This is my very first attempt at a fanfic, so e-mail me and tell me what ya think. but please don't flame me TOO bad. Thanks! my e-mail address is: nitrogirl_65@yahoo.com oh yeah! and check out my webpage! http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Market/1907 As usual, Sailor Moon and all it's associating characters don't belong to me. blah blah blah. you know the drill. Here's a basic outline: Serena is 17 and Darien is 20. They know their future and each others identities, and they are hooked up. oh yeah, and Darien and Raye never dated. Rating: PG-13 ************************* I woke up surprisingly early that morning. As my mind arose from its sleepy state, I was suddenly flooded by a rush of memories from the previous three weeks: Darien and I eating ice cream in the park; The two of us sharing a chocolate shake at the arcade; but most of all, the romantic candlelit dinner for two that we had shared at his apartment last night. I was disappointed about waking up so early, but a smile crept across my face as all those wonderful thoughts filled and swirled around in my head. I snuggled deeper into my bunny and moon printed comforter, and rolled over to look at the picture that was placed carefully on my bedside table. It was a picture of Dariend and I that taken just a few weeks before when we were at the carnival. I went to roll over and go back to sleep, when the clock on the wall caught my eye. "Waahhh?! 8:15?! I'm late for school... AGAIN!" I quickly jumped out of bed, ran a comb down through my long, blond hair, tied it up into my trademark "meatball" odangos, got dressed and, making sure not to forget my brooch, I ran downstairs and out the front door. I was halfway down the driveway when my mother yelled after me. "Serena! Where on earth are you going? It's Saturday!" "What?!" I cried. I fell to my knees and started wailing. "I woke up and rushed around trying to get ready for ten minutes all for nothing? It's not fair!" Suddenly, a dark shadow loomed over me. "What's the matter, Meatball Head?" a deep, sexy, yet familiar voice said. I turned around and looked up. A huge grin spread across my face when I saw who it was. "Darien!" I said happily. I jumped up and gave him the biggest hug I could. I then reached up and kissed the very tip of his nose. "I am sooo happy to see you!" "What are you doing here?" I added curiously. "Nothing much... I just missed you. That's all." he said shyly. I stood up and just spent the next few minutes gazing into his beautiful, peircing blue eyes. 'He's so sexy when he's nervous... I love the way he looks when his bangs fall over his eyes... oooooh... and when he looks up at me through those long lashes... It drives me crazy!' Just then a voice interupted my daydreaming. "Serena, Earth to Serena!" I snapped back to reality, and Darien continued to talk. "What's on your mind Meatball Head?" "Oh not much... just thinking to myself..." "About what?" "Oh nothing," I said coyley, "just how incredibly sexy you are." Darien smiled and suggested that we go for a walk so we could talk. "I love you," he whispered into my ear as we walked. ************************* "So, um... uh, what did you want to talk about?" I said with a nervous giggle. I despretely hoped that I sounded more confidant than I felt. Darien snaked his arm around my waist, and led me to a nearby park bench. He took both of my hands into one of his, and used the other one to gently caress my cheek. 'She looks so beautiful right now. What am I talking about... Serena looks beautiful ALL the time. Especially when she's waiting for something. Oh... I could just stare at her all day. She's so full of life and beauty. That golden blond hair, those amazingly blue eyes... She's like an angel... My own, personal gaurdian angel. I love her more than life itself. I would risk my own life in order to protect her. I don't know what I would ever do if I lost her.' "Serena," Darien said as he leaned closer to my face and started to give me light butterfly kisses across my neck, "when was the last time I told you that I loved you?" His kisses changed from little butterfly ones into sweet, gentle ones that worked their way down my arm before stopping when they reached my hand. Relief crossed my face once the words left his mouth. "Oh, about 15 times since we left my house this morning, silly. But when," I said as I leaned forward so our foreheads were touching, "was the last time I told YOU?" He started to reply, but I placed a single finger across his lips and said, "Shhh. Don't talk." I then leaned in to kiss him, and we began to kiss passionatly as we drifted off into our own little world. 'He is such and AMAZING kisser! And to think I spent all that time thinking I hated him! I had never been more wrong in my life. Mina, Lita, Raye, Amy, and Andrew were right. I SHOULD have listened to my heart all along.' As we broke away from our kiss, both a little short of breath, he smiled at me and said, "Come on, I've got something I want to show you." ************************* Ok! That's it for Chapter One! I promise to start on the next chapter as soon as I have time. I hope you all liked it!
