Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost  more than I can take

    Usagi looks at Mamoru sweetly from across the table in his
apartment.  Candles flicker and dance across her face, making her
prince suck in his breath.  He could never understand, comprehend
the emotions that take over every nerve in his body when he just
stares in those crystalline eyes of hers.  Her eyes that send out this
loving vibe that makes his heart swell with joy; those two shinning
orbs were the gateway too the very core of her soul, and, gods,
what a beautiful soul it was.  
    Her look bared through him like he was nothing more than a
translucent piece of glass, allowing her to see him whole.  And
when she did this, Usagi was engulfed with the purest happiness. 
Just by looking at him she felt the love that encased them.  Never
had she been so happy then she was right here, eating a candle light
dinner, specially made by her beloved, alone with Mamo-chan.  She
prayed and prayed that she wouldn't wake up and be alone.. Oh but
she could never actually feel alone.  His presence was always
around her, guiding her like a lighthouse guides boats in from the
sea.  She was a lost half without him.  And just by staring in his
deep blue eyes she could feel whole.

And it just blows me away

    Mamoru reached across the table and intertwined his hand
with Usagi's.  Her silky skin made every neuron in his body explode
with a unimaginable bliss.  Just the feel of contact with her smooth
skin made Mamoru feel a current of electricity run through out his
entire body.  A warm, giddy warmth that made him dizzy with love. 
This was what he always wanted with his Usako...  Tonight is just
perfect for him to ask her.
    It was Usagi's turn to suck in her breath as she felt the shrill
spark of love that blazed through her veins; just by the touch of his
hand.  The way he caressed her palm made her body turn into jelly,
losing all control of her functions.  How could a simple touch make
her lose complete control?  She was still trying to figure that one
out; but she hoped it never stopped.

I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams

    The love that burned in Usagi's eyes said everything no
words could ever say, and Mamoru knew this.  Every time he saw
her he knew what she was longing for, which was him most of the
time.  And her eyes were always the way of finding these things
out.  At first this scared Mamoru silly; knowing what someone was
wanting and thinking just by looking at them.  But gradually he
came to except it and eventually learned that it was a great fortune. 
Most people can't see exactly how much their girlfriends care for
them, but he could.  And this always made him walk in the air.
    Usagi slowly gained her breath again but only to be sucked
back in when she saw the intense look Mamoru was giving her. 
The look that gave it all away...  The surprise that he told her
about, why he made dinner for her, the romantic atmosphere.  She
knew what he was thinking about and a sudden rush of happiness
invaded her senses.  This was the night she had been dreaming of!  

I don't know how you do what you do

It just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life

Forever and ever

    Mamoru slowly got up from his chair and beckoned Usagi
to do the same suit.  He watched her out of the corner of his eye,
hoping she wasn't suspicious of anything.  The only thing that he
saw was an adorable eighteen year old woman that was the one
who was destined to live by his side for all eternity.
    She felt his gaze wander over her, even if he wasn't exactly
looking at her.  That was why she quickly put on a fake expression
of innocence.  But if it was true, what he was going to do, she
knew what the answer would be.  He was the one that she waited
for, the one that could find her other half so she would never be
alone again.

Baby I'm amazed by you

    Leading Usagi out to the balcony, Mamoru snaked his arms
around her slender waist and explored her eyes, the depths of her
soul.  This perfect being in front of him amazed him so much; she
was like a mystery that could never truly be solved, no matter how
long you spend searching for the answer.  She was like a drug to
him; he needed her in his body or he would go crazy.  Amazement
was truly the word that described her.
    Laying her head on his shoulder, Usagi closed her eyes and
sighed deeply.  It was amazing how far they had come these past
four years.  Starting from a test on the head to a proposal under the
moonlight and stars.  The whole situation was defiantly amazing.  

The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark

    Mamoru inhaled Usagi's scent, a mixture of perfume and
body lotion and moisturizing oils.  Gods, it drove him nuts smelling
her secret scent.  And when she started to whisper 'I love you,' in
his ear, her soft breath made his skin burn with desire.  He wanted
her here, right under the stars and the moon.  But no, he would
wait for her until the night of their wedding.  He knew she never
been with another man before, knowing she was always waiting for
him; as he was.  But, nevertheless, it was certainly tempting.
    Usagi looked up into his face, searching for any signs.  No,
she wouldn't find anything.  He was the perfect gentlemen with no
sign of longing; she knew he was hiding it.  That's what half of the
joy of being married with him would be.  She could claim him
herself, allowing no other woman the rights that she had.  But the
smell of his cologne, rose and cinnamon all most mixed together,
teased and taunted her until she couldn't stand it; she wrapped her
arms possessively around his neck and closed the space between
them.  

Your hair all around me

You touch ever place in my heart

    Her kiss was one of lust and longing versus love and
waiting.  But the desire that fueled Mamoru was something he
couldn't quench as easily as she could; crushing his mouth onto
hers, he roamed freely inside.  His hands slide down her back,
wrapping tighter around her until he molded her body with his.  His
heart was banging heavily in his ribcage, pumping liquid hot blood
through out his whole body.  The kiss was felt all the way through
his existence, settling heavily in his heart.
    The silky strands of midnight black hair wove their way
around Usagi's shaky fingers.  This wasn't their normal kiss; it held
something more special, something deeper.  Oh, but just touching
his hair that felt of purest softest made her heart jump into her
throat and choke her.  The power he had over her was incredible.

    Separating himself from her, Mamoru lifted his priceless
bunny on to the railing of the balcony and began to fish around his
pocket; kissing her always made him fall head over heels for her
again.  And he knew she felt the exact same way.  So why did he
feel so nervous about her answer to his question?  He couldn't
ponder this very long for he had found the small velvety red box
and began to kneel down on his knee in front of her.  Looking up
into her face, he asked her the scariest question in his life; a
question that held the balance of his world.

    "Tsukino Usagi, my little Usako, would you do me the
honor by marrying me?"

    Tears slowly escaped her eyes as she forced a smile on her
trembling lips.  That was the question she had dreamed of escaping
from his petal soft lips; she knew it would happen sometime in the
future, she knew it would happen this very night, but still, she was
completely amazed by him asking it.

    "Chiba Mamoru, my perfect Mamo-chan, not only would it
be a honor in marrying you but it would make me the happiest
person in the whole galaxy.  So, my beautiful prince, how can I
answer anything but...?  Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes!  YES!!"

    Usagi flung herself into Mamoru's waiting arms and began
to cry, allowing the happiness to flood through her as the dam had
been lifted.  This wasn't the reaction Mamoru was quite expecting,
but then again, everything Usagi did amazed him.
