Title: From Thy Kingdoms Come - Chapter 7 Author: Aquamarine Angel Edited by: Crescent Moon Rating: G E-mail: aquamarineangel@sailormoon.com Web page: http://www.geocities.com/universe_guardians ____________________________________________________________________________ "Aquila? Where did Sara go?" Pluto asked. She had just arrived back at the time gate with the twin soldiers of Earth. She wanted to introduce them to the princess of the stars. Or, rather, reaquint them with their best friend from the moon kingdom. Unfortunetly, after searching her house and the surrounding area she still had not located Princess Lyrae. She was beginning to be worried. "Well... Umm..." the creamy cat mumbled. Something was most definetly going on. Pluto was getting extremely adgitated and concerned. "Just spit it out will you!" Pluto exclaimed. "Somniorum, tell her, please. I can't say it!" Aquila begged her male counterpart. She was afraid of the wrath of the commander of time. "Sorry to break it to you, Lady Pluto, but Aquila lost her. Lyrae wouldn't listen to reason. She thought that she could help with the problem by going back to Earth undercover. We're not completely sure whrere she is on Earth. An English speaking country, certainly. I tell you she is so incredibly stubborn-" Somniorum explained. Sailor Pluto didn't need to hear more of that cats babbling. She needed facts. "How did she get back to Earth? I locked the gate behind me." "Well, it was very astonishing, actually. She was exploring her Lunar Space Pockett when she found one of those small crystal time keys. She used that," Aquila said in a matter-of-fact tone. "I never knew she had one..." "I'm so stupid! All the Kingdom Scouts have one that is tuned into their thoughts. All they have to do is think about where they want to go, and the time period in order to go there. While I was training her those two weeks she wanted to go with to find her fellow soldiers. When I said no... I'm so stupid! Have you tried tracking her?" "Of course! We have paws though. We were unable to work the knobs and switches," Aquila informed. "You used to be able to work the equipment just fine! What happened?!" "We were houspets for awhile. We got lazy," Somniorum said, embarassed. Pluto smacked the top of her head against her palm in exasperation. Lunar Cats or no, they were just like ordinary animals sometimes. Silly creatures. "I'm terribly sorry about this, Lady Pluto. I'll never let anything like this happen agin, I swear!" Aquila exclaimed. She was getting to be a very distraught cat. Pluto sighed. It couldn't be helped. There was no way she could go back in time to prevent Lyrae from running away. That might skrew up the time line. Creating a paradox would just make things go from bad to worse. There was only one thing left to do. "Don't worry about it. Help me fix it! Somniorum, go find Ceros. Tell her to bring Prince Terran and Princess Terra to the tracking room," Pluto commanded. "Aquila, come with me and help me get the equipment running. There is no time to waste!" * * * Meanwhile * * * "Why we're here? This should be good," Trever muttered under his breath. Sara elbowed him in the stomache. She had no desire for the general of darkness to notice them. They were in enough danger as things were. Trever gave Sara an apoligetic look and returned his attension to that of the man in charge. He looked like he was preparing to give that long and painful speech that he had spared them from only moments before. The general cleared his throaght and begane to speek. "I am General Rigel of the Galaxy of Doom. I am looking for humans, like yourselves, who have an interest in magic and ways other than that of modern day Earth. My master is looking to recruite you all as spies and soldiers in our armies. If you join us now, you will recive powers beyond your wildest dreams... I assure you, you will be well rewarded for your pains. If you refuse our offer, you will be punished. You will live the rest of you days in terror. You will never know a day without torment! So, will you join us freely? Or do I have to show you exactly what hell is like?" General Rigel looked very calm as he explained what thier choices were. Now he looked very menacing. It was as if he was daring someone to make a wrong move - so that he could make an example of it. He wanted to show off his strength and will. No one moved. Sara and Trever were unsure of what to say. *At least we know where the evil force is from, now...* Sara thought, weakly. She was terrified. She didn't know what to do. She braced herself against Trever and felt slightly better when he placed his arm around her. After a few moments of close inspection by General Rigel, he blasted a door open. Through the door several semi-human looking creatures marched in. They efficiantly surrounded the frightened terrans and started herding them out the door. "This can't be good...." Trever commented, softly in Sara's ear. "I hope you have a plan, because I don't...." There was no emotion revealed in his voice. *How do men hide their emotions so well? It's amazing.* Sara thought, amused. Then her mind begane to create a list of all the terrible things that might happen to them in the minutes to come... *Oh Pluto, where are you!* END OF CHAPTER 7
