Part 16 "Guys, she's waking up." a female voice said. I couldn't make out who is 
was, though. My head was pounding and I was afraid to fully open my already 
cracked eyes. The light was just too much. "Serena, are you alright?" a male 
voice asked. I turned my head in the direction of the voice and, regretfully, 
opened my eyes. "Darien?" a managed to hoarsely squeek out. "Yeah, it's me. How 
are you feeling?" he asked. "Like a few dozen horses were dropped on my head." I 
replied. I tried to sit up but soon found it seriously hard to do without all 
the pain. "Serena, you need to stay down and get some rest. Your pains will most 
likely go away faster if you do." another female replied. "Amy? Did we set them 
all free?" I asked hopeful. "Yes. You secceeded. We're all proud of you." Amy 
replied. "What about the Spirit Scouts, what happened to them? And Hercules, and 
the others?" I asked, relaxing. "After you were knocked unconscious, the Spirit 
Scouts went after Ares. That was the last we saw of them. Maybe they returned to 
the Gates of Time. And Hercules and the others....." Raye began. "Are right 
here." Hercules answered. "You need to get some rest now. There will be a lot of 
work to do on your Kingdom, and you'll need your strength." Lita said. 
"Alright." I said, finally giving in. "Come on everyone, out. She needs her 
rest." Mina ordered. Soon I was left in darkness. I didn't know where I was, how 
I got here, or even what exactly happened in that cave. As I slipped into the 
darkness of sleep, I was left with one thought, why is this happening to me? Why 
couldn't I have been a somewhat normal non-selfish princess? Slowly, I opened my 
eyes, allowing light to penetrate. I looked around the room. It was morning. I 
slowly sat up and kicked my legs over the side of whatever I was sleeping on and 
stood. My pains from the previous night had gone. I walked over to the door and 
pressed my ear up against it, listening to whatever was being said on the other 
side. "So what do you think?" "I think you're crazy, Darien. I really do. But 
you obviously seem to think this will work, so, I can't really do anything but 
agree with you. We must send Serena into hiding until this 'time period' is 
over." I stepped back from the door and stared at it for a few moments. They 
couldn't send me into hiding. What would that accomplish? I threw open the door 
and tried to calmly walk over to Darien. "I'm not going into hiding!" I 
insisted. "You heard, huh?" "Yes, I did. And I won't do it. I can try to find 
out just when this 'time period' is over then we can decide what to do. But, I 
will not go into hiding. Besides, he'll know where I am, always." "She's got a 
point, Darien. Ares will always know where she is." Amy finally spoke up. "Where 
are the others?" I asked, looking around the room. "Lita, Mina, and Raye went 
hunting. Setsuna went back to the Gate. Alex, Michelle, and Heather went for a 
walk. And Hercules, Jason, Iolaus, and Lilith went back to the Academy. There 
hasn't been any word from-" Darien answered. "Us!" a female voice called from 
behind us. I turned around and saw four female figures standing in the doorway. 
"So, where have you been?" I asked. "We followed Ares, found out as much as we 
could of this little problem as we could, and came back." Faith answered. The 
four of them walked in and took a seat at the table I was standing at. "Anything 
interesting?" I asked. "The time opening that Ares was referring to, is when all 
the planets align. They aligned two days ago and will last for another two days. 
That is the only time he has to get the crystal from you." Destiny answered. 
"But we found something even more interesting." Fate interrupted. "Do tell." I 
said, sitting in a chair at the table. "After the alignment, there will be an 
imbalance of power, during this time, you and the other Scouts will have only a 
few minutes to harness the power of the planets. If, in fact you do harness the 
power, you will become more powerful, more invincible, stronger even." Hope 
ended. "Interesting." "But YOU can only harness the power of the moon if you 
have the Silver Crystal." Faith said. "What if I don't have the crystal? Then 
what happens?" "You will no longer be the strongest warrior, or the leader of 
the Scouts. You will eventually become weaker. It won't be a pretty thing." Fate 
answered. "Then we have to keep Serena and the Silver Crystal safe for the next 
few days. Or else, we just might lose the next Moon Queen." Amy said. ~*~*~*~*~* 
WHO WOULD WIN IN A FIGHT: DARIEN/TUXEDO MASK OR LITA/SAILOR JUPITER? That's the 
last time I'll ask, and I'd better get some results. Plus, another thing. I am 
currently working on a few more stories that I might be sending in for you fine 
people to read and stuff. E-mail me and tell me if you think I should send them 
in.
