Sailor Moon: Graduation

Note:SMG takes place 4 years after SSAIUS(Sailor Scouts Adventure in the US) 

It was a pleasant afternoon in Tokyo when the calmness was shattered by a 
young lady running down the street yelling, 'I passed, I don't believe it...'
For Usagi, just passing the high school exams was a miracle, but on top of 
that, she was one of the top ten students in her class of close to 500.
When she arrived home, her mother almost fainted when Usagi told her the 
results of the exams. To Usagi, it was like a dream come true. For Amanda, 
who had moved to Tokyo four years ago, passing the exams proved difficult, 
but she made it, out scoring Usagi and placed 2 spots ahead of Usagi, who 
was at no. 7, this from someone who didn't know the language four years ago 
was pretty miraculous. 

That afternoon, Amanda received a letter from Catherine, who had returned to 
the US after spending 2 years in Japan. In the letter, Catherine was talking 
like there was no tomorrow on the subject of having to take the 12th grade 
over again, since the work she did in Japan didn't count towards her diploma 
back home. In her reply, Amanda told Catherine about graduating from high
school, both girls knew that it had been an uphill battle for Amanda, but 
she had won it. 

That evening at dinner, both girls were proud of their accomplishments. 
Kenji was especially proud of Amanda. To the amazement of their parents, 
Usagi and Amanda would call each other Serenity and Selene, even at the 
dinner table. When asked about it, both teenagers said that it was their
secret and would not reveal it until they both saw fit to do so. 

Later, in Chibi-Usa's room both cats announced to the girls that they were 
proud of them. Since Chibi-Usa wasn't around too often, her room had been 
turned into the place to hold sailor meetings, like there was much to talk 
about now a days. Then Amanda excused herself to get some much needed sleep. 
Graduation was less than a week away and she was nervous as it was. 

In the morning everyone gathered at the temple to talk about the results of 
the exams. Both Makoto and Rei had transferred to Juuban Senior High a year 
ago, to be closer in case the Sailor Senshi would be needed. No one was 
surprised by Ami's standing, no.1, but the surprise was when Amanda and 
Usagi announced their standings as no. 5 and 7, respectfully. Everyone's 
attention was then turned to the fact that its been too quiet lately and 
that worried everyone. 

Finally, graduation arrived and everyone was very excited. In attendance in 
addition to the Senshi's families was Darien. All was going well, until a 
few youma came and decided to take energy. 

"What did you say about it being too quiet?" asked Makoto quietly. 

"Not now, this way, then we can transformed." answered Amanda. 

Back in the Hall, people were running all over the place. Darien was trying 
to get everyone out when suddenly, it got foggy. As Darien went about 
getting people out, Sailors Sun and Mars went to help get people out. When 
the fog cleared, the only people who were left were the youma and the Sailor
Senshi. 

After the youma were destroyed, the Senshi got a warm thank you from 
everyone there and then teleported to a deserted area, a short distance from 
where graduation was being held. The Senshi's families were worried since 
they didn't see them when the youma attacked. They explained that they
ran to find help and then fainted (if you couldn't tell, that's the best 
way out of a fight) when they came face to face to the youma. 

Later that night, Amanda gave each of her friends the information needed to 
access their savings accounts for college. Then some very special guests 
showed up and everyone either fainted or almost fainted. The reason why was 
because the Senshi were bowing to the guests. 

After everyone woke up later, Chibi-Usa went up to Usagi and said, "Hi, 
'cousin.'" Of course Kenji and Ilene were trying to figure out how Usagi 
knew the young lady. "Nice to see you, Small Lady, oh sorry, Lady." Usagi 
couldn't believe how much her 'cousin' had grown. It got even stranger when
Amanda went up and said, "Hi, how's my favorite niece doing?" Then came the 
formal introductions and everyone then understood why the Senshi bowed 
earlier. The evening proceeded to get even stranger when the Neo-King 
slipped and called his Queen, 'meatball head.' Everyone's head turned
to Darien and Usagi who were blushing profusely. 

Then Shingo said, "Here I thought only Darien called Usagi 'meatball head,' 
I guess the nickname is popular." (Little did Shingo know, he was right, 
for he was talking to Darien's and Usagi's older selfs.) 

Before the Royal Family left for Crystal Tokyo, they gave the Senshi gifts 
which were rare since they could only be found on their respective planets. 

The next morning Ilene was talking to both girls about how proud she was of 
them. Then the conversation turned to the appearance of the Royal Family 
from the previous night. 

When confronted with the facts, Amanda told Ilene that Neo-Queen Serenity 
was her sister and Neo-King Endymion was her brother-in-law. She continued 
to say that she had no clue who was helping her financially, since she knew 
her parents were honest and worked hard for a living. Before her family 
died, Amanda didn't know any of her family, since her parents were orphans, 
or so she was lead to believe. Then came a letter a few days later 
instructing Amanda to go to Tokyo and that she was financially secured for 
the rest of her life, with the help of her parents' will, which may have
been altered some. The letter was signed, QS and in small print were the 
words, your older sister. 

Usagi then told her mother of the party Amanda held years ago and told her 
that the young lady was Amanda's niece (well actually, Usagi's daughter, 
but she wanted to avoid anymore fainting spells and an overprotective father
going after the childs father, aka Darien). 

At the temple later that morning, everone was talking about their gifts. 
Along with the usual gifts everyone received, Ami received a complete set 
of encyclodpaedias from Mercury, Minako got a stunning mirror encrusted with 
rare jewels, Rei got a robe that looked heavy, but was as light as a
feather, Makoto got seeds from Jupiter for her garden. Everyone thought that 
Usagi's gift of a crown was a bit premature, but everyone loved it either 
way. Amanda got a bracelet that shone as bright as the sun. Even Darien got 
his gift, a crown which matched Usagi's. Darien got his gift after everyone
left, just to avoid getting killed by Kenji. Chibi-Usa (Serenity), gave each 
of them a piece of crystal whose orgins remain a mystery, but everyone 
agreed that it was as bright as the sun, but was as beautiful as the rings 
of Saturn. 

Everyone agreed that, despite the youma attack, it was a wonderful day to 
graduate from high school. They also agreed that it was a great day to start 
on the next chapter of their lives, whatever it may be.
