Just a quick message before we move onto Serena the Klutz. I do not own Sailor Moon as much as I wish I did, nor do I own any of the characters... MUAHAHA except for my own which are not even in this fanfic, it's in a totally different series called Sailor Moon M, which of course you could probably care less at this moment. So without further a due here is Serena the Klutz ~Serena the Klutz~ by Cookie Serena ran down the streets of Tokyo, trying her best not to bump into someone coming the opposite direction of her. She looked at her watch and gave a groan. She would be late yet again for the 3rd time this week and she new Ms. Haruna would not be very happy. "I can't believe this, Luna didn't wake me up, I'm gonna be late!" "Nothing new for you Meatball Head." Serena frowned as she recognized the voice of Darien. She turned around briskly and pointed an accusing finger at him, only to get that annoying smirk back. "You Mr. Chiba! Mind your own business!" Darien laughed and pushed aside her and continued walking. Serena fumed. That guy just made her so angry, and even later. She took off running and just barely made it to class before the 2nd tardy bell rang. ~*******~ "Where's Serena?" Raye looked about the Temple and found everyone but Serena there. She sighed as this was a usual habit and didn't know why she had bothered to ask a stupid question. "Detention...again." Lita stated, taking a muffin from the tray Raye's Grandfather had left for them. Before he went off about his daily chores. "Well in any case we can't wait for her anymore. We need to get about this meeting, with or without that Meatball Head!" Raye snorted sitting next to Ami who was busily reading some book about Quantum Physics. "I'm sorry I'm late guys!" The four looked up to find the blonde haired blue-eyed girl known as Serena Tskunio out of breathe from running the way's from Detention Hall to the Shinto Temple. "About time!" "Oh Raye, you know I try." "Can we please get onto the meeting?" Luna questioned. "Alright, yeah, sorry Luna." Luna jumped up onto the table and sat in the middle of the five girls. She looked to everyone, Ami the smart one of the group, not that they all weren't smart; it's just that Ami excelled in it. She moved her eyes to Raye she was about as stubborn as a mule and ten times worse. She admired her determination to get the job done. Luna then looked to Lita, the strongest of the five and smiled. Then to Mina, who was the last of the Senshi to join their group, sometimes Luna wondered if she was hiding something. Finally Luna looked to Serena, she often thought she couldn't do it, but yet she somehow managed to pull through especially when her friends were in danger. "Alright down to business, there seems to be a recent amount of disappearances around the central area of Tokyo. Children, men and women and even animals have been missing, the Police have no lead. This looks like the Negaverse." Serena whimpered a little she was getting tired of having to go off and save the world from the Negaverse and wondered why they just couldn't give up their quest to destroy the world so she could go on to living a normal life. She knew that wasn't going to be happening anytime soon and retired to listening to Luna once more. "To tell the truth, girls, I don't know what were up against. I had Ami run a scan earlier today. Ami did you find anything?" Ami took out her Mini computer and nodded. "It seems to me that these people aren't wanting the energy they want something much more, but I don't really understand to as what it could be. The Negaverse needs energy, but what they are going after won't help them, at least not in the long run." Raye seemed to be thinking for a moment. Then looked up to the group. "I could do a reading...but I wouldn't know the results until probably early tomorrow morning." "Alright, then we'll meet back here tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can get Serena up in time." "Hey I heard that!" They laughed. ~*******~ "Wow isn't it nice out tonight Luna?" Serena danced across the park and looked up at the Stars and the big ball of light that stuck out. The Moon, she wondered if Mina could really be the Moon Princess, she certainly looked and sounded like one and she had the Crescent Moon marking on her forehead. "You know, out of all the people I expected to be out prancing around at a time like this, you are the one I least expected. What on Earth are you looking at Meatball Head?" Serena drooped. Her wonderful evening had been spoiled by Darien, once again. "For your information, I was looking at the Moon, but I guess someone like you wouldn't understand how beautiful it looks in a starry sky." Darien looked up at the Moon, the Moon he remembered something happening there a long time ago and quickly shrugged it off. He turned his attention back to the girl. "You're right, it does look quite nice." Serena gasped, her being right for once? "See the Big Dipper?" He exclaimed to her. "Yeah, I saw it, almost as pretty as the Moon." Darien laughed and stood next to her, leaning against the bridge railing. "You know, you amaze me Meatball Head, you actually can find interest in some things, other than throwing your test papers at me." He smirked, knowing this would get her mad, and he loved seeing her cheeks redden while she tried to give him the Third Degree. "Listen Mr. Chiba, I do not find pleasure in