AUTHOR'S NOTES: Minna!! here it is the 12th chapter of my fic. Just wait a little more
and we'll be able to wrap up this fic!!! I'd like to thank again all those people who 
read this fic and waited patiently for it!! Fish Water, Kelly, Rachel guys thanks for the
words of encouragement!

    Mamoru was thrown back from the force Akira exerted and landed on his back. Grimicing 
in pain he slowly sat up, "What do you mean? I never did leave you there to die!" Mamoru 
protested.

    Akira's eyes hardend. "Oh! so you mean you didn't just leave on your horse, after 
defeating those youmas who had ambushed us in the forest?" He said shaking his head. "Don't
make me laugh I saw you leave without looking around seeing if my brother and I were still
there breathing, anything!!! But no the prince just rode away without even glancing back!!"
He said angrily, punctuating it with a bombard of roses. Mamoru tried to avoid them, but 
one caught his shoulder, and he stiffled a cry of pain.

    Mamoru stood up and clutched his arm. "Akira! listen to me I looked for you and your
brother but I didn't see you!!! Believe me if I saw you there hurt I would've saved you!!
But I didn't!!" he said. Akira charged at him, "Don't lie to me I was there bleeding but 
you didn't see me!! You left!! Left me and my brother to die!!" He screamed as he struck 
Mamoru. Mamoru blocked it with his own cane gritting his teeth as Akira pushed his weight.

    They were so immersed in their fight that they didn't see the black cloud that started 
to swirl beside them. 

    A laugh came through it, jarring both man from their fight.

    "I didn't realize that what I did back then would result to this." a woman's voice
said stepping out from the cloud.   

    The girls and the two cats looked at the new arrival with suprise although the woman
was adorned in a different way, she bore a startling resemblance with Queen Beryl. Leaving 
no doubt in their minds that this was Beryl's sister. 

    Akira, having heard his queen's statement, eased back from Mamoru and stood there 
panting. "What do you mean?" He asked confused. He couldn't believe what he had just heard.
What did his queen meant when she said that she couldn't believe this would be the result
what she did back then.

    The woman looked at Akira and sneered. "Did you really think, that the prince would
leave you behind?" She laughed. "You were easily fooled weren't you?" She laughed again 
and shook her head. "Akira, you wre so young back then. Being the newest member of the 
elite gaurds of the prince, you were an easy victim to my manipulations. You didn't know
the prince that much yet that made you succomed to the spell I weaved."

    "What?" He said softly, looking at his prince and then back at his queen. 

    The woman laughed at Akira's bewildered look. "See? Just as I said. You were easily
fooled."

    Akira looked at his prince again. "You mean, the prince didn't really leave my brother
and I to die that day?" He couldn't believe that he was being manipulated, by the person
whom he had thought had been his rescuer. Mamoru could see the pain in Akira's eyes as he
looked at him, and as Akira realized that the person he was trying to kill didn't do 
anything to deserved death. 

    "Yes, he didn't. He was looking for you and your brother in those woods. But by that
time my sister and I had already teleported you out of there. She brainwashed the others 
and I wove my spell on you." she said looking at their stunned faces at her admission.

    "Damn you!" Rei said clenching her fists. She had never met such a dispicable person
before, she was itching to punch that smug look on her face. But she knew that it
would be dangerous, for they don't know why she had showed herself now. 

    Mamoru looked at the woman as he stood up, one hand supporting his injured arm. "Why
did you do that to him? What did I do to you? Tell me now, Onyxia!" He said looking at 
her with heated blue eyes. 

    Onyxia turned her gaze toward the man who was the cause of her sister's death. 
"Ah! I see you still remember me, Endymion. I had thought you would have forgotten my 
name. It is good to know you still remember."

    Mamoru remembered her alright, it was just that he had never thought that she would
be as dangerous as her sister. She was a sweet tempered child before, she often played
with her dolls when their family would come and visit his parents. Never had he any
problems with her, unlike her sister who would always stick to his side like glue.

    "Why I put a spell on your former friend, was just for the simple fact that I
needed him to find you. It has been a long time you see and I know your gaurds would
know you even if you were reincarnated. I on the other hand like my sister can't do 
that quite easily." She said glancing at Akira. "and as to why I'm doing this? Well for
the death of my sister. You were the one she wanted, I could see it everytime we went to
your home. Even if I was quiet at that time I was quite loyal to my sister and I loved 
her dearly. When I saw her suffering because her love wasn't returned I developed a 
hatred for you. Before she was quite happy, but since she fell in love with you, she
changed. I could never see her laugh anymore, she wouldn't even play with me anymore!
you destroyed my sister! Now I'm going to destroy you!" She said as she flicked her wrist.

