racked my brain for something to say, but I got nothing. I still felt his heated stare even thought I looked away from him. Like a magnetic pull, my eyes were eventually stuck to his again. This time, I couldn't pull away. "Hey, why don't we meet at your house this Friday and watch a movie or something?" Molly asked trying to break the silence. I snapped back into reality and began to blush again. "I guess so," I said staring at my feet feeling embarrassed. I just can't get over how beautiful the boy sitting next to me is. "I think that is a great idea," David chimed in. "Anything to get to know you two better." Oh boy, I thought to myself. What am I getting myself into now? @~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~ Gee, what a lame cliffhanger. Oh well, I couldn't think of anything better to end the chapter with.