throwing things at you, but now that you mention it, I just might!" Serena started to advance him to give him more of her mind when she tripped on a rock and fell straight into Darien's arms. Darien looked shocked...this feeling he was having it startled and amazed him, but he liked it. He would never admit it but he liked the way Serena felt in his arms. "Why don't you watch what you're doing, Meatball Head?" He stood her up properly. "Well sorry! It's not like I planned on it." Darien stared at her, her blonde hair was silky when it touched his arms and he had a desire to run his hands through it, her blue eyes were so deep it felt like he could lose himself in them. She was beautiful and Darien knew he was falling for her and that scared him. Serena looked at him and wondered why he kept staring at her like that. She did love the way his black hair was parted and his brown eyes. But she would NEVER in a MILLION YEARS tell him that. "What? Are you looking at Darien?" Darien shook his head and gazed at her. "N-nothing...I better be going. See you around, Serena." Serena gasped as Darien had called her by her name and not Meatball Head. She thought maybe she was going crazy but decided against it. "Hey there pretty girl." Serena awakened from her thoughts turned to the new voice and found a man with a sharp object in his hand, and advancing towards her. "Leave me alone please!" Serena trying to avoid the person fell smack on her butt. She stared at the advancing man and screamed hoping someone would hear her. "No one's around, no use in wasting your vocal cords." "Hey why don't you leave her alone!" Serena looked to the person who had arrived and found Darien. "Darien!?" Serena scrambled to her feet and yelled as the man pulled her by her long hair away from Darien and dangerously close to the edge of the bridge railing. "Back off Romeo or she gets to go for a little swim and the Dead Mans float isn't a pretty sight to see." Darien looked to Serena a look of hurt coming over his eyes. How dare someone try to hurt his Meatball Head. He turned to the man. "Let her go." "One step closer and I mean it, she goes for a swim." "Darien please, help me..." "Serena..." Darien moved slightly just enough to be able to get his hand around the mans neck and squeeze. "I w...warned..you." The man choked out releasing his hold on Serena who fell into the ice-cold water below. "Serena!! No!!" Darien punched the guy leaving him unconscious and leaned over the railing looking for the familiar hairstyle. "Serena? SERENA!?" "Darien!" Darien looked down and saw Serena barely hanging on to the bridge with one hand. He quickly reached over and grasped it, pulling her up. "Serena are you okay!? Are you hurt!?" Darien looked Serena over then pulled her body close to his as tears started to come down from her eyes. "Oh Darien...I was so scared...I thought I was going to die!" She nuzzled her head against his chest and cried freely as he comforted her. "Oh Serena, I was so worried, I thought you were gone for sure...Meatball Head if anything happened to you..." He trailed off, he didn't know what he would do if something ever happened to his beautiful angel. Darien lowered his head and kissed the top of her blonde hair, wondering where this feeling was coming from, her being his arms it felt so right and he didn't know whether to run from it or embrace it. "Thank you..." She released her grip on him and stepped back, wiping the tears from her eyes. She smiled at him and quickly started walking back to her home. She wouldn't be taking any more night walks. Not without someone there to protect her. "Bye...my Odango atama..." ~*******~ Serena woke up to the sounds of birds chirping and the voice of Luna telling her she had better hurry if she wanted to get to the meeting on time. She moaned as her head hurt from the encounter last night. She smiled as she remembered Darien coming to her rescue and the way he held her in his arms until she had calmed down enough to go home. She loved the way he had held her and couldn't help but give a sigh of happiness hoping she would run into the ever-annoying rescuer later on. "Serena are you sure you're alright, after what that man did to you, I am sincerely sorry I couldn't help." Serena looked to her black cat and gave her a pat on the head. She was in love, what Luna had said seemed to have gone through one ear and out the other and she didn't stop to register it. "Whatever you say Luna." She sighed standing up and searching through her drawers for something suitable yet dazzling in case she should bump into Darien. "You Meatball Brain are you even listening to me?" Luna questioned and then gave up and curled herself onto the bed waiting for Serena to get ready. "Luna, tell me have you ever been in love?" Luna looked up at Serena as she had asked a most impossible question for her to answer. Love yes Luna had been in love but that was a long time ago, way before she could remember, she hoped it would become clear as soon as the Moon Princess was revealed. "I really don't know Serena, why do you ask?" "Oh no reason." Serena picked up her bunny bag slipped on some shoes and placed Luna on her shoulder. Then began to descend the stairs of her house. "Where are you going?" Sammy asked as he saw his sister dressed better than she usually was. "I'm meeting some of my friends Sammy." Luna meowed in retort, she had nothing against