	Serena walked to the apartment in sweet solitude.  
Her heart throbbed as she thought of Darien.  How much it 
hurt knowing that each and every word that she had just 
said was true.  How she lied to her heart so much!  After 
all these years, memories that she locked away had once 
again flooded her mind.  Memories of years ago... and 
memories of another life.  Each memory made her long more 
for him.

	"Tell me Serena, how come you left?  How come you 
left me when I really needed you?"  A voice said behind 
her.  Serena turned around to see Lita.  Her brown hair put 
up in her long ponytail, her haunting green eyes glazed at 
her old friend.  "You left because of him.  Yes, I know 
what happened.  I hated him for hurting you so much for 
doing that.  To hurt you!  I can't see why he would do 
something so cruel and indecent!  I don't know how he could 
do this to you!!  I wanted to kill him!  To hurt him so 
much."  She paused for a second, then continued on.  "But 
then, I remember long ago...  I don't remember if it was 
this life, or before, but I promised, to you, that I would 
never ever do anything to hurt him if he did hurt you.  And 
I fulfilled that promise."

	"I thank you for doing that Lita."  Serena said, 
barley a whisper as she talked, not trying to let her hear 
her voice breaking.  As she looked the brunette, whom eyes 
were filled with so much emotions as she tried to hid her 
emotions back, not wanting her friend to see the lust and 
gratefulness in them.  

	"Yet, it doesn't matter to me if you do anything to 
him.  I don't care about him anymore.  I don't care if hurt 
comes upon him."  'Liar.'  A voice sneered at her.  'You 
know that is a big lie.  Just like the lie you tell your 
heart. You can trick your mind, but your heart will 
continue to love...'

	As if reading her mind, Lita said, "Liar!" then 
continued, "Serena, knowing you, you still care for him.  
You care for him so much.  I know that is true."  An eerie 
pause became between them as Serena absorbed the truth...  
She did still loved him so much that it hurt her so much 
just to think about him.

	"How about you come to my apartment and talk with me. 
We have a lot to catch up on.  I'll even make you some 
food."  Serena was about to refuse the offer, but when she 
looked into Lita's eyes, she say how her eyes pleaded to 
her wishing she wanted her to say yes.

	"Okay, I'll go..." Lita grinned as she and her friend 
walked towards her apartment, as silence was between them, 
as they wondered what were they were going to say.

	Raye looked at the sacred flame.  A blank look was on 
her face.  She was far off, away from this world.  Her mind 
was elsewhere.  Serena was back!  She thought happily.  But 
Raye's heart was suddenly full of questions.  She didn't 
know if Serena would forgive her for being so mean to her 
in the past, if she would still be her friend...

	"Raye!  You are so mean!!"  Serena's whining voice 
complained to her friend as she bickered at her once more.  
She never thought it was offensive to her, she thought that 
Serena wouldn't do anything except bicker back.  She didn't 
think that Serena would get hurt about it.  She didn't 
think that Serena would do anything drastic about it.

	"But it isn't your fault."  A voice in her head told 
her.  "It is that damn Darien's fault.  He was the one that 
hurt her...  He was the one to cause her to run away."  But 
if he was the cause, then why did she still feel so damn 
guilty?! The guilt had bugged her every day for the past 
three years.


	Her thoughts then went off Serena and onto someone 
else...  Jedite...  She remembered...  She remembered so 
much.  She remembered how  she fell in love with him on the 
moon... how blissful that feeling was.  How she went to 
sleep crying to think that her love had come back from  the 
negiverse, to kill her once more.  When he was working at 
the temple  again, she could feel such a strong tie with 
him...   

	It hurt so much... wondering how could she live with 
all this  pain that he brought to her heart...  She 
wondered all that.  But now, he  was back.  Her heart 
screamed his name over and over in her mind, falling  in 
love with him once more.  

	She never did get over him, when she was with Darien 
for a short period of time.  She always felt as if it 
wasn't really right that she belonged in someone else's 
arms.  She remembered Chad, whom hoped he would be able to, 
yet he wasn't able to get her was she really to love him 
destined to be with him?

	How she could fall in love with him so much, she did 
not know.  What she did know that was that she was mad for 
him...  She just hoped  that he doesn't break her heart 
again. No...it would be unbearable!

	"I must be in heaven."  Amy thought.  Her heart 
soared as she  seen Zoycite... or Zach.  She remembered 
talking to him after the battle,  hand in hand, how 
blissful it was.  He had walked her home (naturally, they 
took the long way, LoL).  Their deep conversations, and how 
they talked with each other the whole night, finding out 
they had so much in common. 

	She could feel her heart thump fast at the sight of 
him.  She wondered if this was love.  She remembered when 
she felt this way to him in the Silver Millennium.  It felt 
so good to be in love.  She never actually went out with a 
lot of people...  She had been out with Greg for sometime, 
yet it never felt like the way she felt for Zoycite.  He 
was so nice and perfect...  And hers!!

	His eyes were deep and cool, so calming for a person 
to look at.  He had the sweetest smile that never ceases to 
make her melt inside.  His voice was rich and deep, yet 
never cold or cruel...  Except when he was in the 
Negaverse...

	But it didn't matter because he isn't in the 
Negaverse anymore, he was here with her.  And suppose to 
live happily ever after with her... Wasn't he?  Yes, he 
was.  'Stop doubting yourself Amy, he is great.  And he 
would never hurt you.  Remember, when he did last time, he 
was under the influence of Queen Beryl... But now he 
isn't.'  A voice in her directed, she nodded to herself and 
let out a smile.

	She couldn't wait to see him again.

	And there was Serena... Her smile saddened when she 
thought of Serena.  Did she not want to be their friend 
anymore?  How come she had acted so differently than she 
would have years before. 

	She hoped that Serena could forgive her... She could 
forgive her... She never meant to bicker to her about her 
grades, she only wanted her to do well, not run away from 
them.

	It hurted her to know that she was one of the people 
that hurt her, to push her away, causing her to run away.  
She knew that the guilt inside her still remained, only 
hoped to be eased away with a nod from her friend, or 
something to tell her that she had been forgiveness.  

	"Forgive me princess, forgive me for what I had put 
you through..." Amy said, her eyes filled with tears that 
shed for a friendship she wish to gained again.  Would 
there ever be a day in her life that the guilt would ever 
go away?

