"Princess Serenity's Revenge" (part 4)

	"Mamo-chan!" Princess Serenity yelled as she sat up quickly in bed, 
throwing the covers off. Her heart was pounding and she heard footsteps 
coming towards her room.
	"Usagi, hunny, are you all right?" her mother asked worriedly as she 
opened the door and flipped on the lights. She was followed by her 
father, the scouts, and her guard, Brawnson.
	"Yes, mother, I'm fine. It was just a bad dream," Princess Serenity 
answered. Behind her mother she saw the scouts and Brawnson leave.
	"Was he here? Why did you yell his name?" her father asked sternly.
	"No, papa, he wasn't here. And I said, I was only having a bad dream," 
Princess Serenity replied.
	"You still didn't answer one of my questions! Why did you yell out 
*his* name!?" her father demanded, taking a seat on the edge of her bed.
	"Because, papa," she explained, "I was being taken away by some weird 
monster, or something, and he was trying to save me. But before he 
could, the most powerful monster stabbed and killed him." 
	Tears started to flow out of Princess Serenity's eyes. It had been five 
whole months sense they had seen each other and the princess wanted to 
see him more then anything in the world - no, in the universe.
	"But, sweetie, it's been five whole months, haven't you forgotten him 
yet?" her mother asked, confused. She'd been sure her daughter would 
have forgotten the prince by now.
	"No, mum, I love him too much to forget him. Don't you understand?" 
Princess Serenity laid back down and covered herself back up. "I'm okay 
now, really I am."
	"Well, dear, if you're all right now, goodnight," her father whispered, 
getting up and giving her a kiss on the forehead; right where her 
crescent moon symbol was. Her mother did the same, then turned off the 
lights and shut the door as she exited.
	"They would never understand, the couldn't," she whispered to herself. 
Then she decided to get up. 
	She got out of bed and walked into her washroom. She pulled her hair 
down out of its twin buns and brushed it out. She wanted to do something 
different with her hair for once. She tried putting it up in a 
pony-tail, then a half pony-tail. She looked just like Minako! She took 
her hair down and brushed it out again.
	"I'm definitely not putting it up how it usually is," she told herself. 
She let her hair all the way down so that it swept the floor.
	'Perfect,' she thought.
	She walked out of her washroom and went over to her closet to pick out 
a dress. It had to fit, not be too tight, and it had to be nice. She 
flipped through the closet, admiring each dress. When she got near the 
end she found a gorgeous white gown with a high waist. It would expand 
outward over her tummy before showing any signs of her pregnancy. After 
putting on the dress, slipping a pair of white house shoes on, and 
taking a brush to her hair once more she stepped in front of her full 
length mirror; admiring her beauty. As she exited her chamber she 
twirled a strand of her long blonde hair around her finger. She 
carefully walked down the stairs and gracefully entered the dining area.
	"Mother? Father? Hello?" she called, her voice echoing. Was anyone 
here? Then she heard the sound of laughter and music coming from the 
ballroom. 'The guests must be here all ready,' she thought, walking 
towards the big room at the end of the hall.
	She peeked her head in and saw her mother talking to a young man who 
had a striking resemblance to Mamoru, but with longer hair. 'This must 
be that Seiya boy,' she thought, taking a moment to stare at him. He was 
handsome, but not nearly as handsome as her Mamo-chan.
	"Mother!" Princess Serenity called. Her mother, upon hearing her name, 
looked over towards the door and noticed her daughter. Princess Serenity 
could see her mom pointing her out to the boy, who nodded in agreement 
to whatever she was saying. She saw her mother's hand wave her over, so 
she entered the huge room, her long hair flowing behind her. She noticed 
her mother's shocked expression when she noticed that her hair wasn't up 
in its usual style.
	"Hello, mother, is this the boy?" Princess Serenity asked, taking a 
seat next to her mother.
	"Yes, this is him," her mother replied, picking up some of Princess 
Serenity's hair. "Why isn't your hair up the way it normally is?" Her 
mother looked a little angry. 
	"Because, mum, I didn't feel like wearing it that way. Is it all right? 
Just for tonight, please?" Princess Serenity asked, taking her hair away 
from her mother. Apparently her mother didn't want to argue with all the 
guests around.
	The boy cleared his throat, and they turned their attention to him.
	"Oh, yes," Queen Serenity turned to face the young man once again, 
"this is Seiya." She pointed to him and he bowed.
	"Hello,  pleasure meet you," Princess Serenity said cheerfully, and 
extended her hand. 
	Seiya took her hand and kissed it lightly. "The pleasure's all mine," 
he replied smoothly. "Would you care to dance?"
	Queen Serenity got a little excited at the way their meeting had 
progressed so far, but fear crept into Princess Serenity's eyes. She 
could' t dance with him, he'd find out that she was pregnant!
