Hi! Don't mind me if I drag on for another chapter or two just writing about
stuff. Just trying to place paves that will lead to the grand finale. This
is
really a fic of relationships and love. If you expect action then it will
probably be more towards the ending. Hope you enjoy this chapter =)

Partings Ch10
Serena had been busy for the whole morning interviewing models so
it was a relief when Talon called to say that he had hired a photographer.
Serena had finally decided to call her newly developed enterprise: Willow
Fashions Inc. after her deceased aunt and mentor. The building's own
name was to be Remembrance. A fitting name that Serena herself had
decreed.

Days like this is when you really want a break from the world and its
bounds of responsibilities but Serena knew that she couldn't rest fully.
There was still problems of the senshi, Gannon and of course her own
daughter. Things that you have to wait and see if it can be resolved by
itself. Serena was still nowhere near to finding the reason of why her
adopted daughterhas powers of the moon for it had not resurface since
the time they had been on the Moon.

It was nearly 1:00 when Jacob unexpectedly showed up flustered and
blushing, stammering out a lame excuse of seeing how was it going so
far. Serena quickly understood the reason why he came; she smiled as
she noticed that her Solider of Love was late while Jacob was early. A
more pair of mismatched couple that you will ever meet. But Serena
had known that White Tiger loved Venus deeply in the Moon Kingdom
and Venus had also shared the same mutual feelings.

It was 1:15 when Mina came to the building. She had not meant to be
late but somehow or another she was late. Telling the secretary who
she was, Mina went into the office of Ms. Selene's hoping that she
wasn't angry that she was late. However when she got into the office
Ms. Selene introduced her to a friend of hers, a really handsome man
named Jacob Sanders. After asking several questions Mina was hired
and Selene invited her to lunch.

The Night Before-
Amy when knocking into Tim invited him for a drink and to catch up on
all these years. Tim said that their own planet was rebuilt and all was
well so they decided to come to earth as a vacation. Steven was also
engage to their Princess so that was also well. However when Amy
told of what has happened to the senshi, Tim said quietly, "I am not
sure if Steven would react to this calmly. He still has feelings of likening
to Serena after all these years and I am worry about what he would do
to Darien." Amy nodded and for the rest of the night they sat at the bar
drinking and talking of old times. However it didn't take long for Amy to
become drunk. Seeing Amy so tipped off; Tim decides that she was in
no way to travel home so he brought Amy to the hotel where he and his
companions were staying. After a few questions Josh and Steven let the
matter go while Phoenix looked on. But one matter slipped from Tim's
mind. He didn't tell the others on what had happen to Serena and the
Senshi.

Present-
Amy woke up with a mild hangover, surprised at the unfamiliar
surroundings. With some shock Amy sat up realizing that she was
in a hotel room somewhere. Amy then heard a chuckle from behind.
Turning around Amy saw Tim standing near the doorway of the room
with the rest of the Starlights and their Princess. Stepping forward Tim
asked, "Want some breakfast?" Blushing Amy quickly said, "No
thanks." And made her exit rapidly, she thanked Tim and the others
for letting her stay for the night.

It was a good thing that this was her day off. Returning to her apartment
Amy saw her answering machine blinking and realized that she had not
called Greg at all yesterday. So he was bound to be worried. Their
relationship had always been well over the years but these past few
months it has cooled considerably. Now Amy sometimes thinks that
their relationship was more like friends then a couple. When Amy
called Greg he was indeed worried, but Amy noticed that his voice
sounded wary. Greg then told her to meet him at the amusement
park where they had their first date saying that he had something to
say to her there. Amy was immediately puzzled for they had not been
there for such a long time. When she got there she saw Greg with
another women. Greg then said, "Amy, I want to break off my
relationship with you. I am really sorry but I don't have feelings for you
anymore. I hope that you will forgive me and that we can remain friends."
As Greg continued talking, Amy blocked out what he was saying. In
her mind she realized that the women besides him was his new love.
Feeling her heart shattered and wanting to pick up the slivers before
she breaks down, Amy turned away ignoring the words of Greg and
walked away from her now ex-boyfriend. Returning to her own
apartment Amy went to sleep willing her thoughts away. It wasn't
till later a beep from her communicator sounded.

Lunch was going on quite well and after the appetizers Serena left
Mina and Jacob alone saying that she had other appointments to do.