	She was getting an awful headache for thinking about 
everything. The princess had finally appeared back.  Yet it 
seemed as if she didn't want to talk to them, even though 
there is so much she needed to tell her, yet never got the 
chance.  It hurted top know that she head helped cause her 
friend to leave.  She didn't fend her best friend from 
those bitter words... heck!  She had said some of them too!

	"Tell me Mina, would life just be better if I wasn't 
in it?"  She could recall Serena's voice asked, as her 
friend looked at the lake, which glittered and sparkled 
before them.  

	"What do you mean?"  She had replied, uncertain on 
what to say.  "Come on Serena, why would you say such a 
thing?"  She had asked, as she looked at the blond.

	"With me in this world, I had brought pain and hurt 
to my friends. I have no one to love.  No one to love me.  
What is the real use of living in a world where I have no 
one?" Mina opened her mouth, then closed it, unsure of what 
to say as Serena smiled triumphantly, knowing what she just 
said was the truth.
	
	Malacite.  She still didn't trust him.  He talks 
about being her soul mate, yet she begged to differ.  She 
remembered the times they were together long ago in the 
Silver Millennium, yet she let him go. Forgot about him 
when he stabbed her in the heart.  She didn't care that he 
was possessed.  All she knew was that her love slew her. 
And for that, he lost her... for good.  Not only was his 
act unforgivable, yet he scared her...  He brought so much 
pain to her as she remembered how he had smiled at the 
sight of her dying.  He was mocking her, forever falling in 
love with him...  And she didn't want to do that same 
mistake because the wounds were re-opened of he struck 
again. Malachite...  A named that she wished never to hear 
of again 

	"Did I ever tell you that your hair looks beautiful 
that way Mina?"  Malachite asked, as she smiled at him.  
Her hair was held up with a red ribbon, as she wore a 
orange dress.  He escorted her to the ball, not letting his 
eyes off of her.  Her face had turned a deep red.

	The memory played before her as she touched the red 
ribbon in her hair.  Her eyes fell to the ground.  She 
knew, that even though his heart forbid it, she was still 
in love with him... How displeasing it was.  

	When she arrived at the door of Darien's apartment, 
she opened it cautiously. Rini had called her telling her 
that Darien was hurt.  So here she was, prepared to help 
anyone who was sick, besides it beat moping about Malachite 
at home. 

	"Darien!  How are you doing?  Sailor V is here to the 
rescue!"  Mina exclaimed to in the house.  Rini then ran to 
where Mina was, and grabbed her hand.   

	"Mina!  Darien got hit by this Negaverse monster, and 
then he went unconscious, and then Serena brought him 
here..."  Rini started out, as Mina's eyes widen.

	"Serena?!"  She asked curiously (more like screamed). 

	"Serena brought him to the apartment, and took care 
of him last night, but then she had to leave."  Rini said, 
full of sorrow.  Mina's face mirrored Rini's.  

	"Princess..."  Mina whispered, and then let out a 
deep breath. "So, how's the patient now?"  Rini then 
grabbed Mina's hand and dragged her into Darien's room, and 
they began taking care of him... Mina-style.

	"Umm... you still bake the best cookies Lita."  
Serena said, as she bit into one.  Instead of inhaling the 
cookies as she would have years ago, she ate it slowly, and 
savored each bite.  "Ever open a restaurant like you wanted 
to?"

	Lita shook her head no.  "Never had someone next to 
me rooting me like you did before, complimenting me, 
telling me I had a talent." She said, she sat down and ate 
a cookie herself.  Serena swallowed, and then spoke up.

	"I know you must still hate me for that, but it hurt 
to stay.   never thought anyone would miss me... they 
didn't seem appreciated me in the first place."  She 
croaked out, as she took a bite of another cookie.  "They 
were just too busy complaining and yelling about all the 
mistakes I made and what a failure I was."

	"Serena... I loved you like a sister.  I would have 
never dared to hurt you...  I just missed you so much.  I 
did less cooking because it reminded me so much of you.  I 
remember once you encouraged me much to make a restaurant 
when I got older.  You thought of everything for me; all my 
dreams, you made them for me.  You thought of a name for 
the restaurant too:  Jupiter's Moon...  You thought of what 
I should serve: even though that list was just filled with 
snacks and deserts, and you also thought of all these cool 
things I could do with the decor of the restaurant. Like an 
indoor waterfall or something.  I missed you...  wonder 
what that restaurant would look like now, thinking of how 
you would wanted in it.  It hurt so much Serena."  She 
said, feeling tears in her eyes.  

	"Lita, I missed you too.  I always wondered how you 
were doing.... were you still the same great person you 
were years ago?"  Serena spoke up, her voice tight.  "I 
wondered if Amy did anything else than study... I wondered 
how Raye was doing, hoping that she didn't blame herself.  
I wondered if Mina had lost that enthusiasm that made her 
just lovable and caring."  

	"Serena, I missed you so much.  Don't you dare leave 
me again like that.  For if you do, I will hunt you down 
like a dog, and drag you back!"  She growled at her friend, 
causing Serena to be consumed with a fit of giggles.  
"Well, that sound pleasing..." 

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*	

	"Hello, hello, hello, I'm back!"  Serena exclaimed, 
as she entered her hotel room, knowing that for sure the 
guys would be in there.  And as she presumed, they were.  
She looked at their faces.  Jed shot her a warning look, 
telling her to be prepared, as Nate just shook his head.  
Zach just smiled at her, happy to see her, as Matt...

	She knew what was going to come to her from Matt.  He 
was going to lecture her about how something could have 
happened, that she had gotten him all worried and 
everything.  She wondered why he was so uptight about 
everything she done.  He was just so over protective of 
her. If she had known any better, she would have swear that 
he was her brother, but that was highly unlikely because h...

	"SERENA!  Where were you!  We were all worried!"  
Matt exclaimed at her.  She sighed as she was still wearing 
the dress from yesterday, which made some eyebrows raise.  
She flopped on the bed with a smile. 

	"Well, I was talking to my friend...  Hey, anyone 
want a cookie?  I have plenty!"  She then brought out a bag 
full of cookies, which Lita insisted she take.  And well, 
she could never argue with Lita.  Jed took one, so did Nate 
and Zach as Matt just looked at her strictly.  

	"These are good!"  Nate exclaimed.  Serena smiled at 
him.  "Of course they are.... Lita made them!"  Serena 
said, helping herself one.  Nate looked at her surprised to 
hear Lita's name as he grabbed another cookie, savoring 
each bite of the cookie that his love had made.  "Ohh Matt, 
stop looking at me that way.  I can take care of myself!  
Please, it's not as if I'm irresponsible."  She told him, 
then grabbing another cookie and beaming at him.  