	"I'm sorry. Perhaps later?" Princess Serenity told him quickly. She 
didn't want to hurt his feelings, but she couldn't let anyone find out. 
Her mother gave her an insistent look, but didn't say anything.
	"Sure, later," he repeated, looking at the queen then sadly walking 
away. Luna padded into the room and tugged on Princess Serenity's dress. 
The princess looked down and saw the black cat holding a letter in its 
mouth.
	"I'll be right back," Princess Serenity scooped the cat up into her 
arms and dashed out of the room leaving her mother with a perplexed look 
on her face.
	"Mamoru told me to give this to you," Luna said. Princess Serenity took 
the letter out of Luna's mouth, quickly unfolded it, and read it 
silently.
     My sweet Usagi,
	That's great..... I think. Your pregnancy will help to keep us 
together. They can't take away our child, can they? I'll try to be at 
the masquerade ball tonight. I'll be wearing a tuxedo, a top hat, a 
cape, and, of course, a mask. If you don't see me, or I haven't come 
yet, I'll meet you on the balcony at midnight. If your parents see us, 
introduce me as "Tuxedo Mask" and I'll try to change my voice a bit. So, 
Ill see you there, my sweetest. Hugs and kisses.

	Princess Serenity held the paper up to her heart. She was so happy that 
he'd be here. All the while, Luna was in a state of shock. She'd been 
reading over Princess Serenity's shoulder and she couldn't believe what 
she'd laid her eyes on. The princess was pregnant!
	"Usagi, does your mother know?" Luna blurted out. Princess Serenity 
knew exactly what her guardian cat was talking about. "No matter, I'm 
telling her!" Luna stormed off towards the ball room to find the queen.
	"Luna, no, please! I'll, um, tell her tomorrow. Please don't ruin the 
party, mum looks so happy!" Princess Serenity  begged, grabbing the 
cat's tail.
	"Ow!" Luna yelled in pain. "Fine, then, I won't tell her just yet. But 
I will her you don't tell her by 8:30 tomorrow night, got it? Now, let 
go of my tail!" Princess Serenity let go of the small black cat's tail 
and let out a sigh of relief. Luna looked a little concerned, but then 
she saw Princess Serenity. She had a big smile on her face and a look of 
peace in her eyes. She looked so happy; how could anyone ruin this 
moment? 
	"Princess, are you out here?" came a male voice. It was Seiya.
	'So much for the moment,' Luna thought. Princess Serenity stood up and 
handed the note to the cat, who rushed upstairs and hid it.
	"Yes, I'm here," Princess Serenity called back. She straightened up her 
dress and walked over to the double doors of the ballroom. "I'm coming."
	Despite her efforts to stay away from him, he took her hand and lead 
her back into the room. She glanced over at the grandfather clock in the 
corner, it read 11:50. 'Only ten minutes, thank goodness,' she thought. 
Then she saw a man sneak out onto the balcony; it was him. It was her 
Mamo-chan! Stars lit up in her eyes as she watched him leave the room.
	"I'm going to go get some fresh air, all right?" Seiya nodded his head 
and Princess Serenity rushed off to the belcany. She opened the doors, 
but found no one. She looked around, serveying the whole place. No one.
	Then came a voice.
	"You're ten minutes early. That's very not like you, Usagi. I'm 
impressed," a man stepped out from behind the door, a grin on his face. 
"Hey, odango atama! Where are those odangos for yours?" He laughed. 
Princess Serenity swirled around, and upon seeing the description her 
Mamo-chan gave, her eyes lit up. She gave him a questioning look and he 
smiled and nodded his head yes.
	"Mamo-chan!" she shouted, but not too loud as to disrupt any of the 
goings on. She ran to him and gave him a big hug, getting as close to 
him as her growing tummy would allow. He wrapped his cape around them 
both and hugged him back. He didn't hug her very tightly, because he 
didn't want to end up hurting her, or the baby. When they parted from 
the embrace, he looked her up and down. 
	"May I?" he asked, extending his hand towards her stomach. She nodded 
and he touched it, feeling his growing child inside. "When are you going 
to tell your parents?"
	"Tomorrow," Princess Serenity responded, "Luna told me I had to or else 
she will."
	Prince Endymion looked shocked.
	"You.... told her!?" her stuttered incredulously. 
	Princess Serenity once again nodded. "It's not my fault, though! She 
was reading over my shoulder," she told him. Just then the large clock 
struck midnight. 
	"I...," she started, but he hushed her before she could finish. He 
brought her close once again and kissed her. It was a deep, passionate 
kiss. One that told her they'd be together forever, no matter what. Not 
noticing that they had an audience, Seiya, they kept kissing. Seiya's 
heart lurched when he saw the two of them. He'd really liked Princess 
Serenity, and it killed him to see her kissing some unknown man. When he 
saw Queen Serenity walk over he quickly shut the door.
