Ladynorose@hotmail.com ! Well, you know the drill. This is that and that is this. Sailor Moon and Associates belong to a bunch of people in Canada and Tokyo. And the Almighty goddess Takeuchi-sama! Praise be to the creator of Sailor Moon! ~*~*~*~*~*~ School, of course, was cancelled. There always is a few good points to a bad day. Iris and Daphne walked around for a while, discssing their newfound powers. "We can't tell anyone, that's for sure." Daphne let her breath out in a big whoosh. "Isn't there something like us in Japan? Sailor Senshi?" Iris asked. "I dunno. If there are, then they come with the monsters. Maybe there are more of us. Two is not exactly an army." "Power of Water. I'd always thought of myself as a more fire, or thunder, type. Angry." Iris said. "And I, water." "Ironic, huh? Ah, who cares? I suppose water can be angry. Did you see that storm thingie? And your fire tornado--" "Vortex." "Whatever. Listen, though. Maybe there is some kind of purpose for it. Do you think our attacks could combine?" "Water and Fire? Yeah, if you want to douse mine." Daphne pouted. "No, I'm serious. Maybe we should practice. Are there any parks, or secluded places around here?" Iris looked around. "Yeah, Lover's Park." "Okay, can you sneak out?" "I suppose." "Okay, around midnight then. Show me where this park is." ~*~*~*~*~*~ Daphne tiptoed down the stairs, avoiding the ones that creaked. Her parents had long gone to bed, and she had waited until she was sure they were asleep. She was still in her night gown, but once she was able to get outside that wouldn't matter. She crept throught the kitchen and out the back door. She sighed in relief. "Geez, I've got to find another way. That was nerve racking." She mumbled. She raised her sceptor. "PYRO POWER MAKE UP!" She shouted. When she was transformed, she began running. She didn't live all that far from the park, but she had no idea when Iris would show up. Approaching the park, she saw a blur of blue and green in the trees. Stopping, she squinted. Aqua was racing through the trees with a cat-like agility. "Aqua! Wait!" She called. Aqua stopped and dropped from the oak she was standing in. "Heyyas, Pyro! Are you late or am I?" "Both. Where did you learn how to do that?" She motioned to the trees. "I've always been able to climb well, so I decided to give it a swing. You wouldn't believe how strong we are in these things." Aqua pointed to her fuku. "It would explain how we jumped over those kids." Pyro shrugged. "Are you ready to douse my fire trying to combine?" "Sure. Okay, I'm going to try to tone my water down. Throw all your power into your fire. Maybe that way it won't go out." "Okay, Here goes. "VORTEX SPARKLING FLAME!" "TSUNAMI RAGE ENGULF!" The second the water hit the fire they both sputtered out. "Okay, um, any more ideas, Genius?" "Come on. We'll get it sooner or later. Maybe, if we concentrate really hard on joining, it will work." "Once more, then." And so it went, for hours. Around four o'clock, when the sky was beginning to lighten, they finaly got it. Calling it a night, they went home, exhausted beyond anything they'd ever experienced before. They both over slept and ended up missing first period. The rest of the morning went by horribly. The teachers were all jumpy and nervous and screamed at the students. Lunchtime was huge relief for Iris and Daphne. They plunked down at the bench. "I swear, if any of those god-forsaken beast attack, I'm going to be seriously pissed." Iris grumbled. "Too early." Daphne groaned. "Need coffee-- Mountain Dew-- Pepsi-- " She dug in her pruse and came up with a couple of dollars of change. She stumbled over to the Coke machines and bought two Surges. She put one in front of Iris and opened the other. Glorious Caffeine! "Drink up, girl. Maybe this will wake us up." She said. Iris nodded. They got an energy boost from it, and it let them last through the day with out falling asleep. Doesn't mean they were able to pay attention. ~*~*~*~*~*~ "Ami-chan, there is dark energy in America. What do we do?" Rei asked. Usagi groaned and dove under the bed. After Beryl was defeated, everything had been peaceful. Except that Mamoru didn't remember her. And that they didn't remember her until Luna had given in and revived them. "I say we go cream em!" Makoto yelled. "Just leave?" Minako asked. "Mrfgmrfhmfmrhfmrfhmmfrmfhrmmgmrhfrhumfeghr m fhrhmhrfmmf!!" Usagi yelled from underneath the bed. "Do what?" Minako asked. a blonde odangoed head came out. "I said, Luna can brainwash our parents and teacher to thinking we're exchange students. Then we can teleport." The head disappeared. "As much as I hate to admit it, that's a great idea, Odango Atama." Rei said. She looked at Luna and Artemis. "It would work." Luna said thoughtfully. "And it would be better than just leaving." Artemis added. "Alright, Senshi! Let's go kick some Nega- butt!" Makoto yelled. ~*~*~*~*~*~ "That's the third attack in two days, Daph. And they keep getting stronger. Pretty soon, we are gonna have some major-o-so problems kicking their butts." "We've been getting stronger too, deary." Daphne reminded her. "Not enough. We gonna need help!" "Oh yeah. Um, Mr. Police person? yeah, you see, me and my friend here, well, we can turn into girls with bows and really short, almost indecent, skirts and weird powers to shout the snot out of monsters, but it's not enough, so if you could lend us some of your men-- say what? What size staight-jacket do I wear?" "Not funny, Daph. I'm serious. Maybe we should be looking for another one of us." "How do you suppose we do that? Walk up to them and ask?" "I could help." A male voice said. They jumped. "Who's there?!" Iris yelled. Daphne pulled out her henshin stick. "Hey! Down here!" They looked down. A brown cat met their eyes. "Yup. Me. Hi." They shrieked. "It talks!" "Geez! Lower the decibals, wouldja?" He mumbled. Daphne was the first to recover her wits. "Y-you said y-you c-could help." She stuttered "I can. My name is Vulcan. I was sent to help you guys out." "Really? Well, Vulcan, do tell, How?" Iris asked. "I can sense energy levels, so if I were close enough to a person. I could tell you if they were a senshi. Not which one. You'd have to throw her in front of a youma to do that." "gee, how nice." "Yup." "Well, I suppose. I mean, you talk, so I guess I'll have to believe you. Are there more of us?" Iris asked. "Yes. Three more, to be precise. Sailor Thunder, Sailor Ice, and Sailor Melody." "That's helpful. Do you know where they are?" Daphne asked. "Uh, no." "I feel like drowning you." Iris muttered. Vulcan gulped vervously and began to explain just how he could sense their missing partners. ~*~*~*~*~*~ "I hate malls. Vulcan, who better find somone or else." Iris moaned. Vulcan had talked them into taking him to one of the malls to see if he could find anyone. "Or else what?" "Or else or you are gonna see the full extent of water, buddy." "Oh." "Iris, stop threatening him. It could take months to find them on our own." Daphne scolded. "Problem?" "Oh, you!" Daphne playfully slapped Iris. Vulcan raised an eyebrow. "That's funny." He said. He was staring at two girls, one with raven black hair and the other blonde. They were arguing over something. "Them! They are senshi!" He exclaimed. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ And there's my cliffhanger. Not exactly much of one, but it's good enough. ~*~*~*~*~*~
