The Legend of the Moon By: Aphrael aphrael@edsamail.com.ph Rating: G I made a very, very big mistake. I asked my sister to submit the part two of The Legend of the Moon. She sent the draft of part three instead. AAAAAHHHHHH! I only saw it because I don't have much time to surf the net. I'm so ashamed!!!! Can't show my face here. AHHHHH!!1 Disclaimer: Sailormoon is not mine... It belongs to people who are talented and rich. Is that an adequate disclaimer? ********** Every king, baron, duke, laird, almost every leader has their own loyal subjects. The Kingdom of the Earth has the Generals. Many centuries has passed and the descendants of each general each served the Terran Throne. Each General was given a necklace with a stone pendant. Since the stone were mined from the ground, the necklaces symbolizes their connection and loyalty to the planet Earth. Nobody may wear the necklaces other than the descendant of the First Generals. Others who may try to wear them will die instantly upon sealing the lock of the necklace on their necks. Once worn, each necklace cannot be unclasped. Only in death of the General wearing the neacklace will it be unlocked. This stone necklace would be passed on to the General's heir the day he dies. The Generals have always been on the Terran King's side. Always have been, and always will be... Or so everyone thought. Then destruction struck. On the First Age of Silver Moonlight, the Generals, as envoys of the King of the Earth, were on the Moon Kingdom to discuss an alliance with the Queen of the Moon. Then the Dark Kingdom attacked the moon for the first time. It was an easy battle. Dark Kingdom is ill-equiped for the Moon's army. And with the help of the Generals, the moonites had easily countered the enemy's attacks. But in every battle, both parties have their losses. The Generals were separated and their spaceship that they used to get to the moon was destroyed. Three of the Generals lost their memories and only the leader, bearing the stone malachite, retained his. He searched for days for his comrads. He cannot go back to earth and face the king without the other Generals. But all his efforts were for naught. He couldn't find his comrads. Then suddenly, the Seer of the Wise Men had a vision. Centuries would come, but there would come a time and the Prince of Earth would come. And on his coming would only be the time that the Generals be back together. So, the leader vowed to wait for the Prince. He vowed that on the day the Prince came, the generals would stand by his side again. They would fight for him to the death... to the death. -Myths on the Terran Royal Guards, the Generals -------- 'My God, she's beautiful.' In front of him, her dress colored white and flowing with the wind, her head slightly bowed, her hands clasped the flowers she hold in fright, what was surely the most exquisite creature in the universe. It's a good thing that she's not looking at Darien right now or she'd see the great Prince with his mouth hanging open with awe of her beauty. She's an angel. The moments that she took to calm her nerves gave Darien the opportunity to recover and close his mouth. When she finally looked at Darien, he saw her eyes that were as blue as the color of the sky...color that could turn from the lightest blue of a calm sea to the deepest and stormy blue of a storm when she's angry. And right now, she's very angry. She still hasn't looked at Darien. "You! You stupid, insolent oaf. Don't you even know how to drive a horse so that you don't run into people? You almost killed me, you jerk..." When, Serena looked at the face of the man who almost killed her, she stopped in mid sentence. And Darien looked smugly as the color drained from her face. And when she recovered from her shock, her face turned bright red. 'My God, he's beautiful. And those must be the deepest blue eyes I have ever seen.' He must be a gift sent from heaven. Since everybody was too busy calming their nerves, they didn't notice that Cyrix and Luna had gone off to a corner, and looked as if in deep conversation. "Is she the one?" Cyrix asked. Luna nodded. "Yes. Is that the prince? Boy, they're gonna have an interesting marriage." "I agree. Does she know about her true identity?" "No. I thought it was best for her not to know." "Good. Don't tell them until it is necessary." "Come on, let's go back before there is permanent damage done." Whatever first impressions and hopes of a romance Darien had, they quickly evaporated into distaste. The angel that he thought she was, was actually the devil's own. "Hold it, hold it! You should even feel lucky that I'm talking to you! Don't you know that I am the Terran Prince who'll save this whole kingdom of craters?" And what Rena thought was a heavenly gift was actually a gift from hell. "Terran Prince? Yeah, right. If YOU're the Terran Prince then I'm the Princess of the Moon." "Go, girl!" Lexia cheered. Darien shuddered. "Don't say that. Don't even think about it. The thought that you could be the Moon Princess and I'm going to marry you gives me the creeps." Xenon shouted, "That's my boy. Show that girl's what you've got." "If I were the Princess, I'd kill myself before I marry the likes of you." "I second the motion. Xenon, another point for our side," Lexia said happily. "Well, the game isn't over yet," Xenon replied. Luna interrupted the fighting. "Well, it certainly is over now. Rena, be kind to the man. Hello, Lexia. Good to see again." Rena couldn't believe her ears. "But Luna, that man almost killed us by running us over." Darien interrupted defensively. "Well, that wouldn't happen if you're not running in the middle of the road." Rena's temper came