    Mamoru didn't know what hit him. One minute he was standing there listening with 
growing concern that Onyxia may have gone mad when he felt himself being lifted from 
the ground to be tossed by an unknown force to the cave wall, crying out in pain as he
slammed against the wall and fell to the floor.

    "PAPA!!" Chibi-Usa screamed in horror, when she saw her future father crumple 
to the ground. She started struggling against Rei, who took hold of her when she had 
seen her intent. "Let me go! Rei! Let me go!" Chibi-Usa cried as she continued to 
struggle. Rei refused to budge an inch, knowing full well if she did Chibi-Usa may
be harmed. 

    Onyxia was looking at her handy work when she heard the tormented scream. She 
turned to face the Seishi, and saw them looking at her with anger written all over
their faces. She then caught a glimpse of the struggling pink haired girl in one 
of the Seishi's arms concluding correctly that the girl maybe the prince's daughter.
Her eyes glittered, this may prove interesting to have all the family with her and 
to destroy them all in one stroke.

    Akira stood there numbed by what he had heard, at first he couldn't believe that
what he remembered that fateful day when he had first realized that Mamoru Chiba was
Prince Endymion had been all lies. Lies which had stirred his anger and resentment
against a man whom he had thought had left him and his brother to die. But when Onyxia
had confessed everything, he felt ashamed for having doubted his prince. He was trying
to figure out what to do when he saw to his horror Mamoru flying through the air and
slamming against the wall of the cave. "Endymion-sama!!" He cried as he made his way
towards the fallen man.

    Onyxia saw this out of the corner of her eye and flicked a wrist, sending Akira
slamming onto the wall. She then clenched her hand and turned to look at him, as Akira 
started to choke. "I have no use for you now." She said and twisted her hand. Akira 
clawed at his throat in vain, he couldn't breath with the strange force stangling him.

    Occupied dealing with the pest, she didn't see the attack coming and caught it full
on her side. She screamed in pain and looked back at the Seishi to see who dared to
strike her. She saw Jupiter lowering her hands, and turned her anger towards her. 
She used a spell that had Jupiter suspended in the air and thrown back against the wall,
with icy chains leaving her unable to move. 

    Makoto gasped in pain and shivered uncontrollably as the icy chains clamped down her
wrists and ankles to the wall. She looked down at her friends and smiled apologetically.
They were one man short now.

    "Fools! I am not as weak as my sister that you could destroy me that easily." she 
said.

    Rei looked at Ami and Minako knowing that they would fight even if they were in a
disadvantage. She turned towards the quivering Chibi-Usa and said, "Chibi-Usa, We will
fight her and save Usagi-chan, but you have to stay here to avoid getting hurt." Chibi-Usa
shook her head, "I won't! I want to help too! I want to help save my parents! I want to
help save, Mama and Papa!" she said as she glanced at where her father had fallen. She
didn't try to correct herself this time by calling Mamoru and Usagi as Papa and Mama.
For her no matter if she was in the past or in the future Mamoru and Usagi would always
be her loving parents, and she would never, ever want that to change. 

    Rei's heart went out to the child. "Chibi-Usa I know you do but.." she was stopped 
when Chibi-Usa shook her head again. Luna jumped from her position on top of the rock
she and Artemis had taken cover onto Chibi-Usa's lap, "Rei's right Chibi-Usa. You must 
stay here and let the girls do it. You don't have to fight you're not strong enough." 
Luna said, as Artemis nodded his agreement. "NO! I want to fight I want to be able 
to help save my parents!" she said stubbornly. Rei looked at Ami and Minako conveying 
through her eyes to ask them to help convince Chibi-Usa. Minako was the one who crouched 
down and said, "Chibi-Usa-chan, you need to stay put we don't want you to get hurt in 
the process." Chibi-Usa still shook her head stubbornly. 

    "Alright if you want to help, go to your father and see if he's alright." Ami said.
This brought a gasp from Minako and Rei, even Makoto's eyes widened when she heard what
Ami said. "Are you out of your mind!?" Rei asked, not believing the sensible Ami would
be the one to suggest sucha a thing. Ami glanced at Onyxia who was listening, to the 
exchange. Why she haven't attacked them was puzzling Ami, she could have killed them by
now while they were convincing Chibi-Usa to stay put. Why she haven't made any effort
was making Ami feel edgy.