	"But Sere, I just don't want anything to happen to 
you..."  He said, his eyes soft.  She let out a sigh.  
"Come one Matt... I'm not going for that.  You use that one 
me too many times!" 

	"Well, you been out the whole night.. and I was 
wondering... You and he didn't...  You know?"  Matt said, 
slightly embarrassed an eerie silence filled the room as 
Zach just shook his head as Serena's eyes widen in 
disbelief.

	"WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU THINKING!! ME?  HAVE SEX 
ON THE FIRST DATE!!  I'M SMARTER THAN THAT!!  AKKK!!!"  She 
exclaimed at him, as he turned red.  

	"Malacite!  Don't you ever!! Ahhh!!!  For your 
information, our date was cut short thanks to this lady who 
hurted Dar... innocent people.  And I trash her, and then I 
met Lita, whom I spent the night with."  She said, fibbing 
a little.  It was the truth, well, at least up to the 
innocent part...

	"Ohh... okay..."  Matt said, sorta red, yet was 
relieved.

	"So, how about checking out now?  I got us a house 
now Rena."  Nate told Serena who beamed, forgetting what 
had just occurred right away.  "Really!!  Wicked!  I'll 
start packing!"

	Serena headed down empty handedly, as Matt had 
insisted on holding her suitcase.  She let him, as she 
lagged behind them, as they went in the elevator.  She 
decided to go down the stairs.  On her way down, she met 
Demando.   

	"Usa!"  He exclaimed, and beamed at her.  "How is 
everything going?  Where are you going?"  He asked.  She 
felt herself feel guilty for ruining their date. 

	"Well, we are checking out, me and my friends.  We 
found ourselves a house."  She saw the look of 
disappointment in his eyes.  "Demando, so, you want to go 
out sometime later on?"  She asked, he nodded with a smile.  
"How about tomorrow, I'll meet you at the Moonlight Parlor. 
We'll go out for ice cream!"  She said.  

	"Yes, let's."  She then hugged him, also giving him a 
quick peck on the lips.  "I'll see you Demando."  She 
giggled, and continued to walk down the stairs as he stared 
after her, feeling on top of the world with his thoughts 
only about her for the rest of the day.

	"Darien, how are you feeling?" Mina said concerned as 
she neared his bed. 

	"I've been better... Where's Rini? Is she okay?" He 
asked worriedly. Suddenly small hands grasped his larger 
ones and Rini assured him, "I'm fine... Dad... umm...  
Darien." 'He's my daddy! How come I didn't see it sooner?! 
He looks just like my him... and he loves roses, just like 
daddy!'

	"Okay Rini, why don't you come into the kitchen and 
we'll make him some of my famous home-made soup!" Mina 
gushed enthusiastically dragging Rini out of the room with 
her. He visibly cringed at the thought of that, he 
remembered Serena complaining about Mina's cooking 
abilities, and he did not want to be a the hapless 
connoisseur of Mina's food.

	'Serena...' Darien thought almost automatically. He 
thought all day and all night about her, so this was 
nothing unusual, but Darien felt a sense of loss. Like he 
lost contact with something, or someone while he was 
unconscious. The feeling that Serena was near him, then she 
suddenly left. 'Hmmm... Wait a minute! Who brought me 
home?! Last thing I remember was walking with Rini to go 
out for ice cream, then... then.. we saw Serena with 
another guy...' his heart broke at the memory but 
continued, 'and then Katherine came and tried to bring me 
to the dark side... again!' he exasperatedly sighed. 'How 
many times are they going to attempt to "fill me with 
darkness"?! They've done enough damage already... whatever 
they do... whatever I do.. I end up hurting Serena 
somehow!' 

	"Darn!  It seems as if you don't have any 
strawberries for the soup... not even any ketchup... ohhh!! And 
no marshmallows!!"  Mina's faint voice could be heard from 
the kitchen as changing noises followed it.  Darien was 
almost afraid to know what was happening.

	He gave a tired sigh and began again pondering on who 
had brought him home. He was sure he did not... since he 
was out cold... and neither did Rini. (for very obvious 
reasons!) 'Hmmm... maybe Mina will know....' He idly 
pondered as he ventured into his kitchen, where 
preparations were made for that anticipated soup. 

	"Mina." He called into the room. She apparently did 
not hear him for she was busy reading the instruction for 
the packaged soup that she found in one of Darien's 
cupboards since she didn't find the ingredients for her 
soup. 

(Usa-chan: Lucky for him...)

	Rini stood at one side of the kitchen watching the 
blond move about, and make a big mess... bigger than the one 
Serena made when she was making curry.  The pots were 
scattered on the ground as water was splashed everywhere.  
A box of ice cream sat on the counter, slowly melting as 
the pink haired girl pondered what ice cream had to do with 
soup... or even ketchup, marshmallows, and even strawberries!

	"Hmmm... four cups boiling water... check... drop 
noodles in... in what? Drop the noodles in what?! ARGH! why 
don't they write better instructions?! okay... we'll skip 
that part... hmmm.. what next" Mina wondered out loud, too 
preoccupied with her cooking project to notice that the 
water was boiling already and boiling out of control. "It 
says, choose beef or chicken flavor, open packet of 
flavoring and empty into pot." She looked around the 
counter and on the floor, but to no avail, no packets 
appeared. "Where are those packets?! ARGH!"

	Since he did not get her attention the first time, he 
called her name louder. "MINA!" At that, she jumped up 
three feet in the air, and practically threw the package of 
dried noodles upwards so that all the contents spilled out 
including the packets of flavoring. Just then smoke came 
from the burnt boiling water and the smoke alarm went off 
due to the large amounts of smoke in the room from the 
burnt water.

	"Mina... you looking for this..." Rini added in, 
holding up two packets of flavoring to a blushing and very 
embarrassed Mina who snatched them quickly, only to slip 
and fall due to the water that was on the ground.  She 
quickly scrambled up.

	Darien looked at the sight ahead of him: there was 
tremendous smoke coming from his stove, boiling water all 
over the place, which apparently had been burnt. 'I didn't 
know it was possible to burn water...' he thought to 
himself. a very quiet Rini sitting at the table with dried 
noodles in her hair, and a very embarrassed Mina standing 
in front of him shyly holding up both packets of flavoring 
asking, "Chicken or Beef?" 

