	Love Reborn	Chapter 5		Rated G/PG

	After their battle with Celaeno the scouts regroup at Rae's 
temple.  Everyone appeared to be fine even Baron despite the blast 
he took.  As they settled into comfortable seats in a circle Baron and 
Teresa were met with six pairs of questioning eyes and two cats that 
looked very much confused.
	"Where do we begin?" asks Teresa to no one in particular.
	"How about who you are?"
	"Where do you come from?"
	"Why do these people keep coming after you?"
	"Why do they call you princess?"
	The questions came from all the girls at once and Teresa 
smiles and shakes her head.  Baron rolls his eyes and rests his head 
in his hands.
	"What?" asks Rae as she takes the defensive.
	"Nothing really just that you guys haven't changed since the 
last time I saw you," says Teresa as she composes herself.
	"And when would the last time be?" asks Lita.
	"The silver millenium.  Serenity's 16th birthday to be exact."

	If that moon brat keeps this up I may just have to get rid of 
her myself.  Of course by now she has her sister and her friends 
working with her.  I'm just going to have to find a way to drive them 
apart.  An evil smile turns the corners of her black lips.  A plan is 
forming and this time it would not fail.

	*****	*****	*****	*****	*****

	"Did you say the Silver Millenium?" asks Ami in disbelief.  
"You had a crescent on your forehead are you from the Moon 
Kingdom?"
	"Yep," says Teresa with a nod of her head.  "I'm surprised 
you didn't tell them about me Luna I thought for sure you would 
remember me."
	"No I have no memory of you or your boyfriend," says Luna.
	"The all knowing Luna forgot about me?  Wow this is a first."
	The girls giggle and Luna looks to Artemis for support only 
to find him laughing too.  She just bows her head in defeat.  "Can we 
change the subject please?"
	"So if you're from the moon kingdom and they keep calling 
you princess does that mean I'm not the moon princess anymore?" 
asks Serena in a confused voice.
	"Don't be stupid spaghetti brain she's your sister," says Rae
 with heavy sarcasm.  
	"How do you know Rae maybe she's a cousin," retorts 
Serena.
	"Now that's the dumbest thing you've said all day."
	"How's it dumb?  It's possible."
	"Not really."
	"Please Rae, Serena, don't fight," interrupts Teresa as she 
takes a deep breath.  "I guess I'll have to do this the hard way."
	Teresa takes off her locket and opens it.  Inside is a pale 
blue crystal about the same size as the silver crystal.  Teresa drops it 
out of the locket and it hovers between her outstretched hands.
	"Memories of mine are now memories of yours," says 
Teresa in a whispered voice.
	The crystal begins to pulse with energy and a slim silvery 
blue beam extends from the crystal to each person in the room, even 
Luna and Artemis.  Memories come rushing back to everyone, the 
planned weddings, the battle with Alcyone, and the disappearance of 
Tranquility from their minds.  As the light fades back into the crystal 
Teresa sits back down drained from the use of the crystal.  Baron 
cradles her in his lap as he looks around to all of his friends.  He 
meets eyes with Darien and a smile is exchanged.  We have a lot to 
talk about it seemed to say.
	"Any questions?" asks Teresa with a yawn.

	*****	*****	*****	*****	*****

	"Come forth Maia!" shouts Queen Alcyone as she raises 
her staff high in front of her.
	A tall female figure steps from the shadows.  She is dressed 
in a strapless forest green gown that is trimmed with black jewels.  Her 
red hair falls long and loose down her back, stopping just short of her 
knees.  Green eyes stare back at her mother with evil shining through.
	"Mother," says Maia with a curtsey.
	"I want you to get me bait for my trap."
	"Anything mother."
	"Bring me the feline advisors, Luna and Artemis."
	"I shall not fail you mother," and with a curtsey Maia vanishes.
	Alcyone smiles and brings her viewing glass in front of her.   
Soon she would have the Sirius crystal and if she was even luckier the 
Silver Crystal.  Then she, Alcyone Queen of darkness, would rule the 
world.

