Thank you for looking at my story. If you usually read forewords that's smart, since sometimes you might actually understand the tale better. This fanfic is based primarily on Serena. I am using the Japanese names. For now, Mamoru is Darien, Setsuna is Pluto, Usagi is Serena, Ami is Amy, Rei is Raye, Makoto is Lita, Minako is Mina, Shingo is Sammy, Naru is Molly, Chibiusa is Reni. I picked up on some of these on other stories. I also don't know Usagi's parent's names. I'd really appreciate it if you could e-mail me to inform me of this, or if you have any other useful information. You could E-mail me at ironic_balance@hotmail.com with information, flames, or comments. I do basically know everything on Sailormoon and Sailormoon R. I know most of Sailormoon S and the general story line on Sailormoon SS and Sailormoon Eternal. This story takes place after the fight with Galaxia in the last series and I am going to add Street Fighter to this story later. I do not know a lot about the basic story line of that. I have taking a liking to it after a brief view though. I have slow literature skills, therefore I will write when I feel like it. This story will not be constant. Sorry about that, if you ready like this story and want the next part, E-mail me. I won't guarantee it but I might step it if I'm pressured enough. If you don't like it, then don't read it anymore. This part is short due to some factors. Baka means is an idiot cursing word in Japanese. Thanks again for looking at this- Cassi Yield Unto Thyself: Part One Usagi Tsukino was coming out of her stupor a few hours after Setsuna had slammed the door behind her as she had left Usagi's house in an icy calm. She couldn't believe what Setsuna had pushed on her. She felt tears welling up in her eyes. It was a very good thing her parents hadn't been here. They and her brother Shingo had gone on a two-month trip to Hawaii, a state of America. Her parents had won a trip there with an idiotic contest, she could still remember that scene... " Hey, honey," Mr. Tsukino said to Mrs. Tsukino," could you get the phone?" " Yeah, sure," Mrs. Tsukino said cheerfully, she was in a good mood. She went into the kitchen and picked up the phone there. " Yes, this is Tsukino's residence. Who's calling?" She listened for an answer. She was in view of the living room where Usagi's father, Shingo, and Usagi were, down the hall that was connected to the room. They saw her mouth drop open, and the phone chattering indistinguishable words. Mrs. Tsukino shrieked," Oh! Oh! You're not kidding are you?! That's wonderful! Yes!!" Usagi saw her mom jump up in down with glee. It scared her. The phone chattered on. Her mother's face fell. " Oh," she said quietly," I see. Yes, I understand. I'll discuss it with the others. Yes, I tell you as soon as we make our decision." She listened for a while more and hung up the phone. She sighed. Usagi asked her mom," What is it?" Her mom smiled slightly," Well, it was the person from the Mathematician's Masters Contest." " Huh?" Usagi's mind glazed over as it always did when complex things were said. Usagi's dad set down the newspaper he had been reading. " It was that thing? Well, what did she say?" " Well," a proud gleam shone in her eyes," they said we won! Our entry was the best and it was chosen! We won a trip to an America state. It is called Hawaii I think. It's a small chain of tropical islands. We'll be staying there for two months at a hotel with the works." " That's wonderful! But why did you seem so unhappy?" Usagi's dad said. " Well, it appears that the arrangements had a mistake. They miscounted and provided only three tickets." " Oh, I see. Well, I guess we have to cancel," Mr. Tsukino said after a long pause, his voice palpable with disappointment," we can't leave without one of the kids." " Aww man," Sammy said," this stinks." Usagi was silent for a moment. It did suck, her parents hadn't won anything for a long time... and when they finally did the prize was flawed. It wasn't fair. She wanted to go too. She had heard that Hawaii was exotic and an awesome place to go. But then there was the scout business... She minus will do something about it. " Hey, mom, dad? I'll stay behind." " What?!" both her parents said in protest. " Well, come on. I know how much you want to go and Sammy couldn't stay behind, he too young. I can though and I will. It's about time you guys kicked back and enjoyed yourselves," Usagi grinned slightly," It'll be fine." " Usagi," her mom said after a long silence," this isn't like leaving you here for a weekend. We're talking about two months. It would be too dangerous for yourself alone." " Well, my friends could look after me," she suggested brightly," They're trustworthy, they have good grades and everything." She had just found a way to solve two dilemmas. Her parents glanced at each other thinking about it. Normally they would weigh it no, but their desire to go tipped it in favor of Usagi's suggestion. " I guess it would be okay," her dad said slowly. " We'll arranged everything for you over the two months and these rules, young lady, you have to follow them..." They and her brother Sammy still looked slightly worried but that faded away at the prospect of going on the vacation... So it had been. They left early this morning leaving behind tons of supplies for her, directions, strict rules and cautions. Then they had left on the plane. Later Setsuna had called. She had said there was something important she had to discuss with her. She had been glad