	'This is gonna be a long day.'

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*

	"DEMANDO!" Wiseman nearly screamed at the preoccupied 
man sitting before him.  This quickly snapped Demando out 
of his thoughts, which were about Serena, as always.

	"Yes Wiseman... what is it!?" he snapped 
exasperatedly.

	"We were discussing our next plan of attack. We have 
to destroy that Moonlight Maiden and her guardians. They 
are very powerful and strong... perhaps we could fill the 
four generals with our darkness. With their strength, we 
will have enough energy to... to take over Crystal Tokyo in 
the  future." Wiseman suggested.

	"Yes... Emerald shall head this mission. Tell her it 
is her last chance to make up for that attack in front of 
one of my buildings!" Demando said authoritatively as he 
dismissed the Wiseman out of the room, his thoughts 
floating back to Serena as he silently sipped his glass of 
white wine.

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*
 
	The generals carefully sat down on the leather sofa 
located in the living room of their new two-story house. 
They had just arrived at the place, and wanted to rest, 
while Serena yelled at the top of her lungs: "I get dibs on 
the rooms!" Then Jed realized this and yelled: "Hold up, 
Sere! Wait for me! I want a good room too!" he said as he 
scrambles up the stairs  after Serena. Catching Serena by 
the foot, he attempted to slow her down by gently tugging 
on her foot so that he could get ahead of her. But to no 
avail, she was stronger than she looked, and she managed to 
reach the top of the stairs with him dangling at her feet.

	The other generals amusedly looked at the two. "They 
look almost act  like they brother and sister," Zach said. 
They all knew that the two were close, in fact, they were 
exactly alike. They were  both immature at times and liked 
to play a lot of practical jokes on each other,  but mostly 
on the other generals: especially Nate.  But that was 
mostly Jed, Serena would mostly be out in space. 

	Since they were somewhat too busy to be packing and 
buying new furniture, the house already came with the 
furniture. The three generals turned on the TV and began to 
watch, only looking up from time to time at the strange 
thumping and banging noises coming from upstairs. (don't 
get any hentai thoughts out there!) They raise their eye-
brows as Nate headed upstairs not wanting to miss a moment.  

	"Ha ha! I called dibs on this room first!" Sere 
called. 

]	"No! I did! Serenaaaaa!" Jed began to whine. 
"C'mon... don't you want the other room? It is nicer.... 
and pinker..."

	"If you think it's so nice.. how come you don't have 
it as your room?!" Serena countered, her eyes widen with 
mischief.

	"No... but... man!" Jed said dejectedly, "So much for 
reverse psychology!"

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*	

	The Wiseman appeared to Emerald and said, "Go and 
attack some people. Lure the Moonlight Maiden's generals 
and bring them over to the dark side.... A warning: this is 
your last chance... fail and you shall not have another 
chance." With that the Wiseman disappeared, leaving a very 
nervous and frightened Emerald.

	"Oh no... I must do this myself then, no youmas 
because they might fail and I can't take that chance with 
my life... I have to prepare... hmm... how many youmas 
should I bring along just in case?" Emerald pondered as she 
began to prepare for the kidnapping of the four generals.

	Meanwhile, the other scouts were sitting in Raye's 
temple for a scout meeting. They wanted to discuss a few 
things concerning Emerald, the generals, and Serena. Mina 
had called them from Darien's apartment and told them all 
what had happened to him; someone named Kat had attacked 
Darien, and  how Serena took care of him after his 
attacked.

	Now only three of the scouts were sitting around the 
sacred fire. "I talked to her this morning." Lita offered 
as a piece of information to the  present members of the 
scouts, still to his unknowing.

	"What?! AND?! What did she say? What did you talk 
about?" Raye began asking hysterically, some part deep 
inside of her was excited about it, and wonder if she had 
forgave her yet...

	"Raye! Calm down! Let Lita explain!" Amy hollered 
above Raye's rising tone, which was apparently curious 
about it, so it quieted down somewhat.

	"Okay... well she told me that she all thought about 
us and that she missed us a lot." Lita said calmly, not 
wishing to tell the others about their conversation about 
her restaurant and other personal issues that they 
discussed over the cookies that she baked.  It was 
something that was suppose to be kept between just the two.

	"That's it?! That was all she said: 'I missed you 
guys.' " attempting to imitate Serena in  her voice. "Why 
that little..." Yet inside of her she could feel herself 
become relieved that Serena had missed them, only she 
showed the opposite feelings.  

	"Raye! She's had a hard time... give her a break 
okay? I mean she's been through a lot..." Amy reasoned, "We 
had each other to turn to when we needed comfort, yet she 
had no one. She depended on herself for survival." Raye 
looked at the genius and sighed, "I know... I've just been 
worried about her."

	"We've all been worried about her..." Lita said, "but 
now we just gotta give her some space, she'll come around 
to us when she's ready." 'Yet I do hope it's soon...'

	"Okay... Alright... I guess you guys are right.." 
Raye said reluctantly. 

	"Now about this new enemy... Emerald... what do we 
know about her?" Amy began analyzing the information that 
they had on the Dark Moon family.

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*

	The guys had wanted to go to this fancy restaurant 
where they served nothing but the finest, but Serena didn't 
feel like dressing up, so pizza was dinner. After their 
quite delicious meal, they all decided to go to a carnival 
that was open during that time in the evening. Serena was 
just inhaling her tenth cotton candy, when she caught sight 
of a Ferris wheel ride. 

	"Ohhhh!" she squealed "I wanna ride the Ferris wheel! 
Please? Oh pretty please?" She pulled on Matt's arm, while 
the others were playing games. Jed and Nate were in a 
fierce competition in the ring toss booth, while Zach 
decided to play the game as well for the heck of it. 

	"He he he! See Nate.. I'm gonna beat you... I am the 
master of the ring toss... beware my wrath." Jed said 
threateningly.

	"Ha ha! don't make me laugh! Just like the wrath you 
showed Serena when she wouldn't let you have the room you 
wanted?!" Nate got on his knees, imitating Jed when he was 
pleading with Serena, "'Please Sere? Pretty Please? Did I 
ever tell you, that you are the most beautiful woman on 
this earth?!' and then Serena threatened  to tell Raye 
about that little comment and you keeled over.  And what 
was that something you said about on the moon you had 
helped her coax with something..."   Serena's eyes glanced at 
Jed that moment, as he looked at her a soft smile as she 
nodded to him.

