Email welcome at: LilyHeavin@gurlmail.com(prefer this one though!!!!) or AllyM25@aol.com Note: Don't own SM, yadda yadda yadda. Also, this is a continuation of Two Becoming One, so if you haven't read that you need to go read it now! A New Arrival, Part One: A Perfect Idea As I ride along the road, my mind thinks of excuses to tell my mother and father about how they are about to become gran- dparents. Maybe I should say that it was an accident or something. No, that won't work. Should I say that we did it because Mamo- chan just propose to me? That's an idea.... Slaming the door behind me, I find my mom in the kitc- hen making one of my favorite foods: homemade double fudge ice cream with cookie dough. I can feel myself drooling as I v- enture forth into the kitchen. Oh wow, it smells delicious. Hop- efully my news won't spoil my mom's wonderful delicacy. "Hi there Hun. How was your party?" my mom asks n- ot even once turning away from her cooking. It's amazing; she c- an cook, read, and talk at the same time perfectly. Man, I can't even do one perfectly. Shame isn't it? "Hi mom. The party was," Oh man! I forgot what I told my parents. What party? Oh jeez, what if she asks questions? I pray to Selene she doesn't. "great. Just great. So what's for din- ner?" I ask, hoping to change the subject. My plan worked. My mom turned her head towards the new set of dir- ections from the cookbook but I knew she was smiling. "Oh nothing special. Just your favorite." I grin back at her. I do ha- ve the best mom in the world. She'll understand why I did what I did with Mamo-chan. "Hi guys! How is my wonderful family?" But my fath- er won't be able too. "Man work was a hazard today. Smells great baby." said my dad in his booming voice. He kissed my mom's cheek and ruffled my hair before sitting down to read the paper. I cough nervously and decide this would be the best time to tell them my 'super' news. I've never seen them in su- ch a great mood before, so maybe they won't blow a gasket. "Well momma, daddy, I do have some interesting news for you." My mom looked up from her cooking again and my fa- ther just glanced over the brim of his glasses. I knew I had th- eir full attention. "I'm, well, how can I put this? I'm kind of, uh, pregnant?" And then all hell broke lose. "Kind of PREGNANT! How can you be *kind* of pregnant? This better be one heck of a joke Usagi Tsukino." my father practically screamed at me. Oh gods, he is going to die when he finds out I'm not joking. "Usagi??" he asks aga- in with anxiousness in his voice. Please, I'm begging you God, don't let him get his .44 out and go kill Mamo-chan. Please. I giggle sheepishly and say just above a whisper, "I'm not joking dad. I'm pregnant. Don't worry though! Mamo-c- han and I are planning on getting married before the baby co- mes." Oh no! Why did I have to add that part in! I'm a fortu- ne's fool, I swear it! My father eyed me intently and then cocked his eye- brow. It's his famous way of studying you to see if you are t- elling the truth or not. I guess he thought I was because he and mom all of a sudden just broke out into tears of joy, or I atleast hope it was joy. "My baby is all grown up!" cried my mother as tears streamed her face. My father nodded along with everything. Jeez, this is going ten times better than I thought it was. I think I'm going to cry too. Then the question my father asked me made me want to scream. "Who's the father?" What the hell is with everybo- dy! I mean come on. It isn't that hard to figure out people. "Dad! It's Mamo-chan you dumby!" Then I saw that teasing smile of his and knew that it was only a joke. I wish t- hat Mina-chan was joking though. Oh well, she *is* a blonde. But then my mom became serious. She noticed the one thing I happen to forget about. "Where is the engagem- ent ring? He didn't ask you to marry him without the ring did he?" Oh gods! Can I say I lost my engagement ring in less t- han twenty four hours? I don't think so Usagi. I'm such a b- aka! I try to stall but only have my mom ask again. This has caught my brother's attention now as he popped his h- ead around the corner he smiled his little oh-you-are-in-tr- ouble. I really hate that guy sometimes! "Oh mom, I left at his place. Do you think I can run over than and get it! Ma- ybe I can bring him over for supper or something too!" I force my fake smile that has been used one to many times. "Great idea!" my mom says. "Give me about three hours and then come on back. We have alot to discuss for your wedding!" I could tell my mommy was very happy. A- nd that isn't the best sign in the world. If she gets involved to much she may find out that this whole thing is a big lie. Shingo's face dropped. "Usagi's wedding plans?!" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Mamo-chan! Where are you love?" I say as I close his apartment door behind me. I hear a voice that sounds lif- elike on the couch, and sure enough that is where my hunny is; eating cracker jacks and getting fat by the second(AN: As if that could happen! The day Mamoru gets fat is the day pigs fly!) I plop down on the couch and hug him. "I have some really interesting news to tell you." Now why does that seem like I've said it before? My mind races for logical explanations for my whole bogus lie. He looks up from the T.V. and kisses me deeply before I am able to continue. When I finally gain control of my voice he is up in the kitchen. Following him, I continue an ever painful speech, "Well just a while ago I told my parents we were having a ba- by." That part made him pause from scavenging the frig and look up at me with a horror stricken face. "Oh no dear! It's not what you think! My parents where thrilled about the ne- ws." I could see some of his color return to his face. "But I also told them that you asked me to marry you after you f- ound out we where having the baby." This time he turns d- eadly white. He doesn't look at all thrilled. "We were getting married!? Why would you say something as stupid as that Usa! Please tell me you didn't tell them we are 'getting married.'" When silence answered him, my suppose prince of patience, forgiveness, love, and, most important, dignity all of sudden just screwed all of that and became down right rude. "You are so dumb Us- ako! How could you do something as idiotic as that? Pl- ease don't tell me you are that much of a baka!" Tears swelled into my eyes as I look him stra- ight in the eyes. "Excuse me Mamo-chan! You are as responsible for this baby as me! Besides we are going to get married sometime in the future, and the future is now you-you-jerk!" With that I storm off into his room to cry my eyes out. Screw him! I can have this baby w- ithout his support. I'm a strong leader; hell, I'm going to be queen of the world someday! I *have* to be a tough gal. I can hear banging on the door as Mamo-chan says some poor excuses. He goes something like, "Oh Usako, I'm so sorry. I am just so uptight about having this baby and all. Please forgive me baby. I swear I'll never get mad at you again." Blah, blah, blah. I've he- ard it all before. But then one part of it catches my a- ttention" "If you want to get married we can. I love you so much that I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with you Usako. Please open the door." YAHOO!!! He wants to get married! That means cake, those little side trays, and more cake! Oh yeah! And flowers and parties and, of course, cake! I should of thought of this marriage idea al- ong time ago! Whoopdeedoo! I open the door and fling myself into my soon- to-be husband's arms. I start to cry; tears of hap- piness just spring out of nowhere. I've never been so happy in all my life. Even when I found out that I was going to be able to graduate highschool, this is nothing compared to that small bit of happiness. But then the problem crept back into my m- ind like a snake slowly creeping on its pray. I look into Mamo-chan's rich blue eyes and ask him som- ething that's so very simple, "Do you have about a thousand dollars? We need to go buy my engage- ment ring, and we better hurry, we only got two more hours." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Tell me what ya think peepz!