    "Ami! do you realize what you have just said!?" Minako asked incredilously. Ami 
nodded. "I do. Leave her to tend to her father." She looked back at her shocked friends,
"I have a bad feeling about this whole situation, and arguing with Chibi-Usa-chan 
would only be wasting time." She commented softly as she turned back to their adversary. 

    Onyxia saw the exchange giggled, then laughed. Rei and Minako stood up to stand
on either side of Ami. "Chibi-Usa-chan, go to Mamoru-kun and see if he's alright.
Luna! Artemis! you both stay here!" Rei said as she prepared for an attack. "Be
careful!" Luna said as she and Artemis took cover. 

    Onyxia's eyes glittered. ~ I'll just have to keep them busy in order for my plan
to take full effect.~ she thought as she chanted up a spell.

    Chibi-Usa ran to her father as the other Seishi launched an attack against Onyxia.
She had just reached her father in time to see him starting to get up. She put and arm
out and helped him. 

    "Chibi... Chibi-Usa?" Mamoru asked hoarsely. "What in the..." He started to ask
when he felt his shoulder explode in pain when he moved it. Chibi-Usa looked tearfully
at her father, "Don't move too much, papa." She said as she helped him to a sitting
position. Mamoru bit back a moan of pain when Chibi-Usa eased him back, letting him
rest for a moment. He looked at the battle going on before him, wincing when he saw
Rei get grazed by a flying icicle, while Ami and Minako dodged and threw attacks of
their own, and to see Makoto trying to free herself from her icy shackles. He didn't 
see Akira anywhere in the battlefield and looked for any sign of him. He started to
see him lying face down a few feet from him. 

    Just then Akira began to stir and pushed himself up to his knees. He looked over
to where the battle was going on, and glanced to where he last saw Endymion lying.
Relief flooded into his veins and registered on his face when he saw Endymion sitting 
with the pink haired girl, a few feet away from him. Standing up slowly he grimce at 
the pain in his head and made his way towards the prince. 

    "Are you okay?" Mamoru asked as Akira eased down beside him. Chibi-Usa moved closer
to her father and tightened her arms around him. Mamoru in turn hugged her to his side,
with his good arm.

    "Yeah, I'm fine." Akira said feeling a little awkward. He didn't know what to say
to the person whom he was trying to kill just a few minutes ago. "Endymion-sama I want
to..." he started to say when Mamoru shook his head. "If you're going to apologize about
what happened a few minutes before don't worry about it. I don't blame you for trying
to kill me. I know how it is to be brainwashed and to be told of lies." Mamoru said
as he remembered when he was brainwashed just after his memories of the Moon Kingdom,
and of who he really was were restored to him. If it wasn't for their locket and 
Usagi's love for him, he would've killed her. Shaking those gloomy thoughts he observed
the battle before him, wishing he could do something to help them. He was about to
suggest to Akira that they try to help the Seishi when, he felt something start to
clutch him feircely. It was as if something was being torn from him. Glancing down, 
he saw Chibi-Usa struggling to keep a scream of pain and started to fade once again. 

     "Chibi-Usa! What is it!? Tell me!!" He said frantically as he tried to hold onto
her. Chibi-Usa shook her head frightened, as she felt a fierce pain slice into her. 
"I don't know! Papa! What's happening!?" she cried clutching her father inspite of the
pain she felt that started to deminish her strength. 

     "PAPA!! PAPA!!" Chibi-Usa screamed as the pain became unbearable. Mamoru could
do nothing but hold her as her small body quivered. Chibi-Usa clung to her father
as tears coursed down her cheeks. Mamoru shook his head and clutched her tightly then ever.

     "No... No..." Mamoru whispered as tears of helplessness started to form in his eyes.
"No...please Chibi-Usa! Not you too!!!" He cried out helplessly. ~Usagi... something's 
happened with Usagi!!~ he thought. "Chibi-Usa! you have to hang on don't lose to
whatever is taking you from me!" He cried as tears trickled down his cheek. He had
lost Usagi to them and he was trying to save her. Now his daughter was next, he couldn't 
bear it as one by one his future family was being taken from him.

     "Chibi-Usa!! please Chibi-Usa!" Mamoru cried as Chibi-Usa lifted her tears streaked
face to look at her father. She didn't know how she knew, but she felt that she was about 
to disappear. She wasn't able to help rescue her mother and now she was going to leave her
father too, and there was nothing she could do about it.