	Suddenly the vendor of the ring toss booth yelled 
out, "And we have a winner! Sir, choose your prize." Both 
Jed and Nate looked at the man and their jaws dropped on 
the floor when they realized just who it was: "ZACH?!?" 
they cried out in union. Zach merely just ignored them and 
chose a large stuffed doll of Sailor Mercury. (AN: he he 
he. I wonder why!) "Hmmm.. I think Amy will like this.. 
don't you think?" He asked the two calmly, whom just gaped 
at him.

	Jed and Nate looked at the bottles that Zach had 
tossed the rings on, he had gotten ring on the bottles, not 
missing one! Then they both sweat dropped and keeled over. 
They pulled a double *Thank* on Zach as he kneeled next to 
them trying to revive them. 

	 Next to the Ferris wheel, Sere continued her 
campaigning for her cause, "Please, Matt... Ferris wheel.. 
fun.. can we go? Pretty please.. with cherry on top?" Sere 
said with her puppy dog eyes. " and sprinkles too."

	"Oh, alright, Sere....I could never say no to you!" 
Matt said as he was all of a sudden dragged into one of the 
baskets. They got to the top and Serena was on top of the 
world, literally, and she was just as hyper from the cotton 
candies. She began swaying the basket excitedly, pointing 
at the different things that she could see from their 
vintage point. 

	"Look.. I can see Tokyo Tower from here! Wow.. it 
looks beautiful! Oh, and I can see the park too..." she 
gushed excitedly as she began whipping her head around 
looking at the places that she was familiar with. 

	In the seat next to her, Matt was getting extremely 
sick, especially with Sere moving the basket so much. 
"Sere... Sere... umm... could you stop moving so much... I 
think I'm gonna...." he quickly covered his mouth, but 
luckily it was a false alarm.

	Serena had begun to calm down, since the effects of 
the sugar only lasted so long, she stared out at the moon. 
She thought about her life before, and wondered if it was a 
mistake when she ran away... 

	""Darien, isn't this lovely?"  Serena asked, her 
love, as they rode the Ferris Wheel in the starry night 
together.  He embraced her tightly and kiss her forehead.  

	"Yes, but what makes it this lovely is having you 
next to me."  He said as she turned a red color and as she 
went deeper into his embrace, not ever wanting to get out 
from this position.  

	Her thoughts did not get far, for in front of the 
moon, a dark vortex appeared and out of it came Emerald and 
about two dozen youma. 

	Sere gasped and turned to Matt who had his eyes 
closed since he was not feeling all too well. Just as she 
was about to stir Matt from his world of nausea, one of the 
youmas grabbed her and began to swiftly drain her energy. 
at the order of Emerald because she seemed like she 
possessed a lot of energy and she was the closest to them 
for the Ferris wheel coordinator had stopped their basket 
at the top.

	She let out a blood curdling scream and in an instant 
Matt snapped his eyes open to find that Serena was not in 
the seat next to him, but in the clutches of an ugly 
looking youma who was draining her energy. With one action, 
the communication devices quickly appeared on his head and 
he summoned the rest of the generals, whom Zach had 
successfully revived, with no permanent damage; well none 
that was visible anyway.... 

	Matt quickly jumped down from the Ferris wheel basket 
and went someplace safe to transform. Since the people at 
the carnival already took notice of the army of youmas in 
the air, they began to look up and they were spellbound. 
With their attention to the youmas, it was quite easy to 
find a secret place to transform. 

	The youma holding Sere was extremely ugly, not that 
the others looked any better, but if some monster was 
holding you by the throat and draining your energy, do you 
think that you'd have time to decide for yourself of which 
of the youmas was the ugliest?! Even with her consciousness 
fading now and then, she still was able to hear Matt's 
clear voice shout out an attack at the youma next to her 
captured and then he threatened, "Let her go... you brain-
dead imbecile or you'll be history!" 


	With all her strength, which was not a lot, she 
managed to kick the youma in the stomach, which caused it 
to double over in pain, but not before it dropped her, 
ceasing its energy drain. She fell, knowing at such an 
altitude that she would not be a very happy person in the 
morning. But unbeknownst to her, Matt saw this and quickly 
caught her in his arms.

	"Serena?! Are you okay?! Oh my God!" Matt exclaimed 
hysterically. "Please be okay... Please.. we need you!" 

	Then Serena opened her eyelids a little bit and 
managed to squeak out, "Don't worry about me, Matt. Takes 
more than a little energy drain and a twenty-foot drop to 
get rid of me... It's a good thing I ate all those cotton 
candies... or else I'd be out cold by now....  Speaking of 
cotton candy..." She said good-naturedly. 

	Matt smiled at this and said, "After this, remind me 
never to chew you out when you eat so much...." Then he 
added seriously, "Look, I have to..."

	"Go.. I know.. help out the others! Why are you here 
you big lug! I don't need any more saving... I'm fine.. 
just a little tired... nothing a good night's rest won't 
cure. Now go and help the others... Malachite." With that, 
he gently kissed her forehead and lay her down where she 
was safe from harm on a bed of stuffed animals in the ring 
tosses booth, behind the counter. 	

	When he got to the scene with the army of youmas, the 
others had arrived about the same time he did. There was 
panic everywhere, people were everywhere trying to escape 
the horrible demons that were draining the innocent 
people's energy.  

	*"Okay you guys" Malachite said over the 
communicators, "Time to get their attention."* "White 
Falcon Strike!" Malachite yelled out loud and aimed it at 
two youmas who were merely stung by the energy, but not 
destroyed.

	*"What?! Why didn't it die?!* Jed yelled over the 
mouthpiece.

	*"A little louder, Jedite, I don't think they heard 
you in Australia!" Nephlite countered hotly.

	*"Guys, calm down. I believe that these are stronger 
youmas charged specially for this battle. This is gonna be 
a long haul you guys... watch your backs."* Zoicite warned 
them. 

	With the attention-getter attack made by Malachite, 
the youmas dropped the humans whom they were draining and 
began to make the first offensive move toward the targets: 
the generals.

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*

	At Darien's apartment, Darien was busily cleaning the 
mess that was supposed to be his soup, while Mina and Rini 
were sitting down on the couch happily chatting and 
watching "Smurfs."

	"Watch out Smurfette! The evil man is right behind 
you! He wants to eat you.. and... oh... too late! See I 
told you to not go there! Now see... he is going to cook 
you in his soup!"