When Selene had left, Jacob asked in a halting voice, "Would you like
to go on a date with me tomorrow night?" Surprised, Mina agreed for
she was already quite smitten with this man. Even if he was an
American, Jacob was quite a handsome man but very serious. So when
he had asked her out for a date, Mina had expected it'd be up to her to
asked him. Strangely, but throughout lunch, as they talked and laugh
Mina felt that this was all quite familiar, As if they had done this before.
She had learned through his conversations, that Jacob was an old friend
of Selene. He lived with his cousins, Selene and other friends in a
mansion overlooking Tokyo Bay. His career was as a businessman.
Jacob learned that Mina lived in England before moving back to Japan
with her white cat Artemis. She was a wonderful volleyball player. Later
Mina went on a boat ride in the park with Jacob. It was quite romantic.
While Mina sat on the other side Jacob could only think, [She is still
the same, Passionate and flighty as always my sweet Mina. Oh how
I hope you will love me as you have once did.] They were both having
a great time till a beep from Mina's pocket sounded. Embarrassed
Mina said, "I have to go Jacob but I had a great time today." Jacob
nodded as he took her back to the shore. And as Mina was leaving
she said, "Consider this our first unofficial date and pick me up
tomorrow at seven at this address."  Leaning over she kissed a
stunned Jacob on the cheek, giving him a slip of paper and ran off.
Dazed Jacob touched his cheek and then smiled a goofy smile.
Returning the boat to the vendor Jacob started skipping home and
thinking that Life was just great.

Returning to the mansion Serena decide to go to the Cherry Hill
Temple and visit as Selene. Picking up Serrie, Serena decided to
bring her along with the Guardians. The guardians were to remain
in their own forms concealing their own crescent symbols.

Raye was having a peaceful day at the temple. Chad was with
Grandpa somewhere; everything was quiet till a group of visitors
came.  A young women with a child and several animals.

Walking up to Raye her once good friend and Solider of Fire, Serena
said, "I would like to make a donation to this temple." Serena's hand
held Serrie and Arvad had perched on her shoulder while Alden stood
atop Albert's back. While this was happening, Grandpa Hino had
came over and invited Serena in for tea. Accepting the invitation
Serena left Serrie in the front of the temple to play with the guardians.
Raye went off to prepare for tea with Chad.

Serrie was then alone with the guardians in the front yard. "I really
hate this fa硤e, We are highly developed animals and now we are
suppose to act like we are of a baser nature!" complained Alden
standing on the ground looking disgusted. "Quit your complaining
squirrel, Princess will tell what there is to know when she is ready.
Now all we have to do is be sure that Serrie is safe and give advice
if necessary." Countered back Arvad from his perch from the tree.
Suddenly a light from Serrie's hand emanated. As the other
guardians watch in amazement it formed itself into a ball of light.
With a laugh Serrie began playing around with it. Tossing it to
Albert, Serrie began a game of catch. Childish Laughter and
barking soon filled the air as the rest of the guardians joined in
with the game. But as the guardians and the child was playing
none of them noticed someone staring at them from behind a bush.

Wondering at what sort of power the child has or who those talking
animals like her was, Diana turned away fully intended to tell this to
her lady as well as the others. Running as fast as her half-developed
legs can carry her she crashed into someone and was picked up.
Puzzled she started mewing but when she looked up to her kitty
shock she saw that it was Pluto. Putting a finger to her lips Pluto
told Diana to be quiet as they continue to watch the child.  When
Pluto started walking away unnoticed by the others, Diana said,
"Puu we have to tell the others what we have seen." "I don't think
we should do that for maybe the time is not right for telling. How
can you know what consequence it will bring? I am sure that
when the time is right the others will know." "But Puu when will
I be able to tell?" "I am not sure little one for I have left the Time
Gate joining the Time Stream. When a Guardian of Time leaves
her post he or she will only be a mere human not knowing what
is it to come until he or she goes back to her own post. Even if
I know I can't say anything because of what the consequences it
might bring. So now you know that we can't do anything about this
until the time is right." "Okay whatever you say Puu or should I call
you Celia?"

"I would like to donate $10,500 American dollars to this temple," said
Selene offering an amount. "That is a generous amount Ms. Selene
but why a stranger like you give money to this temple while you can
give it to others far better then the Cherry Hill Temple?" Inquired
Grandpa while pouring more tea out for his guest and himself while
Chad and Raye sat nearby gaping at the amount knowing that this
was a hefty amount even by American standards. "Let's just say
that I want to give this in memory of a very close friend of mine. She
loved this temple when she was younger having many memories here
as well. It is her wish that I do so." "Who is this person that you speak
of?" asked Grandpa calmly. "Her name was Serena Usagi Tuskino."
Replied Selene. "What happened to her?" cried Raye jumping up.
Selene's face turned crestfallen as she said; "Serena died in a car
accident 3 years ago." Shocked Raye turned and ran out of the room.
Chad then excused himself going to comfort Raye." Grandpa could
only look shock apologizing as he said, "Serena was a close friend
of my Granddaughter when she disappear 8 years ago, so it is
expected that she would act this way." "I know. Thank you for your
tea Grandpa Hino. I should be taking my leave now that business is
concluded here. You would receive my check in 2 days. Also I would
like to invite your family and any of Serena's friends to the grand
opening of my building." Handing Grandpa an engraved invitation
for the grand opening in a month, Selene left the temple.

