True Love An Usagi and Mamoru Romance ~Paths intertwined, destinies sought.~ Well minna here is the second part to my story. This part still doesn't have any action in it, but its sad and you see Mamoru as a different person in this one for a moment. I still don't know how long I'm going to make this story. Hopefully not to long so you don't have to wait ages for each new part to come out, but by the way the story is going, I think a lot of detail is going to be needed. Thanks to Yuri9 and Lianne! Go read her stories! Please email me your comments and suggestions!!!! I would love to hear what you all think! My address is Fushigi23@hotmail.com Arigato :) Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon, I'm just borrowing the characters! This is my own line though. I hope! Part 2 PG-13 Tears "Usako, Usako where are you?" Mamoru was surrounded by darkness, his legs felt like they were lead. His steps began to slow but he felt the urge to keep on going. Usako needed him. "Usako! Usako! Answer me! Usako!" Then he heard a faint voice. Mamoru strained to listen. "Mamo-chan!" The voice was coming from behind him. He turned and saw Usagi. Tears were streaming down her face and Mamoru felt his heart break as each one fell. "Mamo-chan help me! I'm so scared!" She started to cry harder. "Usako I'm coming, I''m coming! Don't be afraid!" Mamoru began to pump his legs furiously trying to get them to move faster. He soon realized that with every step he took towards his beloved, she would move back just beyond his reach. "Mamo-chan help me, please, it wants me to hurt me!" Mamoru reached out for her and Usagi reached for him but suddenly he was hurled back into darkness. "USAKO!" The next thing he saw was Usagi's face, but it wasn't her face, at least not the one he knew. Her eyes were cold and empty and her usually smiling lips were in a tight line. "Usako." The words that came out of Usagi's mouth then made him recoil and wince. "Mamoru why didn't you save me? You left me to die!" "Usako, I never... never would do such a thing!" "YOU did though and don't call me Usako, I hate that name! I hate you!" Mamoru never felt so much pain like he did when Usagi said those three words. "Usako, err Usagi, gomen nasai! I know I wasn't there for you and it hurts because I wasn't there to protect you, gomen." Usagi was still looking at him with fury in her eyes. 'His sweet Usako. What could of happened to make her so cold.' He thought. Usagi began to fade from his sight but those three words lingered and hung in the air covering him like a blanket. "Usako don't leave me!.... USAKO!" Once again Mamoru was thrust into darkness and he could no longer hear her voice. "Mamo-chan I'm here, I won't leave you. Just open your eyes Mamo-chan." Mamrou felt warm all of the sudden, someone was calling his name. Mamoru slowly opened his eyes. A blurry face was hovering over him. The mouth was moving but he could not hear the words coming out. Suddenly the face became clearer and he could see and hear again. "Mamo-chan!" Mamoru blinked. "Usako?" "Oh Mamo-chan you're ok! I was so scared because you wouldn't wake up." Mamoru could see unshed tears sparkling in the depths of Usagi's eyes threatening to spillover. Mamoru blinked again. Clearing his throat he asked, "Usako are you real?" Usagi gave him a confuse look. Then he asked another question "Do you hate me?" He held his breath. He heard Usagi breath in. "Baka of course I'm real and how could you ask such a thing? I love you and I will always love you. Are you sure you're ok Mamo-chan?" "Gomen Usako, but I......but I just don't know whats real or not anymore." After saying that Mamoru felt a huge tear roll down his cheek and he started to cry. Usagi reeled back shocked at what she was seeing but quickly recovered. She gathered Mamoru in her arms like a child and placed his head against her breast. Usagi's hands began to stroke Mamoru's hair and she talked trying to sooth him with her gentle words. "Mamo-chan I'm here, its ok I'm here." Mamoru's crying began to subside, "Usako... Usako don't leave me. I need you to survive." "Mamo-chan I won't ever leave you. You're in my heart. Be strong Mamo-chan." Mamoru's crying had stopped completely and realizing where he was, he reached out and pulled Usagi into his arms. Usagi squeaked but settled herself comfortably within the circle of his arms. "Mamo-chan, daijobu?" Mamoru looked down to see Usagi looking at him with love in her eyes. They continued to look at each other and their breaths began to slow. Soon they were breathing in rythem and the faces began to inch towards to each other. Mamoru felt Usagi's warm lips touch his own. At first the kiss was soft and tender but soon all his fears welled up making him kiss her more passionatly. Holding her tight against him, the kiss threatened to sweep both of them away. "Errr, a-hem." Motoki stood in the doorway not wanting to disturb the tender scene. Mamoru broke away when he heard a voice. Usagi's eyes were glazed over and she felt like she was in a dream. Mamoru looked over to see his friend in the doorway. He smiled but it didn't reach his eyes. "Uhh I just came back here to check up on how you're doing, but it looks like your doing ok." Motoki said the last line with a smirk on his lips and eyes twinkling. "Yea I'm fine Motoki, thanks, but where am I." Mamoru was looking around the unfamiliar room. Usagi who was still in the arms of Mamoru began to giggle. She started to explain, "Well after you decided to pass out, Motoki-kun decided that the best thing was to put you in the back room of the arcade. They keep a cot back here. Do you know we had the hardest time getting you back here. I swear you must weigh a ton Mamo-chan, anyway, we used some ladys stroller and we put you in that. I'm surprised you didn't break the thing." "Yea and that lady didn't look to happy when I told her what I needed to use the stroller for." Motoki added trying not laugh. "Mamo-chan you looked so cute in the stroller! I wanted to just pinch your cheeks." Usagi giggled. Motoki and her broke out into loud fits of laughter. Suddenly Usagi's laughter stopped and her voice became serious. "Now Mamo-chan mind telling us why you blacked out like that? You were out for like twenty minutes! Are you ok?" Usagi was anxiously looking at Mamoru. "Usako I'm really ok. I have just been tired lately. No big deal ok." "Ok." she replied reluctantly. Usagi knew it was something more but decided to bug him about it later when he felt better. "Hey Motoki, do you think you can give me a ride to my apart-ment? My car is in the shop and I didn't bring my motocycle." "Sure man, let me go tell my boss." "Mamo-chan, do you want me to come with you?" Mamoru looked down at Usagi and sighed. "No need to Usako. Actually I rather be alone right now ok." Mamoru ignored the hurt that showed in her eyes and then in her voice. "Ok Mamo-chan whatever you think, but I want you to call me if you need me." Motoki appeared at the door again. "Ready to go Mamoru?" "Hai," came the reply. "Usagi- chan are you coming too?" Motoki asked. Usagi looked and Mamoru for a moment and then looked at Motoki. "No Motoki-chan I have to get home." Motoki noticed the tension between them but said nothing. "Ok then." Putting a steady hand to Mamoru's arm they walked out of the arcade with Usagi following behind. "Ja ne Usagi-chan, " said Motoki. Mamoru still said nothing as Motoki led him to the car. "Ja ne," replied Usagi. Watching the car leave Usagi felt a tear slide down her cheek. 'Oh Mamo-chan whats wrong? Why won't you tell me?.' Turning to go back home Usagi never felt the rest of the tears flowing down her face. ***************************************************************** Yay its over!