	Darien looked up from his place on the floor toward 
the couch that the two were sitting on. 'That remark 
sounded strangely like Mina, but I know that Rini said it, 
not...' he trailed off and sweat dropped as he looked on a 
very tense Mina, not Rini. (Rini was looking just as wide-
eyed as he was at the vivacious young blond), who was 
literally sitting at the edge of her seat at the cartoon 
that was taking place on the television set.

	"Yay! Smurfette got away, and spilled his soup too, 
so that he can't cook anymore Smurfs... ha ha ha ha!" Mina 
began laughing uncontrollably at the sight of the evil, 
carnivorous man who was busy cleaning his soup on the 
floor. He remembered a time, when Serena was gushing 
excitedly and was getting really into a cartoon it was 
cute, but when Mina did it, it was just annoying.

	Darien, back on the floor, sadly began to sympathize 
with the old man, 'I can relate, man... but what did I do 
to deserve this?! I didn't attempt to nor do I want to eat 
any Smurfs!' 

	'Yeah, all you did was break your true love's heart!' 
a voice inside him challenged him. Darien was about to 
counter the voice, but he got a sharp pain in his neck and 
began to choke... "Serena..." he gasped out.  His heart 
beated faster.

	In moments, Mina and Rini were at his side. He was 
holding his throat and Making gagging noises, like he 
couldn't breathe. "Serena... she's... in.. danger...." he 
rasped.

	"SERENA?! Darien where? How do you know?" Mina began 
shaking him trying to get an answer from him, but he could 
not talk anymore. Suddenly, the TV screen showed a very 
frightened reporter on the screen, "We interrupt the 
regularly scheduled programming to bring you this special 
news report: about two dozen youma have been spotted at the 
carnival this evening and they attacked many people. The 
first victim was this young blond, with a strange hair 
style, the condition of this poor girl is yet unknown, 
actually her location is unknown as well... it seemed as if 
she just vanished..."

	"Serena..." Mina and Rini whispered worriedly and the 
report  continued, "There have been no other reports of any 
serious injuries or other victims. Four men are on the 
scene battling it out with the youmas, but it does not look 
good for them."

	"Malachite..." Mina whispered angrily, her smile had 
disappeared as she felt an anguish amount of hate for him.  

	Then, as quickly as it came, the pain in his throat 
disappeared. "Mina...transform now!" He said coldly as he 
pulled out a rose and began the transformation himself.

	"Venus Star Power!" 

	In a few moments, Sailor Venus and Tuxedo Mask stood 
in Darien's living room. "Rini stay here." Tuxedo Mask 
commanded. 

	But Rini was just as worried about Serena as they 
were and was not about to stay here, knowing what happened 
to her... to her mother. "NO! I can't just sit here while 
Serena is out there possibly fighting for her life! I'm 
coming with you!" She said resolutely, but then softened, 
"Please.. I won't get in your way.. PROMISE!" Darien wanted 
to argue with her that it would be dangerous, but there was 
no time, so reluctantly, he pulled Rini into his arms and 
they ran out the door toward the carnival.

	They ran like the wind toward the place of doom, 
thinking the worst has happened to Serena. 'Serena... just 
hang on... the world needs you... I need you!" Darien 
thought sadly.

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*

	At the temple, Raye was doing a fire reading while 
Lita and Amy watched intently hoping for some piece of 
evidence as to how to destroy their new enemies. Suddenly, 
Raye made a sharp gasp as she began to sweat
professedly.

	"What is the matter Raye!?" Amy asked concurred. Raye 
did not answer, but merely pointed into the flames where 
they saw the generals battling it out with a whole lot of 
youmas. 

	"Oh my God! Zoicite!" Amy exclaimed. "We have to go 
there now! Contact Mina, we'll need all the help we can 
get!" Raye nodded and pulled out her communicator, "Mina! 
Look, there are..."she began, but was quickly cut off with 
Mina finishing for her, "a whole lot of youmas at the 
carnival... we are on our way there now." With that she 
switched off the communicator.

	"Wait a minute... the generals are there, but where 
is Serena?" Lita asked absentmindedly. 

	"Maybe it was like last time, Sere did not show up 
until she was absolutely needed... " Raye reassured them, 
more for herself than for the others.

	"Maybe..." Lita said, but something inside her told 
her that Serena was not okay.... " or maybe not." 

	"C'mon you guys.. .transform!" Amy cried loudly.	

	"Mercury Star Power!"

	"Jupiter Star Power!"

	"Mars Star Power!" 

	Then the three scouts made their way to the carnival 
with similar thoughts in their heads: 'Hope we can make it 
there before it is too late... just hang on a little 
longer_______ (insert their respective love's names here).'

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*	

	At the carnival, the generals were busy fighting with
 the youmas, it seemed like their powers could only phase 
the demons, and not destroy them.

	*"We need Serena..."* Jedite said through that 
mouthpiece.

	*"No can do... she was drained..."* Malachite said 
sadly, *"I put her someplace safe..." he said 
reassuringly.* 

	As a youma was about to strike Zoicite with his 
energy bolt, a very loud, and very angry "Mercury Bubbles 
freeze!" was called against the youma freezing it. Followed 
by a "Mars Firebird Strike!"  and a "Jupiter Thunder 
Crash!" at the same youma, yet it was only weakened. 

	Zoicite looked thankfully at Mercury, and she merely 
smiled. While, Jedite and Nephlite look nervously and 
longingly at their loves, Mars and Jupiter look at them 
untrustingly.

	Suddenly there was a "Venus Love Chain Encircle" that 
came from the opposite side of the carnival which wrapped a 
youma and zapped it, but it was strong... stronger than 
Venus. She was about to lose control of the chain, but 
strong hands came from behind her and helped her grasp the 
chain tighter. She looked behind her and saw none other 
than Malachite. "I'm only letting you this close, because I 
need help, but don't expect it to be like this all the 
time.. traitor!" He looked hurt, but quickly concealed it. 
They combined energies and struck the youma together. Their 
combined power turned the youma into ashes. 

	As the youma was destroyed, Venus broke out of his 
embrace and ran to the other scouts. Malachite was left 
with a very worried Tuxedo Mask who asked, "Where is 
Serena?" Malachite was about to answer, but was interrupted 
when a youma began to attack them. 

	The battle went on fruitlessly, no other youma was 
destroyed because the good side was divided into two groups 
and one, particularly the female portion of the group, had 
a lot of distrust toward the male side. Excluding Tuxedo 
Mask and Amy from both these divisions, for Tuxedo Mask was 
only intent on finding Serena and making these monsters pay 
and Amy trusted Zoicite fully, without a doubt. 
	
