Part 1: The Battle

Walking to the library, I recalled from my memory
my homework assignments.

<Not much to do tonight, afterward maybe I'll have time
to finish that textbook on metaphysics...>

Reaching my destination, I walked into the quiet
surroundings and sat down at a nearby table and
prepared to go to work on my math.

While I was hard at work on my Algebra homework,
something in my backpack started beeping.  Startled
out of deep thought, I picked up my communicator
and saw Mina on the screen, or rather Sailor Venus.

"What's up, Venus?"

"Negamoon attack in the park, Amy, hurry over, we
need that scanner and computer of yours."

"Right, I'm on my way."

Packing my books hastily, I received a stern look from
the librarian as I noisily headed out the door.

Running into an abandoned alleyway I pulled out my
transformation stick and transformed.

"MERCURY STAR POWER!"

The feeling of my planet's magic rushed over me as
I changed from a normal school girl to a warrior for
justice.  Blue shimmering waves covered my body
turning into my warrior's uniform.

Taking no time to lose, I started to run toward
the park, switching my VR visor on to start gathering
information about our latest enemy.

Reaching the park, I saw the other Senshi, with them
was a droid of the Negamoon.  It was blasting power
toward them, the Senshi barely avoiding its power.
 The droid itself looked eerily human-like, with a normal
human looking body.  From a quick glance, it appeared to
be female with shaggy blond hair hanging in her eyes.
The only thing that showed she was from the Negaverse
was her supernatural abilities.

Luna and Artemis watched from the distance, safely out
of range of the battle.  Both were watching with interest
and concern.

A startled cry caused me to look toward the battle scene.
Sailor Venus fell on the ground, as she dodged the droid's
attack.  Taking advantage of her current position, the creature
started to attack Venus.

"SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!"

The Negamoon's droid froze as my water froze it temporarily,
as Venus got to her feet.

"Mercury!"

"Venus said you guys needed my help,"  I said to the other
three girls.

As the droid started to recover, Sailor Moon prepared her
Moon Scepter attack.  But her attack taking too long, the
creature dodged the crescent beams of power and took out a
black oracle.

"You won't defeat my by far, Sailor Brats!"

"You know," Jupiter muttered, "their name calling is getting
*really* repetitive."

"I know," I replied as I busily tapped on my computer,
gathering the information of the battle.  This should help the
program I've been working on for the pattern of attacks.

Multiple digits and symbols appeared on the screen as the
information downloaded onto the hard drive.

"Everyone, LOOK OUT!"  Luna cried.

I glanced up in time to see the oracle pulsing with black
energy as it began to envelop us.  It coursed through my
body, causing immense amounts of pain.  I dropped my
computer as I fell unconscious to the ground, as well as the
others.  My computer continued to download and also began
to record the attack taking place.

The droid's eerie laugh filled the park as she disappeared into
a portal of negative energy.

"I'll be back for the Imperium Crystal, later.  Right now I'll go
tell my master how our plans are going, since it seems you
won't be getting up for a while."

Her laugh started up again as the portal disappeared from
the park, her laughter echoing on the slight breeze that coursed
through the park.

Now, the only things remaining in the park were the
unconscious bodies of five young women and two worried cats.
A dark figure leapt down from the treetops as it seemed to go to
assist the cats.

Author's Notes:

Okay, okay, I know this isn't one of my best works, but I needed
to write the story while all the inspiration was with me.  If you liked
it, great!  (E-mail me and tell me)  "Princesses of the Past" and
"Training Camp" are both low on ideas,  e-mail me and give me the
encouragement I need for writing, please!  Another story should
come out soon, called "A Simple Wish..."