back with a force. "You... you dark haired monster...I'll..." "You'll start learning how to get along with that dark haired monster because we're joining them," Luna interjected. "What!?!" Darien and Rena said in unison. Xenon and Amiel looked at each other. "Xenon, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" "Yes, Amiel. This is going to be one long of a journey. A long, long journey..." ******** "So the great Terran Prince has finally arrived..." "My Queen, do you want me to kill the earthling?" Beryl roared. "No! If you fail to kill him, you'll just let Cyrix know that I now know about the Prince and he'd be more careful to conceal his operations and location to us. Then, we'd never find that blond bitch of a princess, then we'd never get our hands on that precious Silver Imperium Crystal." "Oh yes, Your Highness. I forgot about the crystal." "Of course, you did. You've got a maggot for a brain. Let's just see what this Prince can do. What can he do..." ******** "What can I do?" Cyrix gave Darien an icy glare. "You, young man, have done enough help for one day. You helped delay us in our journey by breaking the wagon's wheel. Now, we've got to stay in this old village in the middle of nowhere for the night. I can't believe fate had given me an idiot for a Terran Prince!" "Do you make it a habit of running over people, or it is just that you couldn't help yourself?" Rena asked innocently. Darien glared at Rena. "It was an accident. If this stupid scholar and his stupid fortune teller companion didn't get in the way, I wouldn't have run through that big rock and break the wagon wheel," Darien said defensively. "What are you doing in the middle of the road, staring at the sky? Star gazing? By the way, fortune teller, are you by any chance a distant relative of Lexia? You certainly have the same taste in clothes. You know, weird robes, pointed hats" "Earthling, are you trying to be funny?" Lexia glared at Darien. "Hey, Lexia. You still haven't explained to me how you became a Wise Man of the Light. Don't tell me you're gay." Amiel stiffled a laugh. "For you infromation earthling, I am not gay! It just happens that I am the best in the mystical arts and that I am a descendant of First Wise Man of Mystics that they made me a Wise Man! And the guys couldn't change their name to 'Wise Men and Woman of the Light' because they were called 'Wise Men of the Light' since the dawn of time. Now that you know, if you ever insinuated that I am a gay, I'll put a curse on that wicked soul of yours!" With that, Lexia stomped away angrily. The scholar, laughed at that, "You know, you shouldn't get at her bad side. She looks vicious." "Let me introduce ourselves," the fortune teller said. "This is Zoicite, my ever studious, bookish and ever boring friend, and I'm Nephrite. Actually, I'm an astrologer and not a fortune teller." "I stand corrected," Darien said lamely. "I see that you're not enthusiastic about astronomy or astrology," Nephrite commented. "Zoicite and I have been studying the stars for day. Because according to my studies, that in this fortnight...there's going to be a major happening in the universe... I don't know what kind of happening but I think it has a connection with the Lunar eclipse that happened the other night... maybe it was..." "Ahhhhhhhh!" Cyrix suddenly cried. Everybody suddenly looked at Cyrix. Cyrix is jumping with glee. "Can't you see?! Two of the crystals is glowing!" Xenon and Cyrix jumped with joy. Amiel and Lexia hugged each other. When they realized what they're doing, they jumped away from each other with crimson faces. Darien laughed. "Lexia, is that a blush I'm seeing on your face?" Darien asked innocently. Lexia glared at Darien. "Shut up, earthling." The two strangers looked dumbfounded. "What is goin' on here? Are you sure you guys have never been admitted to a mental institution somewhere?" Zoicite asked. At that, Luna intervened. "Since my companions were beside themselves with happiness, let me explain. Tell me, do you happen to be descendants of the Nephrite the Terrible and Zoicite the Great?" Cyrix, having recovered, joined the questioning. "And are you two each wearing a crystal necklace bearing these stones?" He showed them the crystal of the Generals' necklace. "H -how? How did you..." Nephrite stammered. "A -are you... I -is this a..." Zoicite followed. "I'll take that as a yes. Join the club. You're coming with us," Xenon said with a smile. ******** Two hours later... "Why can't I drive?" Darien complained. After two accidents, the Wise Men decided that he is unfit to handle the reins of the wagon. Now, Darien has been relegated to the position of a passenger. It wasn't so bad if not for the blond-haired brat. He has to endure Rena's company. 'If only her manners were as good as her looks...' Amiel answered for the group. "Darien, if we are going to save the moon people, we have to stay alive until the day we accomplished the job. Your handling of the reins leaves little to be desired... not to mention a threat to our sanity and our lives. Now, shut up and leave the reins to the two Generals." Darien scowled in return. Then suddenly, the wagon jeered to a quick stop. The passengers were jumbled like a tossed salad in the back. Rena's feet is in Darien's face, Darien's elbow is jabbing Cyrix's face, Lexia's foot is on Amiel's stomach, and so on. "What the hell's wrong now, Nephrite?" Xenon growled. When they all went outside the wagon, they saw a blond haired girl who looked very much like Serena covered in mud from the accident. "No, not again," Amiel groaned. ********************************************************************** Email me, people.