	So the battle raged on, with the youmas badly 
scratched up, but not as bad as the quickly tiring scouts 
and generals. Suddenly a blue yucky-looking youma spotted 
Rini, who was frozen to the spot from the battle sight in 
front of her. Tuxedo Mask had put her in one of the booths 
near the ring toss booth to keep her safe, but nonetheless, 
she was kind of easy to see, with her pink hair and all.

	The creature stepped forward toward her and sent out 
an energy blast toward her, but just in time, Mina tackled 
her and took the blunt of the attack. The rest of the 
scouts and the generals were either losing power fast or 
too tired to move. Rini screamed as she saw Mina take the 
blast for her and Mina screamed out of pure pain.

	Malachite was knocked unconscious minutes before and 
was being taken care of by Mercury. While Tuxedo Mask, 
Mars, Jupiter, Nephlite, Jedite, and Zoicite continued the 
offensive attacks, but they were quickly weakened with 
combined attacks from several demons. Their anguished cries 
could be heard all across the carnival grounds as the 
energy beam hit them head on.	

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*

	In the Negaverse, the Wiseman looked inside his 
crystal ball staff and saw the battle raging between the 
youmas and the generals. "Damn!" he cursed as he  noticed 
that the scouts joined the battle as well. "Oh well... they 
will not be able to defeat the new energized youmas..."

	"Where is that Moonlight Maiden?" he mused as if it 
were only an afterthought. "Oh, well... it does not matter 
she is of no matter to my plan, the targets are present and 
once I have the generals, the Doom Phantom will be released 
into this pitiful little world!" he concluded as his evil 
laughter filled the Dark Moon Palace.


*	*	*	*	*	*	*	* 
	
	Meanwhile, in the ring toss booth, Serena fought to 
stay conscious on a bed of stuffed dolls and animals, some 
were of the scouts and some were of her and Tuxedo Mask. 
'I've got to go out there and help.' she thought weakly to 
herself.


	Just then a blood-curdling scream could be heard 
throughout the carnival, which she recognized it as Rini's 
voice, followed quickly by Mina's own terrifying scream as 
she was hit with the beam. Determination ran through 
Serena's veins as she willed herself to get up, with every 
scream of pain that escaped her friends' lips, the more 
determination built up in her system. Then Darien's 
anguished cries filled her ears and she weakly, yet angrily 
whispered, "Silver Moon Power!!" A silver light enveloped 
her weak body, rejuvenating it somewhat.

	When the transformation was complete she thought to 
herself, 'I won't run away this time you guys... I'll stand 
beside you and fight till the end, just like I should have 
done long ago. I'll fight for you all!" 

	She ran to the center of the battlefield just as 
Emerald was about to capture the generals since they were 
already weakened that.  Before joining in the battle, 
Serena looked at the status of her comrades: Venus and Rini 
were to her left, on the ground, Venus was hurt, but Rini 
was unharmed; to her right Mars, Jupiter, Nephlite, 
Zoicite, Tuxedo Mask, and Jedite were in different 
positions on the ground, all in extreme amounts of pain. 
'Darien.... scouts... generals... my friends....' Serena 
thought sadly. Then she looked behind her and caught a 
glimpse of Mercury taking care of Malachite, who was 
unconscious on the ground. 

	She quickly approached the two, doctor and patient, 
and asked Mercury if he was alright. Mercury answered, 
"Yes, he'll be fine. He's just unconscious... he'll come to 
in a few minutes or so." Mercury's eyes were filled with 
joy to see Serena again, and Moon showed her appreciation 
for her care over Malachite with her eyes. 

	Then Moon looked at Malachite and said softly, "Don't 
worry... I'll get them for you... you protected me long 
enough... my turn to protect you..." With that she kissed 
his forehead and turned her back to them as she walked 
toward the Emerald who was at the center of the army of 
youmas. "Serena... don't.. " Malachite said weakly without 
opening his eyes, "You'll... be... hurt..."

	Mercury looked with awe at the man before her, even 
in his injured state, he was still protecting and warning 
her. But to no avail, when Serena has her mind set, it is 
almost impossible to alter its course. They all learned 
that the hard way, and now it was the Negaverses turn to 
feel the power of her love for her friends.

	They all watched her, youmas, scouts, and generals 
alike, as she slowly made her way toward Emerald. Emerald 
was stunned, this girl who seemed weak, yet strong at the 
same time. The girl had that killer look in her eyes, which 
was aimed directly at her. That was not what paralyzed 
Emerald to the spot, however, It was the girl's 
determination and will that frightened the powerful member 
of the Dark Moon Family. 

	Suddenly, the Wise Man's voice rang through her head. 
"What are you doing, Emerald?! Why are you just standing 
there?! Do something! DO ANYTHING!" With that Emerald 
snapped out of her reverie and prepared a beam for the 
girl, the one known as the Moonlight Maiden.

	Before she released the blast, Moonlight Maiden 
stopped in front of Emerald and said weakly, yet firmly, 
"Now you will pay... mess with my friends and you'll have 
to mess with me." Then she wobbled a bit, almost losing her 
balance as she was hit with a wave of nausea and fatigue.

	Emerald quickly hid her fear, and mocked the girl, 
"YOU are going to make ME pay?!" she scoffed unbelievingly, 
"You that can't even stand on her own." Emerald chucked 
annoyingly and ceased only to stare bewildered at the girl 
who had her eyes closed in concentration as she gathered 
her power for the battle. Suddenly, without warning 
Moonlight Maiden snapped her eyes open and barely whispered 
"Silver Cosmic Moon Power!"

	The scouts and the generals looked on stupefied, 
while Tuxedo Mask and Rini both looked on worriedly. All 
knowing that she was using up a lot of her much needed 
energy to do whatever she was doing.

	A bright silver light enveloped the youmas and 
Emerald, yet she realized that it could destroy her, so she 
quickly transported as far as she could from the light and 
simply watched on as the Maiden's power enveloped the small 
army of youmas. When the light died, all watched the 
Moonlight Maiden's limp body fell onto the ground. 

	Within seconds, Tuxedo was at her side, angry with 
himself for not being there to catch her before she fell. 
"Serena... are you okay?! Speak to me... please... please 
be okay." he sobbed into her hair stroking it gently as to 
avoid jarring her in her injured state.  The others, 
including a very weak, yet worried Malachite who was 
finally conscious again, the scouts, the rest of the 
generals, and Rini.

