				Scouts Honor
				Chapter 1

        Mina Aino walked slowly past the house that she used to live 
in, trying not to stir up the memories of things long past. But it 
didn't work-she found herself staring at the old condemned building 
with a sadness in her eyes. She missed it-no doubt about that-but why 
did it have to end like it did? If only she could find him. . .

        "Damnit Artemis, I can't just stay here and do nothing, I'm 
going to find her, and that's final!!!" Mina had that look in her eyes 
thought the white cat. I just wish she'd listen to reason once in a 
while. . .

        They have had this argument for two days now; Artemis telling 
her she should wait until the police found anything. It worked out 
fine, saying that he was right, and the police know what they're doing.

        Until now.

        "Look Mina, Luna said she would contact us as soon as she found
her, and losing another scout won't help the situation any. So you 
really should just stay put."

        "I don't think so", she replied. "Besides, how do we know 
something didn't happen to Luna as well?" Artemis shuddered inwardly at
the thought. He had been thinking that same thing-losing Luna would be 
too much for him to handle. Sure they have had their differences in the
past but. . .

        "So I'm going. . .alone"

        "WHAT???" the cat almost shrieked. "You don't even know where 
to begin, and what would the other girls say?"

        "That's why you're not going to say anything to them". Artemis 
began to protest, but Mina held up her hand and continued: "I can't let 
them get involved in this-I should've stopped her when I had the"-

        She never got to finish.

        Maybe it was the large man in a trenchcoat, face hidden from 
view that stopped her.

        "Time to die Venus" he spoke slowly and deliberately.

        "Who are you?" Mina asked, already in a fighting stance.

        "I'd tell you, but that would spoil all the fun". He open his 
coat and pulled out what looked to Mina like a very large sword. "Now 
Venus, welcome your doom." He lashed out at where Mina was standing, 
intending to take off her head in one swift blow.

        Only she wasn't there.

        Leaping into the air above him, Mina placed a near fatal kick 
to his now confused face. As she landed she began to change. . .
        "VENUS STAR POWER!!!"

        The man saw her transform from a small frail teenager into the 
infamous Sailor Venus in the blink of an eye. Cursing himself for his 
slowness, he pressed on his attack, slashing and ripping his way 
towards her, but she deftly avoided each cutting motion and landed 
several kicks and punches to his head and torso.

        "Now time to finish you off scumbag", she cried. "VENUS LOVE 
CHAIN"-

        It was then that she noticed that the man had Artemis by the 
scruff of his fur and his sword to his throat. "One more move doll, 
and it's kitty soup for lunch!!" he shouted.

        "Mina!!!" Artemis gagged, "Kill him!!!"

        But she wouldn't. And the man in the trenchcoat knew it too.

        "What do you want?" Mina asked, trying to keep the rage out of 
her voice, for fear that he just might kill the cat.

        "You'll find out soon enough Sailor Venus, but until then, I 
think I might like a pet. . .for a little while anyway". He cackled 
maddeningly as a bright light began to envelop him and the cat.

        "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! ARTEMIS!!!!!!!", Mina screamed. . .and then 
they were gone.

        Mina, princess of Venus, former Sailor V, vowed to find her 
friends. . .ALL of them. . .if it was the last thing she would ever do.

        Mina was distracted from her nightmare revisited by the beeping 
of her cellular phone. Snapping herself out of it, she answered it.

        "Mina Aino" she said.

        "Mina?" asked a male voice. "My God I'm so glad I was able to 
get a hold of you. You have to hurry and get here fast."

        I have had just about enough of this kind of crap she thought.
"Who the hell is this?" she demanded hotly.

        The answer struck her to the bone.

        "It's Greg, and Ami needs you. She's dying."

        Lita Kino and Raye Hino walked into Lita's house and promptly 
sat on her couch. They had just spent all day working out at the new 
local gym, and were completely exhausted.
 
        "Man", puffed Lita. "I haven't had this much of a workout 
since. . ."

        "Since Serina chased us after dumping spaghetti on her. . ." 
Raye stopped herself short after realizing what she had just said. The 
two hadn't talked about her since she ran away from them that fateful 
night, and that had been about 3 years ago. "Sorry," she apologized, 
being sincere about it. She hadn't meant to be insulting to her, and 
now regretted it. She often wondered if she was part of the reason that 
Serina left town. But her grandfather told her "that path lies the way 
to madness Raye. . .you can't blame yourself for it all your life."

        Lita didn't even hear her. "It's her birthday tomorrow", she 
said sadly. "I wonder if she's happy. I wonder if she's even. . ."

        Raye didn't let her finish. "No Lita", she said sternly. "She's
alive. . .I know it; I can feel it. And I know you can too". She 
noticed Lita was crying now; not bawling like Serina did, but a gentle 
stream of tears that washed down her cheeks.

        "Damnit Raye why did she have leave?" That put Lita over the 
edge and was sobbing harder now. Raye took the tall girl into her arms 
and soothed her, saying things like "Shhhhh", and "Don't worry Lita, 
we'll find her". Raye felt a tear welling up in her eye as well, 
knowing all too well what the taller Scout was going through.

        After crying in her arms for a few minutes, Lita gradually 
settled down. "I'm sorry Raye, it's just gets so hard sometimes. . ."

        "I know Lita, but we have to keep believing that she will come 
back to us. After all she would do the same for"-

        She was cut off by the sight of Mina charging through the door,
looking extremely worried.

        "Lita, Raye, pack your things, we're going to Germany".

        "Mina, what happened?", Lita asked, all business now.

        "I just got a call from Greg. Ami's dying".

        Elsewhere in Tokyo, Darian Chiba woke screaming from his 
nightmare. One work played across his lips and would haunt him until 
morning.

        Serina.
