Hello, everyone, Ok a few quick notes. 1) I would like to give credit for the 
idea of this story to Aaron Thacker. Thank you so much for the idea, sorry it 
took so long to get it out. 2) I would like some more help from anyone who knows 
the outers, and ken's personality well, because I wanted to do a story about 
them but I don't have very much to go with for the characters. 3) Thank you 
everyone who puts up with my terrible writing. And I am glad that many of you

A Raye and Chad story

	"So what are you doing this weekend?" Sarena asked the group.
	"I am going over to Greg's. We are going to start studying for college 
enterance exams." everyone sweat drop as Amy anwsered.
	"Ken and I are going to the carnival." said Lita.
	"I spending the weekend with Andrew since my mom is out of town, again."
	"Darien and I are going to the beach, what about you Raye?" 
	"I guess I am going to be at the temple as usual." 
 It was the first weekend of the summer and the last negaverse attack was over 
two years ago. Everyone had time to settle down with that special someone, 
everyone that is except Raye. 
~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~
	"How have things been with you and Mina?" asked Darien proudly. 
	"Just fine, I am still surprised that I didn't ask her out sooner. What 
are you guys dong this weekend?"
	"Amy is coming over so we can study for college."
	"Lita and I are going to the carnival."	
	"Serena and I are hitting the beach."
	"Mina coming over to my palce."
	"What about you Chad?"
	"I was planning on going to the cabin for the weekend."
	"Here's and idea, why don't you ask Raye to go to. We all know you like 
her."
	"Do you think she'll go, I mean she always yells at me."
	"There's only one way to find out. Ask her!" 
	"Alright, I'll give it a try." Chad then got up and left to try and get a 
companion for the weekend. When he arrived at the temple he knew exactly where 
to find Raye. 
	"Raye, can I ask you something?" asked a timid Chad.
	"What do you want Chad?" she practically screamed. Chad was hesatant to 
continue but he did.
	"Well, I was um, I was..Iwaswonderingifyouwouldliketogotomycabin
thisweekend?" He said in one breath
	"Could you repeat that, slower where I can understand it?"
	"I was wondering if you would like to go to my cabin this weekend?"
	"I don't think that I have anything planned, so I guess I could go." 
	"Well that's what I..." he paused for a second and relized what she just 
said, "did you just say that you would go?"
	"Yes, I said I would go"
	"Wow, I can't believe it. I'll pick you up Friday at noon."
	"Alright, see you then." Raye smiled to herself, she had never seen him so 
happy before 'I guess that's because I never gave him a chance' she thought to 
herself. 
~~~~~~~~~~~Friday Morning-Crown Arcade~~~~~~~~~~~
	"No way, You're going to spend the entire weekend with CHAD. you are going 
to drive each other insane." Serena laughed.
	"I think it's a good idea, besides Darien used to drive you crazy, 
remember *Meatball Head*." lita said.
	"I thought we got over calling me that." Serena retorted. 
	"Besides we all know that Chad likes-" Mina was cut short by Lita's hand 
flying over her mouth.
	"Be quite, we said we wouldn't tell her remember."
	"Tell me what?" Raye questioned.
	"Nothing." Lita responded quickly
	"I'm not going to give up that easily. What do you know that I don't? TELL 
ME NOW!!!"	By the end of the sentence she was yelling.
	"ALRIGHT!, calm down and we'll tell you. The only reason Chad has stayed 
her as long as he has is becuase he likes you. And the reason he asked you to 
the cabin this weekend is so that he could tell you himself. And he hoped that 
it would be a surprise." Lita explained but the whole thing wasen't heard, Raye 
stoped listening after she heard that he liked her. 
	'He likes me?' Raye kept hearing that question over and over in her head.
	"Earth to Raye, come in Raye!" Serena said while waving her hand in front 
of Raye's face.
	"Oh, what? Im, I thin I have to go finish packing, talk to you later." She 
said as she got up and left the arcade.
	"That was weird. What did you say to her Lita?" Serena questioned
	"I dunno, one minute she's yelling the next she's spaced out."
Raye went home and did as she said she was going to do and she finished packing. 
But what Lita had said still bothered her. 
	'Why does he like me. I have been nothing but mean to him and he still 
likes me?' It was 11:45 whe Chad drove up to the temple to pick Raye up. Within 
ten minutes the car was packed and they were off. Two hours later they pulled up 
to the cabin, the drive up there was filled with an uneasy silence. They began 
to unpack their things and get set up for the weekend. When they were about half 
way through, Raye was fed up with then uneasiness and began to question Chad.
	"Is there a reason that yo asked me up here this weekend?" she asked 
knowlingly
	"Yes, there is but I was waiting for the right time to tell you." 
	"Well why did you ask me?"
	"Let's get some tea and I'll tell yo uthen, deal?"
	"Deal." Fifteen minutes later they were sitting down on the couch drinking 
their tea.