     Chibi-Usa lifted her hands to touch her father's cheek as tears flowed freely. 
"Papa... I'm sorry... I couldn't help you find mama... I'm sorry... but I can't 
fight it any more..." She whispered and faded completely. 

     Mamoru shook his head over and over, tears rolling unheeded down his face.
"No..." he whispered as he clutched the air where only moments before his daughter
had been. "No..." he sobbed clenching his eyes shut against the pain he felt. 
"Chibi-Usa..." he said and cried.

     Akira looked away from the anguish he saw on the other man's face. What he saw
tore at him. He knew that indirectly he was responsible for Endymion-sama's
anguish. He looked at the battle which hadn't stopped even during the painful ordeal.
Rising painfully and he started to head towards the others, knowing full well that he 
had to help somehow. 

     He had just taken a few steps when he felt Endymion move behind him. He glanced
back and saw him standing, his face devoid of any emotions only the dried tears betrayed
the fact he had shed them. His blue eyes dark with anguish for his loss and fury for 
the person who had dared hurt his future family.

     "Endymion-sama..." He started to say but was ignored as the other man walked
determindly towards the others.

     
     Rei breathed heavily as she came up on her knees and glanced towards the others.
Ami was clutching her injured arm, and Mianko was lying down unconcious after the 
recent blast threw her to the ground. Makoto on the other hand was kneeling behind her
panting from the attack. She had freed herself after Ami distracted Onyxia enough for 
Rei to help melt the icy shackles from Makoto. After that all hell broke lose when
Onyxia saw what had happened.

     Rei was about to try another attack when she saw Mamoru approaching them with Akira
following close behind. Although she could tell that Mamoru was injured badly, he didn't 
give any indication that he was in pain. In fact he looked as if he was ready to kill.
Shivering at the unwanted thought, she stood up and came to an attacking stance.

     Onyxia was smiling at her handy work when she happened see the two men approaching
her. Seeing the determined look on Mamoru's face she looked behind him to look for the
little girl seeing that no one was there. She turned back to look at Mamoru. Who had
stopped a few feet away from her. 

     "I see that the girl has disappeared." Onyxia said smuggly. Not fearing the wild
fury she saw in Mamoru's eyes. 

     Rei and the others on the other hand looked at Mamoru with fear. They could see 
that wild look in his eyes not believing that he could feel such anger. Noticing that
Chibi-Usa was not with him, they feared even more. They didn't know what that meant 
but they feared nevertheless. Rei didn't want to ask but she was compeled to do just 
that.

     "Mamoru? Mamoru where is Chibi-Usa?" Rei asked hesitantly. Mamoru's shoulder was 
stiff and his voice was flat when without even turning to look at her replied.

     "She's gone." 

     "Gone?" Rei repeated confused.

     "She disappeared. She disappeared in front of me, she disappeared while I held her."
Mamoru said in a low voice. Looking down his clenched hands.

     Rei heard Ami, Minako and Makoto gasp behind her. Chibi-Usa couldn't possibly 
disappear unless... Rei jerked shaking her head disbelievingly. "No... but that... but
that could... only mean that..." She stuttered unable to finish the thought. Mamoru
looked up from his clenched hands to Onyxia's gleeful face.  

    "Where is Usagi?" he asked coldly. 

    Onyxia just smiled and giggled. "Your beloved?" she asked. 
    
    Mamoru said nothing he just stood there. Rei felt a shiver rush up her spine when
she observed all of this. Ami was right into believing there was something that Onyxia
was hidding. Something she was planning that they didn't know about but the question 
was what is it?

    Onyxia looked at them knowing that the last part of her plan was well underway
and nearing completion or rather... she thought looking at Mamoru, it was already
completed.

    "You want to know where she is?" She asked as she created a black cloud all around 
them. Her eyes never straying from Mamoru's face.

    "I'll take you to her then." 

    So saying she whisked them all deeper into the dark cave.

AHH!!!! don't throw anything at me please!!!
I know I know a hell of a way to cut it!! I'm sorry not that I 
want to annoy you no that's not it!!! It's just that I felt it was
better to cut it off here. I'm going to send the next chapter along.
Yeah I know I said it would be three or four more to go. But I just found
out that if that would be the case the ending would be to abrupt. Don't worry
though the next would be the last chapter then the Epilogue would be next!
