Title: From Thy Kingdoms Come - Chapter 2 Author: Aquamarine Angel Edited by: Crescent Moon E-mail Address: aquamarineangel@sailormoon.com Web Address: http://www.geocities.com/universe_guardians Rating: PG ____________________________________________________________________ When Sara hit the ground she gasped in pain. Her spine ached, and her head hurt to no end. But Sara could handle it. She was determined to live, and punish the evil creature that had pined her to the floor by her shoulders. The problem was that aside from the creatures eyes the thing could have been human. Perhaps it was. Sara couldn't kill a human, but she could defend herself. Sara brought up her knee and knee-ed the creature right were it counts. (You do know what I mean right?) The red-eyed man roared in pain and anger, but Sara got the intended reaction. The thing rolled off of her and gave her the chance she needed to stand up and take a fighting stance. When she had been younger she had taken a class in karate. She intended to use the skills she had learned now. The man quickly raised himself to his feet. He was trembling with anger. He connected his evil gaze with her eyes. "Who...what are you?" Sara asked. She took note of the tremble in her voice. "I'm Demonmight. That is all you need to know before you die," Demonmight told her. Then he charged at her. She quickly jumped out of the way, rolled on the ground, and leaped to her feet. Then she jumped towards him and delivered a kick to the side of his head. She poured all her strength into the kick, and used such skill, swiftness, and accuracy that she even amazed herself. Demonmight fell to the ground unconscious. He was temporarily not of concern. Sara would have to think of what to do about Demonmight later. For now more urgent business summoned her. She rushed towards the door. Throughout her little battle she had been vaguely aware that another life-and-death fight was taking place on the other side of the door. Though Sara knew the other battle was much more dangerous. The noise sounded like bombs going off. Sara quietly opened the door, and glanced around. She was shocked at what she saw. Scorch marks were all over the room. In the center of the room two people were fighting with magic. One person was male and the other was female. The male was obviously the enemy. Everything about him radiated evil. The thing is, Sara recognized him. He was Eric Eastman. He was different though. Dark energy surrounded him, and he no longer seemed arrogant. He only seemed dangerous. He was wearing a black uniform with red trim. His brown eyes had flakes of red in them. His form of attack was throwing red and black orbs of energy. The female fought bravely, and carefully. She seemed to plan out her every move before doing it. She wore a very odd outfit. It appeared to be some sort of sailor suit. The suit had a black skirt, collar, and choker. There was a dark-purple bow on the back of the uniform right were the skirt met the top shirt. Another dark- purple bow was placed right below the collar. The woman wore black knee-boots. She had a gold tiara with a black jewel on her forehead. She had magenta eyes, and green hair. She carried a staff in her gloved hands. Her attacks came from the staff. The woman appeared to be losing. She was bleeding badly, and her uniform was ripped. The person she had known as Eric Eastman wasn't even scratched. She needed to help. But how? Then in a split second she had formed a plan. As the two opponents continued to fight, the woman noticed her. Sara noticed some relief wash into the woman's eyes. Sara indicated what she wanted the woman to do. The woman nodded in agreement, and slowly carried out the plan. Every move the woman made forced the man closer to the door, until finally Eric stood right in front of the door, with his back facing the door. Sara reacted instantly. She silently rush up behind him and kicked him in the back with all her might. Eric hadn't been expecting this, so the next thing he knew he was sprawled face done on the floor. He knew he had been defeated, and that he would be killed if he stayed where he was, so he jumped to his feet and teleported away. To bad he knew he'd be punished for not killing that blasted sailor. After the man disappeared, the woman turned to Sara and smiled. "Thank you. Your skills are remarkable, though I never doubted you. After all, you were born a fighter," the woman said. "What are you talking about? Who are you?" Sara asked. She was feeling very confused. "Right now I'm known as Sailor Pluto, guardian of time. Though I'm sometimes known as Susanna Peterson or