	"The reason that I asked you here is so that I could tell you something 
that has been bugging me ever since I laid eyes on you, but you must promise to 
hear me out before you start yelling at me."
	"I promise."
	"Ok, here goes nothing, Raye ever since I saw you I fell in love with you, 
I tried to ignore because I didn't know what to do. I thought that you hated me 
and always would. But the more I got to know you the more I loved you. That is 
why I asked you here so that I could tell you that I love you, you don't have to 
say anything back, I just had to let you know." He then turned his head away 
from her and continued to drink his tea.
	"Chad, there is something that I have to tell you."
	"What's that, you can tell me anything."
	"Chad, I love you too, the reason that I always yell at you is because I 
was afraid of getting hurt and I didn't know what to do, so I tried to push you 
away, which seems that I failed, and I am glad that I did, but anwser me one 
question."
	"What?"
	"Why did you leave the temple?"
	"I left because I thought that you hated me and I was tried of being hurt 
so I left to try and ease the pain."
	"I am so sorry, I never meant to hurt you that much, Will you forgive me?"
	"Does this anwser your question?" He said as he leaned his head forward 
and their lips met for the first time. She repsoned with as much passion she 
could and then he deepened the kiss. When they finially broke the kiss, Both 
knew that they would be together for the rest of their lives. They spent the day 
looking around the small town and they spent the night in each others arms. The 
next morning they decided to head back to Tokyo and surprise everyone, but when 
they got back they couldn't find anyone. They decided to unpack their things and 
head to the beach. 
Meanwhile.....
	Some how all the groups palns had gotten changed and they ended up making 
a group trip to the beach. 
	"I wonder how Raye and Chad are doing?" Serena said to no one specific
	"They probably killed each other by now." Responded Lita.
	"Too bad they weren't here or they could have joined us." giggled Mina. 
Little did they know that they were about to recive the surprise of a lifetime. 
Amy looked up from her book only yo see chad and Raye walking toward the sand 
hand in hand. 
	"Um, guys, check that out." The group stoppoed talking and looked in the 
driection that Amy was pointing.
	"I don't believe it, they finally relized that they liked each other." 
Andrew said. 
	"Look who's talking, how long did it take you to relieze that you like 
me?" Mina said giving him a quick kiss. 
	"Be quite you too, I want to hear this." Serena said.
The group remained quite and tried to listen to then having little success. When 
they were about to give up and invade the couple, they saw her turn to kiss 
chad. They immeditly burst into laughter. raye truned to look when she reconized 
some of the voices. Chad also saw and kissed her before she had the chance to go 
off on anyone and as soon as he did that the laughing stopped as fast as it 
started. When everything was said and done the new couple joined the rest of the 
group for the day. 
	"So when did all of this happen" Mina inquired
	"Last night" was their only response.
	"What no details?" whinned Serena
	"NO!" was the immediate anwser which caused Serena to jump. After the day 
at the beach each couple headed their own way. Raye and Chad headed back to the 
temple for a quite night alone. They were inthe living room enjoying the 
quietness and each others presence when Raye had another question,
	"Chad, will you move back to the temple?"
	"If you want me to"
	"Please"
	"Alright first thing tomorrow, but I have to be going now, it's late." 
	"Wait, why don't you stay here."	
	"Alright if you say so." The room went back to the silence once again and 
after a while Chad looked down to find that Raye had fallen asleep. He gently 
picked her up and carried her to her room where he placed her in her b ed. She 
made a slight movement when her covered her up and then he barely heard the 
three words that he loved to hear,
	"I love you." she said as she went back to a peaceful sleep.
	"I love you, too." he said although he knew that she couldn't hear him and 
he slept in the living room out of respect for her in the temple.
	The next morning Raye woke up to find that Chad was not in her room, she 
made a quick search of the temple only yo come up empty handed. She went and sat 
on the steps of the enterance and her eyes became watery as she began to 
silently cry. (AN: I know that this is nothing like raye, but let's just 
pretend, ok ^_^) She hugged her knees to her chest when she began to cry harder 
just then she felt familar hands on her shoulders.
	"What's wrong?" questioned a very worried Chad. She looked up and threw 
her arms around him. He was confused but hugged her back fo rsomfort, When she 
finally stopped crying he decided to ask his question again,
	"What's wrong, Please tell me." he pleaded
	"When I woke up this morning and you weren't ther and I searched the 
temple, but I couldn't find you and I thought you left-" He quickly slienced her 
with a kiss, he didn't want to hear her like that anymore.
	"Raye, listen to me. I left to go get my stuff so that I can move back, I 
would never leave you, it took me too long to get you and I am not just going to 
throw what we have away. I will always be here for you, ok."
	"I am sorry for over reacting, I should have thought before I acted." 
	"That's alright, now why don't we get some breakfast."
	"Let's" she said as he helped her up and escorted her to the kitchen. He 
made the best breakfast that she had ever had and they sepnt the rest of the day 
moving his things back to the temple, together.