	"Mercury! Is she gonna be okay?!" shouted a very 
disturbed Malachite.

	"I don't know, you guys.... I don't know..." came the 
very nervous answer from a genius that supposedly knew 
everything..

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*


	"Whoa! That was some show of fireworks! Maybe this 
Moonlight Maiden will be of some use after all..." Wiseman 
concluded. 

	"After that over-use of her powers, she might need to 
re-charge for a while, but it is a worthy investment. With 
her strength, I won't need those pathetic generals at all 
and the Doom Phantom's revival day will come sooner than 
expected."  He said almost giddily.

	"Emerald..." Wiseman called, "Slight change in 
plans... capture that Moonlight Maiden instead of those 
silly generals."

	"But why, Wiseman?! We don't need her! She is of no 
use to us!" Emerald insisted, her jealousy taking the best 
of her.

	"NO USE?! She just destroyed two dozen youma by 
herself! Besides, I'll be the judge of who I need, not you! 
Do you understand?" Wiseman said impatiently.

	"Yes, Wiseman, I understand." Emerald said 
defeatedly.

	"NOW, I SAID BRING HER TO ME!" he said again, more 
feverishly.

*	*	*	*	*	*	*	*	

	Mercury quickly scanned her body and concluded that 
she used up a lot of energy to destroy the youmas. She was 
just suffering from extreme fatigue and that she needed 
some replacement energy quickly to help her in healing, or 
else she would fall into a deep sleep never to awaken... in 
other words: she would die. A group gasp was heard 
throughout the abandoned carnival area.

(Millie: C'mon everybody join in: ::gasp!::)

	Before the others could react, Tuxedo automatically 
began to transfer his energy to her. The others knew that 
it was not wise to disturb a transfer of energy for it 
might result in the loss of both parties, and they did not 
wish to lose both their prince and princess on the same 
day. 

	In amidst the transfer, Emerald appeared before the 
scouts and generals and menacingly laughed while summoning 
yet another youma, not one of those special ones that were 
extra-super-charged, but a regular one, which could be 
destroyed with a combination of powers from the scouts or 
the generals. 

	Whilst the others battled the youma, Mercury stayed 
behind to take care of Moonlight Maiden and Tuxedo Mask in 
their vulnerable states. Emerald took this into account, 
but merely enclosed her in an energy bubble, un-permeable 
to anything. Mercury banged on the energy bubble's surface 
and even attempted to blast herself free with her Mercury 
Bubbles Freeze, but to no avail, there was nothing she 
could do. 

	Emerald was about to just grab Moonlight Maiden from 
Tuxedo Mask's grasp, but Wiseman's voice saying, "NO! Do 
not disturb them! It could cost us her life! We NEED her 
alive! Take them both, yet do not harm them... lest it be 
your head!" With that Emerald carefully transported Tuxedo 
Mask with  Moonlight Maiden still in cuddled in his arms 
into the Dark Moon Kingdom. 

	As soon as, they finish materializing in the Palace, 
Darien quickly stops the  energy transfer and looks down at 
the now stabilized, and stunningly beautiful Meatball head 
he held in his arms. 

	The feeling of evil surrounding them and the sight of 
Emerald in front of him snap him out of his reverie. He 
resumed a defensive stance and cuddled the Maiden closer to 
his chest...

(Millie: don't we all wish to trade spots with MM 
{Moonlight Maiden} right now... ::sigh::)

(Usa:  Actually, I would mind either...)

	 Then in a matter of minutes, Emerald did not have to 
lift a finger, for the drain of the transfer took its toll 
on Tuxedo Mask. He fell to the ground but cushioned the 
fall for Moonlight Maiden. 

	Then Wiseman entered the room and looked at the two 
unconscious on the floor. He instructed Emerald to put 
Tuxedo in the cell across the room, while he himself placed 
the Maiden's limp body into a brainwashing machine.

	"Emerald.. you are dismissed." Wiseman said to her 
calmly. "Just be glad you still have your life... for now."

 	As Emerald was exiting, Demando entered the room 
curiously. "What are you up to Wiseman? Did you succeed in 
capturing the four generals as you planned?" 

	"Actually... no... there was a change in plans..." 
Wiseman replied smugly, "I decided to capture the Moonlight 
Maiden instead. She shows great promise. She demonstrated 
her power today, not her full power, just a small fraction 
of what she will be capable of; she is stronger than the 
four generals combined!" he exclaimed excitedly.

	"Hmm... that is good... one of your plans has FINALLY 
proved useful! About time!" Demando scoffed. 

	"Hmmm... right... if you'll excuse me, my Prince... I 
have some other matters to attend to." Wiseman excused 
himself from Demando's presence, not wishing to be there an 
longer.

	"More powerful than the generals, huh?" He mused 
while walking slowly to the machine after Wiseman had left, 
"then that must make you... more powerful than the scouts, 
since the generals and scouts have the same energy level. 
You must really be..." Demando gasped loudly as he finally 
took in all her beauty. "Beautiful..." 

	Demando looked at the thorn that just stuck herself 
in his side recently, she was a rose to the core: 
beautiful, yet deadly. 'What about Serena you fool!' a 
guilty voice in his head taunted. 'I love her for who she 
is as well as her beauty, but this Maiden is beautiful... 
just as the Neo-Queen... I'm in love with so many... 
Serena, the Neo-Queen, and now Moonlight Maiden.'

(Usa: Well, talk about obsessing...)

	He reached gently to stroke her face, but before he 
could, a bright silver light glowed from the Maiden's body, 
causing Demando to look away for a while. When he turned 
back, he saw none other than Serena, his love. 

	"Serena? No... it can't be!" Demando exclaimed 
unbelievingly. 

End Of Chapter 3

	::gasp::  Ohh my!  Isn't the plot thickening?  I just 
hope you guys have enough patients and wait for the next 
chapter kindly, or you could just haul us with e-mails 
telling us why we should have the next chapter out soon... I 
prefer the second way...

-chan - Intimate form of address.  Close families and friends use 
it.  You should never call anyone older than you '-chan' unless you 
are really close, or it's a boyfriend/girlfriend thing.

-san - Usual term for respect meaning Mr. Or Ms.  It is used for 
people you don't know well who are more or less in the social 
status.  And it is also used in last names.

-sama - A very respectfully ending used for Gods, Kings, your boss, 
etc...

-kun - Used by socially superior males to inferior ones.
