Hauntings By Lady of the Black Rose. Ladynorose@hotmail.com ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Part 1 Heyyas! This is a new series, brought to you by me, Lady. Note: This has NOTHING to do whatsoever with Black Dawn. I really really really hope you read these, or else you're gonna be totally lost. Okay, here's the scoop: This is RIGHT AFTER Queen Beryl gets trashed . Tuxie boy STILL doesn't remember squat. Um, I hold all rights to the Celestial Senshi. You can have Bo and Mr. Jones. I do NOT, however, own Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Luna or Artemis. They belong to a bunch of compnaies somewhere in Canada. And Tokyo. VULCAN IS MINE, PPLS! MINE!! ALL MINE!! RAHAHAHAHA! Eek. Sorry. I sorta got carried away. Hey, is anyone willing to sell Tuxie or/and Seiya?! I've got two bucks!! Please?! P.P.S. I hope you guys are reading my other series, 'Black Dawn'!! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ "Look at the new girl." "Isn't she weird?" "Look at her hair!" "What a freak." "She's a sadist or something." They whispered. She heard them. Whether they knew or not, she heard them. Ah, yes. She was the new girl. As she had been. So many times. She was different. But this was America. Surely, she had thought, that they could accept her differences. Why did she always have to be wrong? So what if her hair was dark blue?? So what if her eyes were garnet?? So what if she towered above the students and teachers, and she was only sixteen?? So what if she dressed in black and dark red, her favourite colors? She wasn't the things they accused her of. It wasn't her fault. She couldn't choose the colour of her hair and eyes. She couldn't choose whether or not she was tall. 'Make some friends,' her parent told her. How could you make friends if they were all afraid of you at first glance? "Mr. Jones, you've got a new student!" A girl in back, with frizzy brown hair, yelled. The teacher looked up from his desk to see her, standing, by his desk. She could see his shock. "Wha?! Oh, um, hi. What's your name, please?" HE asked. "My name is Iris." She said. "Iris Skyene." She said. "Oh. Well, I'm Mr. Jones, and this is Math. You can sit beside, um, well, pick a seat. There are no assigned seats here." He mumbled, not looking at her. She raised an eyebrow and nodded. She took a desk at the back of the room, away from most of the students. She pulled the hairbow from her long hair and it fell down, and, had she been standing, it would have brushed the backs of her thighs. She braided it quickly, and tied it. The bell rang, so the others had to stop whispering. Mr. Jones got up and began class. She didn't have to pay attention. She had already learned this. Class was just about half-way through when Jones called on Iris. "Huh?" She asked. "Iris, would you please try to work this problem." He said, pointing to the board. She rolled her eyes, and stood up. She walked to the board, studied the problem, and without working out anything on the board, she wrote down an answer. She went back to her seat, leaving Mr. Jones to study her answer suspisciously. The kids snickered. No one could work that problem without doing a page of working the multiplacation and division out, and she had just wrote down a number! Ha! Mr. Jones worked it out, and looked at Iris. "Correct." He said, obviously surprised. There was murmur. Iris settled back down in her dream land. She wasn't called on for the rest of the class. The bell rang, and she scooped up her books and headed out the door. "What's next.... English. Hmm, that can't be so bad." She said, and looked around. It was right across from Mr. Jones classroom. How nice. She went into the room and up to the teachers desk. A short woman sat there, grading papers. She looked at Iris, and turned a gasp into a cough. And so the day of pure hell began. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ "What a joke." She said, plunking down her tray at a table that seemed to be deserted. "This stuff is supposed to be edible? TO what? A scrap- goat?" "No. They'd puke, too." She heard a quiet voice say. She looked up. "Do what!?" She asked. The girl who had sat down across from her had light, wavy, purple hair to the middle of her back, and green eyes. "So, are you new?" She asked. Iris nodded, dumbly. "I'm Daphne." "I'm Iris. Say, is that color natural?" She asked. "Yup." "Mine is too. Are you teased about it?" "Yup." Daphne grinned. "Maybe we're two of a kind." Iris nodded, and a feeling of deja` vu came over her. "Ha- have we met before?" She asked. "Not that I know of. I think I would have remembered you. Your eyes are way freaky." "Thanx. I like your's, though." "I don't." Daphne giggled. "You should." "Hmm. Well, how do you like this school so far, Iris?" "I miss my home." Iris looked out the window. "Where is that?" Daphne asked. "I'm not sure. I don't remember much of my childhood. When I was eight, soething happened. They found me at the steps of an orpanage with a note that said my name was Iris. Lucky, huh. But I THINK I remember. Just flashes. I see a room, made of white marble. And a woman with silver hair. I see a fire, with a girl with dark hair sitting on front of it. And then, there are the nightmares." Iris looked away again. "A small girl with short blue hair. Two with long blonde hair. And four tall women. All holding weapons. And a mirror. A sword. A staff. A glaive." Daphne said, looking at Iris, who looked back, eyes shocked. "In sailor suits?" "Yup. You have them too?" Daphne asked. Iris leaned over and was about to say more, when.... CRASH!!! ~*~*~*~*~*~ "What?!" Iris jumped up. A creature, slime dripping from it's long, sharp fangs, had crashed through the window. It stood nine feet tall, and hand eight arms. Six eyes. And tentcles. Iris felt shock overcome her, and something else. A feeling.... "What is this?" Daphne asked. She was holding her head. "This feeling?" "Huh?" A bluish glow appeared in front of Iris. She reached towards it, and a stick, a wand of some kind, appeared in her hand. She noticed Daphne held one as well. By no will of her own, she felt herself raise her arm high, the wand in it her outstreched hand. Words fell from her lips. "AQUA POWER MAKE UP!" She called. "PRYO POWER MAKE UP!" Daphne yelled with her. The monster turned their way,but they were not Iris and Daphne anymore. They were now the Sailor Senshi!! The gaze of the students followed the youma's. Iris wore a Sailor Senshi fuku, with dark green bows and a dark blue skirt. The stone in her tiara was a light blue, differing from her fuku. Daphne wore a fuku with bright orange bows and a red skirt. Her tiara's stone was yellow. She screamed fire. "I am a Protector of Earth, Bearer of the Power of Water! Sailor Aqua!" "I too, Protect Earth. Bearer of the Power of Fire, Sailor Pyro!" "Hey! You two! Are you crazy?!" A teacher yelled. They ignored her. "VORTEX SPARKLING FLAME!" Sailor Pryo chanted. From her hands flew a cyclone of fire, spinning towards the monster. It tried to doge, but was hit all the same. I'll tell you one thing. The teachers didn't think they were crazy anymore. ^_^ "TSUNAMI RAGE ENGULF!" Sailor Aqua called. A wave of water appeared at her beckoning, and the monster was drowned, turning to dust. Pryo and Aqua exchanged a high five. "I've a feeling that was the first of many." Aqua said slowly. Pyro nodded. They were surrounded by a crowd of students and teachers alike. "Come on, let's move." Pyro said. They jumped over their audiance and seemingly disappeared, but in all reality, they had just ducked into the restrooms. They dehenshined. "That was-- different." Iris said. "I like it." Daphne exclaimed. "You know what? We rock!" ~*~*~*~*~*~ Heyyas! No Cliffhanger this time! I try to go easy on the first parts. If you make it too suspensful, they don't come back. READ WHISPER'S FICS! Oh yeah. Special thanx to Lita Juno, my editor!! ~*~*~*~*~*~