	*****	*****	*****	*****	*****

	"Any questions?" asks Baron repeating Teresa's 
unanswered question.
	"I think that pretty much covered all of mine," says Mina.
	"Yeah I'm up to speed," says Lita with a smile.
	"This explains the crescent mark on your forehead earlier," 
says Amy as she types into her computer.
	"This is wicked cool!  Now I have a sister to replace that 
spore Sammy," says Serena with almost too much enthusiasm.
	"I think that any other questions can wait until tomorrow," 
says Darien as he puts a protective arm around Serena.  "Looks like 
Teresa needs some sleep and it is late."
	"Oh my gosh my parents are gonna kill me!" shrieks Teresa
 as she bolts up from her seat in Barons lap suddenly full of energy.  
"I'm sooo late!  Bye everybody."  With a wave she races out the door 
at speeds that could rival Serena.
	"Now I know she's related to you meatball head, she acts 
just like you," smirks Rae with a hint of mischief in her eyes.
	"I'm nothing like her you pyro," retorts Serena.
	"Really?  I find that hard to believe."
	"I've changed a lot since I was her age."
	"Um Serena," says Darien in a soft voice.
	"Just a minute Darien I have to set this Pyro straight."
	"Serena didn't your parent's want you home by 11?"
	"Yikes dad's gonna kill me I'm soo late gotta run guys bye," 
says Serena in a rush as she runs out of the temple at her usual 
breakneck pace.
	The rest of the scouts break out laughing at the obvious 
similarity between the sisters.  When the laughter dies down they 
decide to head home for the night and meet back at the temple 
tomorrow to discuss strategies to avoid a repeat of history.  Artemis 
decides to walk Luna home since he claimed that it was too 
dangerous for a cat like Luna to be walking alone this late.  The scouts
smiled knowingly while Luna just blushed as best a cat can.
	"You didn't have to walk me home Artemis," says Luna in 
a soft voice.
	"I know but I wanted to.  Besides it's a beautiful evening how
about a detour through the park?" asks Artemis trying not to sound too hopeful.
	"I'd love to Artemis."
	"Great."
	The two cats entered the deserted park and began 
wandering along the moonlit paths tails intertwined.  As they round yet 
another corner they come upon a lonely young woman crying into her 
long red hair.  The cats feel sorry for the woman so they decide to try 
and cheer her up by doing what cats do best, cuddling.  Artemis and 
Luna jump up to the bench, one on either side, and begin to rub up 
against her arms.  Slowly the sobs stop and the woman looks up with 
sad green eyes.  She places a hand on each cat and begins to pet 
them.  Artemis and Luna purr in response and soon the woman is 
smiling again.  
	"Thank you so much kitties you have made me feel so much 
better," says the woman.  "In fact you make me feel so good I think I'm 
gonna take you home with me."
	An evil undertone had crept into her voice and it made 
Luna's hair stand on end, something wasn't right here.  One look at 
Artemis confirmed her fears but it was too late because the woman's 
hair had already begun to wrap around their bodies trapping them.  
Then as they watched a dark light surrounded the woman and she was 
dressed in a long strapless green gown.
	"Hello moon kitties I'm Maia princess of darkness and your 
coming home with me."  A black portal opened up and the three 
figures disappeared.