Sammy but it bugged her the way he always meddled in Serena's affairs. "Right these wouldn't have to be some guy friends? Any guy friends of yours must seriously have something wrong with them." "Haha I'd have to say the same to your girl friends." Sammy decided he wasn't going to win this one and turned back to the Nintendo game he was playing. "I'll be back later today, tell mom, don't forget Sammy!" "Yeah yeah..." Sammy waved his hand at her to give the motion to just leave already. Serena sighed, grabbed her house key and walked out the door only to come face to face with Darien. "Oh my..." Darien looked at her; he was just about to knock when she had come out of the house. "...Hi, I was just wondering how you were doing..." Serena's heart began beating against her chest and she thought it might explode. Darien here to check up on her? She quickly looked around to see if maybe he was lost or if he was talking to someone else. "What are you looking for?" "Uhm nothing! I'm doing fine, thank you." Darien smiled as she fumbled with her house key trying to put it into her bunny bag. He looked to the cat that was looking at him. "This must be Luna." Serena nodded her head and gave her cat a quick pat. "Strange marking, is that a crescent moon on its forehead?" Serena blushed, no one had ever really noticed the marking on Luna's head before and she began to search her mind for a reasonable and somewhat logical answer to the strange marking her cat possessed. "Uhm...it's a sticker! Yeah Sammy must have placed it on her head." Luna sweat dropped a sticker wasn't quite a very good reason what if he tried pulling it off of her? "Oh." He really didn't believe her but decided to question it some other time, right now he really wanted to ask her something. Serena breathed a sigh of relief, the lie may not have worked but at least he wasn't going to question her about it. "Serena I was wondering, would you like to catch a sundae with me?" Serena nearly jumped for joy, and then realized she had to meet the girls. "I'm sorry...I have to meet some of my friends..." Darien looked disappointed but shrugged it off. "Later?" Serena questioned, hoping that he'd say yes. "Yeah sure, we could have it later today, I'll meet ya at the arcade at 3, okay?" "Perfect!" Serena squealed, looking to her watch she nearly groaned. Darien watched as she gave a pouting look and couldn't help but to be mesmerized by it. The way her eyes shone and drooped slightly and the way her beautiful face gave way to the little set back. How come he had never noticed this before? "What is it?" He finally asked. "I'm going to be late and Raye is gonna be so mad." "Well I won't keep you any longer." Darien stepped aside for her to pass and watched as she smiled at him. A smile a very own smile just for him to keep. "Bye Darien see you later!" She waved to him and quickly took off not stopping to look back to see Darien mouth the words Angel. ~*******~ "The Negaverse is after the very souls of humans." Mina repeated, Serena was in shock. She knew the Negaverse was evil but this was just UN called for. Stealing the souls of living beings. It wasn't right. "I found their next target, a man by the name of Darien Chiba. I'd suggest we keep watch over him, but does anyone know him?" Serena nearly fell over upon hearing this news. "Yes I know him." Serena quipped, if anyone was going to be protecting Darien, it was going to be her, besides she kind of owed it to him for saving her life last night. "You Serena? You know this man?" Mina asked. "Yes, in fact I'm supposed to be meeting him later for a sundae." Lita and Mina nodded to each other then looked to Ami and Raye who seemed to give the approval silently for Serena to be able to watch over the guy. After all she did know him and it wouldn't be right to watch out for him in stand of Serena. "Alright, Serena, you're going to protect this guy, but if anything happens, call us, don't try to do it all by yourself." Lita stated pointing a finger at Serena. "Yeah give us a call if you need help." Serena nodded and thanked everyone for giving her this responsibility she was happy that they were finally relying on her to do more things. After all she had gotten a lot better through the months and started to accept her destiny as a Soldier for Love and Justice. "Alright I will." "Good." Serena stood and grabbed her things waving to everyone. "Wish me luck." "Bye Serena!" ~*******~ Serena skipped down the streets, humming a song she knew she had heard somewhere but couldn't quite remember. It seemed to be a long time ago. She opened the doors to the Arcade and waved to Andrew who had smiled upon her entering. "Hello Serena, what's up?" "Hi Andrew, just waiting for Darien, he wasn't here already was he?" "Nope, I haven't seen him at least, say what's going on with you two, you usually can't stand each other." Serena smiled. "I don't really know Andrew, something good I hope." Andrew laughed, his two best friends getting together, he never would have thought it could happen. "Well let me know how thing's go, you hear?" "Sure Andrew." Serena was just about to ask what time it was when Darien stepped through the doors and carrying a bunch of flowers. "Darien?" "Serena! Hi." Darien walked over to her and gave her one of his best smiles. "These are for you." Darien said holding the bouquet out to her. He hoped she liked them. "Oh they're