REMEMBER ME ALWAYS PROLOGUE Notes: all the usual disclaimers apply. I do not own Sailor Moon, or any part there of. The story line is mine, hopefully it doesn't resemble any one else's too much. This is my first fanfic, so bear with me, and feel free to comment, good or bad. *************************** The Past: Silver Millennium 10 year old Prince Christoph Diamondo of the moon Sectia, of the Neblyus galaxy, stared at the sleeping infant in her cradle. She had a mess of blond curls atop her small head, and her thought that her eyes would be blue, just like her mother's. "You mean I have to marry her?" young Diamond, as he was often called, asked flatly. "But she's just a baby." "You won't be marrying her until she comes of age. She was only born a few days ago, and is still very new to the world." Queen Serenity spoke softly to the young prince. This is the prince that my husband chose for our Princess Serenity before he died, the queen thought to herself. And, at the time, she had agreed with him. He was a hansom boy, with his shaggy white hair and his peculiar, but most striking amethyst eyes. He stood very proudly next to the infant princess' cradle, and yet the queen still had some reservations about the whole thing. Unfortunately, there was little more she could do than what she has already asked of the prince's family. Princess Serenity would only see Prince Diamond at social events. This would give her a chance to get to know him without any pressure. Just then, baby Serenity, called Serena to cause less confusion, opened her large eyes and looked directly at Prince Diamond. He looked deep into golden lash fringed blue eyes and fell instantly under her spell. Smiling to himself, Diamond knew that this princess was what he wanted, and she was his. ******************************** Silver Millennium: 14 years later "What do you mean Princess Serenity has fallen in love with a prince from Earth?!" 24 year old Prince Diamond roared. "She was promised to me by Queen Serenity herself!" Diamond stood in the middle of his private chamber, shoulders heaving. His hair, overly long and somewhat shaggy as always, fell just past his ears, his odd amethyst eyes practically sparking with his anger. As usual, he was dressed in his white shirt with his family's design, in blue instead of black, white slacks, and his ever-present cape. "Leave me! I want to be a lone." He commanded. Once everyone had left, he began to pace the length of the room. Serena was promised to me, dam it! I stayed away from her, seeing her only as the social events and balls. I didn't push her for anything more than her friendship, just as Queen Serenity asked, and this is how I am repaid!?! Diamond thought. "Princess Serenity is mine!" he yelled. "And one way or another," Diamond growled, "I always get what I want!" @->----- So, what do you think? PLEASE feel free to send me your comments, Good or bad, any grips, complaints, or whatever else.