	The next day at Rae's temple the four inner scouts, Darien, 
and Baron all sat waiting for two people.  Impatience was clearly 
written on Rae's face and Baron looked almost worried.
	"I'm gonna kill that meatball head," fumed Rae.  "Even when 
she can't get detention she's late."
	"Calm down Rae I'm sure she'll be here," says Mina in a 
cheery voice.
	"Maybe she was meeting Teresa after school," suggests 
Baron as he too paced the floor.
	"I think both of you should calm down," says Ami looking up 
from her advanced physics book.  "After all even Luna isn't here yet."
	"I bet she's still out with Artemis," says Lita with a look at 
Mina.
	"Don't look at me Arty didn't come home last night," says 
Mina with a shrug.
	"Give that back it's not fair you can't have it come on 
Serena."
	Everyone turns towards the door as the high pitched wail 
hits their ears.  A jumble of arms, legs, and blonde and silver hair 
comes running around the corner at breakneck speed.  Serena 
manages to get into the temple first and safely in the arms of Darien 
while clutching a piece of paper with all her might.  Baron manages to 
restrain Teresa before she runs into her sister.
	"Give it back Serena or so help me I'll kill you," shouts 
Teresa as she reaches for her locket.
	"Darien save me form that midget with my hairstyle," cries 
Serena as she buries her face in his coat.
	"I am not a midget super klutz."
	"Maybe you should give her back whatever it is you stole 
from her Serena," suggests Darien.
	"No way this is too good look," smiles Serena as she hands
the paper to Darien.
	"No Serena don't!" shrieks Teresa.
	But Darien doesn't even look at the paper he just hands it 
back to Teresa and is rewarded with a smile from the young girl.
	"Thank you Darien.  It's nice to know that some people are 
still nice to little sisters," says Teresa as she stuffs that paper in her 
bag.
	"I was only gonna show Darien," says Serena trying to look 
innocent.
	"Yeah and I'm the queen of Sheba."
	"Oh you little, tbbbbbbbb."  Serena sticks out her tongue.
	"Tbbbbbbbbb" returns Teresa as she sticks out her tongue.
	"Will you two grow up!" shouts Rae from across the room.  
"We have work to do."
	Both girls give one last glare to the other as they sit on 
opposite sides of the room.  Lita passes out cookies and cupcakes 
that she had made earlier.  Everyone stuffs their faces and finally 
even Serena and Teresa calm down.
	"So Mina did Luna and Artemis keep you up last night?" 
asks Serena.
	"Nope, Artemis never came home last night," replies Mina.
	"Luna didn't come home last night either.  Where do you 
think they could be?"
	"Rae could the fire tell you where they are?" asks Ami.
	"Maybe but it might take a bit," says Rae as she goes over 
to the sacred fire.
	While Rae meditates the other scouts go outside and start 
listening to a local radio station.  Suddenly the music stops and an 
announcer comes on the air.
	"Attention residents of Tokyo a monster has been sighted 
downtown.  Please stay in your homes the police will handle this."
	"I wouldn't stay home if you paid me mister," says Lita as 
she pulls out her transformation stick.
	"Let's dust that bully," says Mina with a nod.
	"Mercury Star Power!"
	"Venus Star Power!"
	"Jupiter Star Power!"
	"Moon Crystal Power!"
	"Sirius Crystal Power!"
	"Eldeberon Crystal Power!"
	The five scouts and two tuxedos transform and head 
downtown to destroy the latest monster.  When they arrive they see a 
human like creature except his skin is metal and his hands are 
replaced with scissors.
	"Hey ugly!" shouts Sailor Moon.  "You're destroying public 
property and ruining a beautiful day.  I won't let you harm anyone else.  
In the name of the moon I'll punish you!"
	"Just try and punish the mighty Metallo!" shouts the beast 
as he sends scissors blades flying at the scouts.
	Everyone manages to jump out of the way but that doesn't 
stop Metallo.  He keeps sending blast after blast and doesn't give the 
scouts a chance to regroup.
	"Metallo stop!" shouts a new voice.
	"Yes mistress," the beast stops his attack and steps aside 
revealing a woman dressed in a flowing strapless green gown with 
long red hair and emerald eyes.
	"Hello scouts I was wondering when you were going to 
show up.  I am Princess Maia and I have a message for you."
	The scouts all fall silent.  Tuxedo Taurus looks on with 
obvious disgust and pulls Silver Moon closer to him.
	"What do you have to say Maia?" growls Tuxedo Taurus 
with barely restrained anger.
	"Nice to see you too darling.  I've missed you," says Maia 
in a sultry voice.
	"Well what's the message so we can blast you," says 
Jupiter as she charges up her powers.
	"Fine then.  I believe you have two feline friends that are 
very dear to you am I right?"
	The scouts all look horrified at the thought of the missing 
Luna and Artemis.  Had this new villain captured them?
	"I'll take the silence as a yes.  Well I have them and if you 
want them you need to meet me at the park this time tomorrow or I 
get new fur slippers."
	With that and a blown kiss towards Tuxedo Taurus, Maia 
and the monster disappear from the street leaving seven very worried 
warriors.

The horror of it all!  Tee hee I do love to involve the cats in my stories.