Setsuna. And what I mean is you're the one I've been looking for. You're the princess of the stars. Your Sailor Star, one of the four warriors that will save the world from evil," Pluto explained calmly. "What are you talking about!?! I'm Sara Stormwell, not Xena, Warrior Princess. Personally I think you're crazy," Sara told Sailor Pluto. "Crazy? Tell me, if someone had told you that what happened today was going to happen, would you have called that person crazy?" Pluto asked. "Well, yes. I guess so," Sara replied. "Well, then why do you think I'm crazy? I can prove to you that you're the star princess. Do you want me to?" Pluto asked. "Yes, I would," Sara answered. She was curious to find out how Pluto intended to prove that she was a warrior princess. Sara watched as Pluto pulled a strange looking stick right out of thin air. The stick was silver and had a gold star on the top of it. It was very odd looking. Pluto handed the stick to her. Sara took it and took a closer look at it. "That is a transformation wand. If you really are the star princess, if you put it high into the air, and shout 'Twinkling Starlight Transform' you'll become Sailor Star. Only the star princess can become Sailor Star. Try it," Pluto explained. Sara looked at Pluto strangely, and then looked back down at the wand. She shrugged her shoulders. She might as well do it and get things over with. She still had to deal with Demonmight. She threw up her hand while holding the wand. "TWINKLE STARLIGHT TRANSFORM!" Sara yelled out. She felt her eyes close up automatically. She felt weightless as her body lifted off the ground and started to do a series of turns. A bright silver light surrounded her. Ribbons embraced her body and formed silver sandals on her feet that had ribbons circling her leg right up to her knee. The ribbons formed a white body suit, and a silver skirt, collar, and choker appeared. Gold bows formed in the exact places Pluto's bows were. A silver tiara with a gold jewel appeared on her forehead. Her black hair turned silver and was French braided with gold ribbons down her back. After that elbow gloves with silver trim appeared. Then she was gently lowered down to the ground. The amazing thing was that all these changes occurred in less than a minute. When the transformation was done Sara looked down at herself, and felt faint. She certainly believed Pluto now. That was unfortunate. Sara had enjoyed living a normal life. She looked back up at Pluto. "There is a sort of a demon unconscious outside the door. We should take of that and then maybe you could give me a run down of what my mission is," Sara, now Sailor Star, said quietly. Pluto nodded and walked through the door with Sailor Star following close behind. Demonmight hadn't moved an inch, but he appeared to be beginning to wake up. Pluto took one look at him and then turned back to Star. "What?" Star asked. "Well, I think we should heal him. I think he was once human, but I can't heal people. You can," Pluto informed. "How do I go about doing that?" Star questioned. "Look deep inside you, and the words will come to you," Pluto explained. Star did what she was told. She searched the depths of her mind until the she finally figured out the healing words. "SHOOTING STAR HEALING LIGHT!" Star cried out. She did a series of arm movements, twists, and turns as she said it. After the words came the power. A blue light flew from her finger tips. The light surrounded Demonmight and went right inside of him. Then the light returned to Star's finger tips. Pluto and Star watched as Demonmight's eyes flew open. They were no longer red, but green. He groaned and sat up. He looked straight at Star. "Thank you. Now I can go back to being ordinary Devan. I'll always remember what you did for me. If there is anything I can ever do for you please contact me," Devan said smiling. "I thank you. Now, you should go back home and continue with your life right where you left off," Star commanded. Devan nodded and grinned. Then he got up and walked out of the observatory without looking back. "Nice job. Now it's time to tell you your mission," Pluto said. Star looked at her. "But not here. How would you like to come with me to the gate?" "I'd like to, but.....what about the people from the banquet? Will I be coming back?" Star asked, concerned. "They're all going to be just fine. As for coming back, well.....let's just say your going to be missing for a while," Pluto answered. Then she turned around and opened up the time stream. "Follow me." Star took one last look at everyone in the room, and then stepped into the time stream after Pluto. END OF CHAPTER 2