Outside Selene went over to Serrie and the others. Noticing that
Serrie played with a strange ball Serena decided to ask about it
later. When Selene said that Serena had died it was to be as an
excuse for her new identity. But now there was one more place
for her to go which was the Tuskino's home.

When hearing the news that Serena was dead Raye ran off to her
room. Pulling out her communicator Raye said, "Emergency meeting
now!" Willing herself not to cry Raye putted her communicator away
knowing that Chad was outside. Opening the door Raye knew that
Chad was worried about her. Putting on a weak smile Raye said,
"Don't worry I am okay. The others will be here soon. I be all right.
We are still going to the movies tomorrow." Chad nodded and said,
"Okay Raye but if you need me I will be there." Leaning over Chad
kissed Raye on the forehead and walked away leaving his girlfriend
to think things over. Usually this would have made Raye blush but
today it provoked no action from her.

The senshi all gathered an hour later, Mina who was walking on
cloud nine could only talk to Lita about Jacob while Amy sat by
staring into space. The others were all talking and laughing until
Raye came out from the temple. Raye then said to the others in
a quiet tone, "Serena is dead." The mood of the others turned
into shock as all the other Scouts stared at Raye speechless,
Darien asked in a choked voice, "How and from who did you
heard this news from?" "Ms. Selene came to the temple today
and said?." After finishing the story of what had happened none
of the senshi could say anything until a voice said,  "If the future
is changed then Neo-Princess Serenity will not be here today. The
women you call Selene is not telling the whole truth." Turning
around the other senshi saw Celia holding Diana in her arms." Running
forward Rena hugged Celia, while Nerrisa spoke up quietly, "This might
 be true. We do not know if Serena is dead or alive. Perhaps if we wait
for a bit and investigate more on this matter. I mean how can we know
for sure if this woman is who she might be." "I agree with Nerrisa, We
should start investigating if this turns serious." Voiced Allie. Luna
turning to Amy asked, "Amy what is the matter with you today. Usually
you have something to say in a time like this. Is there any thing wrong?"
"There is nothing to worry about it's only that Greg and I broke up. I'll be
all right soon. There are much important things to worry at hand now."
Amy said as the others crowded around worried.  "Also the Starlights
are on earth again." Continued Amy.  "You mean Tim and the others
are back. Is there anything wrong?" "There is nothing to worry about
Luna. They are just here on vacation." "That's a relief for once. Now
that you have told us Amy, I feel we should start planning an
investigation at once." Spoke Artemis from his perch besides Luna.
"Puu is there anything you can do to tell us about what is to happen
without breaking the rules?" Spoke up Rena after she greeted her
oldest friend. As the other Scouts looked at Celia she replied, "I am
truly sorry but I can't for now that I joined the Time Stream. I have just
lost my powers as Guardian of Time till I return to the Time Gate."
"Okay then that plan won't work I suggest we search for someone that
could tap into the businesses of Selene. Someone like Mina." Said
Artemis slyly staring over at Mina who turned red when the other
senshi looked at her. "Hey! I will not be willing to do this! This is an
important job opportunity for me and you expect me to spy! What
happens if I get caught? Fired?  No way!" said Mina defensively."
"Ok, ok. We think of another idea, Right Artemis." Cutted in Luna
looking at Artemis with an evil eye, Artemis gulped and looked away
as the others smiled at the dilemma one of their cat guardians were
having. Finally all the senshi started to plan on what to do.

Things were going on smoothly as Seraphina reported back to Gannon.
She needed extra youmas and Gannon was willing to provide it if it had
results. With that out of the way Seraphina could start working to gain a
more foothold on her alter-identity as Sarah Whittle.

Going back to the mansion first Serena dropped off the guardians saying
that she would go only with Serrie. Driving slowly Serena finally reached
her old home in the Jubban District. Knocking on the door to her old home
Serena waited with Serrie until the door opened to reveal her mother's Irene
Tuskino's face.

-Serenity is only a clothing line in this story so if any of you thought
that
I
would name Serena's building Serenity then you are wrong.
-I am not sure of what last name Raye's grandpa has so I wrote the
surname of Hino.
-I am not sure of what American Currency is compared to the Japanese
yen so I wrote out an American amount.
-I suppose you can count the guardians and the guards as a part of
Serena's family now that she put her alter identity into plan.
-I will be alternating between the name uses of Selene and Serena but
they will both be the same people.