wonderful, thank you!" Serena smelled the flowers and smiled. They reminded her of the Garden she used to take walks in so long ago. "Well are you ready, my lady?" Darien asked, holding his arm out to her. She smiled and looped her arm in his. "You two have a great time!" "We will, bye Andrew!" The two walked off together, leaving Andrew to chuckle to himself silently. Who would have thought that those two would ever get together? ~*******~ "That sundae was wonderful, thank you Darien." "You're quite welcome Meatball Head." Darien gave her a teasing smile, to be met with a playful shove back. "Hey!" Serena laughed and took off running followed closely by Darien. "Ah ah!" Serena laughed as she fell onto the soft grass of the park and laughed as Darien towered over her. "Say Uncle!" Darien laughed tickling her. He had never had so much fun before. "Un..un! Ah!" Serena tried to give the magic words to release her self from the on slough of tickling. Darien laughed and released her. Gazing down at the beauty before him he could no longer control his actions. He lowered his head to her lips and was met by a kiss. He never felt something so wonderful and passionate...and tasty in his entire life. It was like he was addicted and her kiss being the fabulous drug he wanted more of. His hands went to her face and cradled them and felt her own reach to the back of his head pulling him closer. He was not the only one addicted to this wonderful new drug. "...Serena..." Darien moaned releasing himself from her lips. "Darien...what's going on?" Serena suddenly sat up as she saw the sky become dark and a strange swirl of black lowered itself to them. "Serena...what is this? It was so nice..." Serena suddenly screamed as she saw a huge youma luring in the back of Darien. "Darien move!" Serena pushed him aside just as the youma lowered its huge hands towards him. "What the hell is that thing!?" Darien stood up. He knew he had to protect this girl...this angel before him. "No not know...not when he can see me..." Serena whispered to herself and hit the distress button on her communicator letting the others know that the Sailor Senshi were needed on the double. "Serena..." "Darien...please...don't tell anyone..." Darien looked to her, her hair flying from the increasing wind blowing and watched as she held her hand up into the air. "Moon Prism Power Make-up!" Darien gasped as the girl before him transformed into Sailor Moon. The one Tuxedo Mask always protected and yet didn't know why. He knew he was going to be needed and decided to reveal himself to Serena since she had done the same. "Sailor Moon." Darien spoke as he took out a rose a turned into Tuxedo Mask. He stood looking at Sailor Moon, who was shocked. "You're Tuxedo Mask!" "Sailor Moon, watch out!" Darien ran at her knocking her to the ground as he pulled out his cane and blocked the blow from the youma. "Erm...Tuxedo Mask..." Sailor Moon moaned standing. She knew she had to protect Darien at all costs whether he was Tuxedo Mask or not. Tuxedo Mask winced at the power of this youma; he didn't know how much longer her could hold it off. "You Nega Creep! I am the Pretty Sailor Suited Soldier Sailor Moon! For ruining my wonderful day I'm going to punish you! Prepare to be dusted courtesy of Sailor Moon! Moon Tiara Magic!" Serena screamed releasing the magic disc. Tuxedo Mask quickly moved out of the way and kneeled grasping his chest. Something was wrong. "Tuxedo Mask!?" Sailor Moon ran over to him, holding him in her arms. "Sailor Moon...I feel my spirit...leaving..." He leaned against her. If he was going to die, he wanted to die in the arms of the woman he loved. "Oh Tuxedo Mask! Don't leave me please! Darien!" "Venus Crescent Beam Smash!" "Jupiter Thunder Crash!" The youma shook as he was hit by two powerful attacks and fell to the ground as a pile of dust. The soul he had clasped returned to Tuxedo Mask. "Sailor Moon, Serena...Meatball Head..." Darien lifted his head and met the gaze of those beautiful eyes that were shedding tears, for him. "Darien..." She sobbed happy he was alive and met his kiss once again. Holding him close fearful he was going to leave. "Ahem...excuse us...we'd hate to interrupt...okay not really, but do you mind!" Sailor Mars screamed very annoyed that the two lovers seemed to be ignoring the other four entities that were around. Serena looked up and laughed. "I'm sorry, this is Darien Chiba." The Four gasped. Darien Chiba was Tuxedo Mask. Darien stood and returned to his normal self along with the others who thought it was fair, that he know their identities in exchange for his own. ~*******~ 7 Years Later.... "Serena Tskunio..." Serena turned to the man beside her. Darien Chiba, their past and future had been revealed to them in the amount of time they had shared their first kiss and she couldn't believe that they had grown to love each other, real love before it was revealed to them. "Yes?" She finally answered. "Will you marry me?" Darien knelt on one knee and held the ring. Serena's eyes watered this was even more perfect than she thought. "Yes! A thousand times over Yes!" Darien smiled and placed the ring on her finger, then stood and gave her a kiss that seemed to last more than a life time. Eh so what you think? Send me comments whether they are good or bad! I might just do another one if I get some good feedback! Thanks for taking the time to read it Ja ne!