she didn't leave. But then what Setsuna had said... " What!?" Usagi whispered her voice trembling with rage and disbelief. " I said Usagi, you aren't the Moon Princess after all!" Setsuna said to her for the fourth time, growing impatient. Usagi finally listened to this and said," What gave you that idea? Haven't I've proven time and again..." " Yeah, whatever. Listen dweeb," Setsuna said getting a nasty edge to her voice," you aren't the Moon Princess. Face it, I have found that Naru is the Moon Princess. You are a good friend, but our primary duty is to the Princess and you aren't her. The others and I have decided that you are to leave the Sailor Scouts and never get near us again. It was a unanimous decision. You're of no further use." Setsuna set her teacup down empathetically at that point. They were sitting in the living room of Usagi 's house. After Setsuna had called saying something about important business on the phone " Setsuna, I have the Moon birthmark, moon powers and total command over the Imperial Silver Crystal. I have my daughter Chibiusa who is heir and bears the mark too, how could you say I'm not the Princess?" " We determined you were just a decoy. You had similar powers to the Moon princess and faintly resemble her, but your powers are but a pale reflection of hers. Queen Serenity of the moon decided to send a decoy in case evil forces decide to try and get the Princess. She got you and substituted false memories as she'd done with the rest of the court and sent you to Earth along with all of the chosen ones as a safeguard. You're nothing. Serenity simply made you to resemble to Princess. The crystal you have at the moment's a decoy too, one that you can use with the powers she grant you. It's worthless, not the real crystal, we don't want to have anything to do with it. As for Chibiusa, she was the one who let us realize you're not the Moon Princess," Setsuna disdainfully explained," a few weeks ago she reappeared here, at this time, but she was different. Her features kept changing. Her hair turned brown and she had blue eyes. Yet she retained the birthmark and the hairstyle and answered to the name 'Chibinaru'. Mercury and Neptune did a series of examinations and tests and concluded she was still indeed the Moon heiress to the throne. That left the problem of her features changing and why. She is still flicking with the changes, but now when she has lavender/pink hair and red-like eyes she lacks the crescent mark. So we have found out the truth and we now interdict these terms on you. If any learns of our true identity out then we'll know it was your doing." Shocked, all Usagi could do was stare. Everything was crumbling around her. Finally she whispered," Couldn't we still be friends, Setsuna? Is that such a hard thing to ask?" " No," Setsuna said in an icy tone that froze Usagi's blood. " If you value your life, stay away." " Everyone has decided so?" Usagi whispered, her eyes filling with tears. Setsuna looked disgusted at the sight of Usagi's tears," Everyone," she snapped, finally losing patience. " That is the way it is. I, the Guardian of Time, have spoken! Also Usagi, you're on your own, Rei, Minako, Makato, and Ami are no longer going to look after you." Setsuna abruptly got up off her seat on the sofa, and crushed the teacup in her hands. It shattered and didn't even scratch her hands. She glared at Usagi meaningfully, and lifted her purse, which she had placed beside her, and walked out the door. She walked out without even saying good-bye. She left Usagi in a state of total shock that did more damage to her than if a thousand Chaos-ravaged Galaxias had attacked her all at once. " Ahem, Usagi," a voice said in back of her. " Luna?" Usagi said her voice trembling in relief at the realization that the black cat was still there," It isn't true, tell them they're wrong." " Actually, Usagi, I'm telling you that Setsuna is correct about her findings. Artimas and I have verified it ourselves. She was rather rough on you though. Some of the sensei did reluctantly agree to cut off contact. Setsuna just thought it best if we got the message to you to leave the Sailor Scouts alone. She had also neglected to mention that Chibiusa had also switched to a different form. In that one she has dark rich brown hair, hazel eyes, and the moon birthmark too. She also turns out positive as the moon princess. Future moon princess that is. Still, that third person rarely forms. We take that to mean that Naru could also possibly fall in love with someone else. It is rather selfish, but we'd like her to stick to Mamoru-" " But Luna," Usagi interrupted, her voice going squeaky. " Serena, don't do that anymore," Luna sounded irritated and broke off with what she had been saying," I am just telling you that due to the fact that you are not the Princess I am leaving," Luna continued calmly, her eyes shining eerily. Serena jerked back as if Luna had clawed her in the face. " Luna..." Usagi whispered, the feeling of betrayal obvious in her voice. " Stop that, I know it's going to be hard for you to shear off contact with the sensei, but they're serious. About hurting you if you get in the way. Now, to clarify a few last things with you for old times sake. Your mom left..." Usagi barely heard her. After Luna finished she bowed in the only way cats could and said," It's been nice knowing you." Then she left. Usagi could feel Luna was speaking the truth, about the other sensei in total agreement about abandoning her. She didn't know how, but she