Name: The winds of Fate: Foreword and FAQ Author: Black Gryphon Rating: G E-Mail: blackgryphon21@hotmail.com ------------------------------------ The Winds of Fate: Foreword and FAQ by Black Gryphon Hello, thanks for reading this. I know that this was written after the fifth episode, yet I'm sure some questions will be answered none the less for all those that have begun this story. And for those who have not, I hope that this will encourage you to read. This story involves some hard facts of life, the overall main character being a teenage boy who was so badly treated that he must relearn his emotions from the Scouts. The story also involves some of Luna's past, what happened to her before she found Serena and the others and why she has so strong a will to defeat the Negaverse and all of the evils thereafter. Also it is a sequel to Water and Electricity, in that story I brought forth a love between Lita and Amy, it continues here, however I am trying to make it seem normal and become part of the story-line. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Q: Do you know that your Name and story title are used in the titles of books by Mercedes Lackey? A: Yes, her books were so beautifully done that she has become the yardstick I hold every word I write up to. Should I ever come even, it will be the greatest point of my life as an author. Q: Why do you write gay fiction? A: Again, in the spirit of Mercedes Lackey I became a kind of anonymous Gay Rights activist, I believe that if it is brought to light in tasteful stories, then maybe people will become more accepting. I began with Xena fiction, finding that two females are more acceptable, however I promise all that I will at least give a small example of two men, I believe it is a fine way to live, and wish to help if possible. (I'd also like to take this moment to suggest The Last Herald Mage by Mercedes Lackey, Great story and the main character is gay but, again, tastefully done. I have never found a better book.) Q: Why did you make Lita and Amy a couple? A: During the show, at least the North American version, I found that they'd always stare into each other's eye or their voice would soften at the other's name or when speaking to or about them. I'm making a tally, but as the series has recently come back to the first encounter with Jupiter, the tally will be growing for a long time, and thus, is not listed here. E-mail me at blackgryphon21@hotmail.com if you would like the list as far as it has come at that time. Thank you all for your time. Farewell.