felt their contempt, their disgust, their pity, and their certainty of their choice. It struck her in her soul. She could only just sit there as the full implications sunk in, irreversible, undeniable, and totally permanent. It was dawning on her, and she finally broke down and wept. If you could call it weeping. A single tear formed and fell from her right eye. It was a true tear, the sort that had united the Imperial Silver Crystal, not the usual meaningless wailing tears. She cried for the sensei, for Endymion. They had turned their backs on her and yet she cried one last time for them. The tear dried and Usagi slowly began to think. Wasn't this what she wanted? To be normal, just like it was before it had all begun? No, it wasn't, she had gotten caught by the glory, she had felt love for the first true time, and it had made her life had meaning. It was now denied to her, now what was she going to do? No, Usagi thought vehemently, a cold rage descended on her as she turned and faced herself inside, truly for the first time. All this time, all her life she had simply just accepted what was handed to her, she worked against it for a while, but then had given in. Every time she had been reincarnated and a new yoma had shown up, Luna simply sought her out and reactivated her memories. Later the other scouts were back too, she had never questioned, letting herself being docilely lead along wherever they thought she was suppose to go. She touched the future, and saw her destiny, she had therefore and evermore had strained to keep it like it was suppose to. Following everything from the words handed to her as they came from the future just because they were from the future. She wouldn't give in to another one of their whims. She knew she was the Princess. Although her memories were dim, that meant nothing. It shouldn't have meant anything either to the other scouts. But then, if they had truly been her friends, it wouldn't have mattered, would it? Even if she really wasn't the princess that didn't mean they couldn't be friends again and they couldn't help each other. She slowly twisted the engagement ring Endymion had given her. He hadn't came to her to claim it. He had to still feel something for her. Her thoughts trailed on, long into the night, thinking of things, vows, and promises. The next day... Usagi actually got up early, partially due to the fact she couldn't really sleep. It was a Monday and she wasn't going to be late for school this time. So, the Inner Sensei weren't going to help her, she'd just show them. She finished breakfast easily and cleaned up. She got everything and took stock of the refrigerator. There was still a fair amount of food in it. It would be fine until the end of this week. Just as Luna had said. She got her lunch bag and her backpack and went out the door, locking it, after taking careful inventory of everything in case she missed anything. She set off for school. She glanced at her watch, she was an hour early. I'll run to school anyway, she decided. She dashed off at full speed to her school, practically leaving smoke in her wake. As she dashed along, she realized that there was a figure in her line of sight. Oops, maybe I should slow down, or veer a bit to the left, Serena thought as the figure's presence registered on her. Too late. In full force collusion, she smashed into the figure, her things scattering in a rough semicircle around her and her long hair in disarray. One day, Serena thought grimly with her hair half-blinding her and wincing from the pain, I am going to change my hairstyle. She got up unstably and regained her breath, she said hurriedly to the figure," Oh, I am so sorry! I didn't see you in time!" " That figures Odango Atama," the voice gasped in pain. Meat-Ball Head? She fully saw the figure for the first time. " Mamoru-san?" she asked disbelieving, she couldn't help herself. She threw her arms around him. He shook her off. " Usagi," he said in a cold, disapproving voice," I thought Setsuna told you to steer clear of us, you klutz." She drew back, stunned. Then, for some reason, as she just simply stared at him an icy chill seemed to contact her and she looked upon him with contempt and hate. She snapped out of it, greatly frightened and in need of support. Support Mamoru failed to give. He had missed the brief flash of alien emotion in Usagi's eyes. A first step to a crucial mistake. " Oh, yeah. Odango Atama I forgot, could you give me the ring I gave you back? The engagement is off you know." Usagi stared at him again, struck speechless with his audacity. " Usagi? Do you still have it or did you drop it down the sink as you were washing your face this morning?" Mamoru said to her. " Yes," Usagi said mechanically," of course I still have it. I love you, I thought you loved me, you pompous, egomatic jerk." She screamed at him, as she thought more and more about it. She twisted the ring off and threw it at him," Take it, I have no wish to be tied to an inconsiderate baka!" She got all her things and brushed past him coldly, continuing her way to school. Whoa, Mamoru thought, slightly stunned. What a tantrum she threw. I can't imagine what ticked her off that much to say that to me. Hmm. Oh well. He winced slightly in guilt, it's not like I really would ditch you Usagi, but the Princess is my true love and you're not her. Then Mamoru froze as a thought struck him. Hey, wait a moment, am I late for work? He hurriedly checked his watch, No, hey... Usagi is actually early! My gosh, what happened?