	"What's going on out there, Seiya? Where's my daughter?" Queen Serenity 
asked, looking him straight in the eyes.
	"Um,  nothing, ma'am," he said, trying to cover up for the princess. 
Queen Serenity saw right through his so-called cover up and pushed him 
aside. She opened the door and, right there in front of her, saw her 
daughter kissing.... who? Who was this masked man her daughter was 
kissing so passionately?
	"Princess Serenity!" the queen yelled sternly. Princess Serenity was 
startled and jumped. Prince Endymion was caught off guard, too. "I 
demand an explanation, young lady!"
	Her mom sounded majorly pissed off and Princess Serenity fumbled for an 
excuse. Prince Endymion just blushed.
	"Well?" the queen was growing impatient. Princess Serenity didn't know 
just how to put it. Should she just blurt out that she was pregnant 
right now? In front of Seiya?
	"Mum, well, um.. You see, I, um...," Princess Serenity searched for 
words.
	"I think I better be going now," Seiya told them, feeling akward and 
embarrassed. He left the balcony and walked through the crowds of 
dancing people.
	"Queen Serenity," Prince Endymion said in a voice deeper then his own. 
The queen had an odd feeling of deja-vous, but she just couldn't place 
the boy in her memory. (Remember, it's been five months sense she's seen 
him), "I'm sorry I caused such an inconvenience. I'll be going now. 
Good-bye, my Usagi." He hugged and kissed her one last time, then 
started to walk towards the balcony door.
	"No!" Princess Serenity suddenly shouted. She ran over to Prince 
Endymion and grabbed his arm. "Don't go again. I can't live any longer 
without you." She looked up at him with big, pleading eyes.
	"But I must go, my odango atama. Don't worry, I'll be back to visit you 
and, um, yeah. You know," Mamoru said. He didn't want to get caught, but 
he also didn't want to leave. "I love you." She still didn't let go.
	"And who? Who will you visit other then my daughter?" the queen asked, 
trying to find out more about the young man. Luna had walked in and was 
watching as Princess Serenity searched for the right words.
	"Mum," Princess Serenity whispered.
	"Yes, dear?" Queen Serenity replied.
	"I don't know how to tell you this, but I guess I have to," Princess 
Serenity began. She clutched Prince Endymion's arm harder. He knew she 
was going to tell her mom. "I'm, um,.. Well, him and I, um,.. Mum, I'm 
pregnant!" Princess Serenity quickly hid behind her love. 
	Queen Serenity's face turned red with anger. "You're what!?" she 
screamed. The music inside stopped and everyone looked over at them.
	"I'm pregnant," Princess Serenity replied sheepishly. She clutched 
Momoru's arm even tighter, cutting off circulation.
	"Ow, odango atama! Not so tight!" Prince Endymion laughed, trying to 
lighten the mood. But he forgot to change his voice and the queen 
instantly recognized him.
	"I should have know it would be you, Prince Endymion!" the queen 
shouted, pointing an accusing finger at him. "How dare you talk my 
daughter into rebelling like this! How dare you *rape* her!" Queen 
Serenity didn't even try to hid her anger, not one bit.
	"But, mama, he didn't talk me into it! And don't even say that he raped 
me! He didn't and wouldn't! Besides, he didn't even want to do anything 
in the first place! It was my fault!" Princess Serenity told her as she 
began to cry. She lessened her grip on Mamoru's arm.
	"It's okay, Usagi. It'll be okay," Mamoru comforted. He took her into 
his arms and wrapped his cape around her. She cried into his shirt, 
soaking it all the way trough. He kissed her lightly on the head and 
gently rocked her in his arms. "We'll be all right, the three of us. Me, 
you, and our child." Princess Serenity's sobs turned into whimpers and 
he kissed her on the head again.
	"Hunny, look, you knew this wasn't the answer. Why did you do it?" 
Queen  Serenity asked softly. She hated to see her daughter so unhappy. 
She saw how much they cared for each other, but she was way too steamed 
to keep her cool for much longer. Her daughter didn't answer, she just 
kept crying. 
	"Well, young man," Queen Serenity's voice turned harsh again, "I guess 
we'll just have to heighten security, we don't want you to sneak in 
again. And if I ever catch you around my daughter again, I'll kill you 
myself! Now leave!"
	Princess Serenity gasped. 'No,' she thought, 'this can't be. Mum has to 
understand!'
	Prince Endymion lowered his gaze and slowly let go of his princess. 
"Good bye," he mumbled, and walked out of the palace. Princess Serenity 
shot a nasty look at her mother and then ran up to her chamber. She laid 
face down on her mattress and cried into her pillow. Downstairs her 
mother apologised to the guests and told them that the party now had to 
end. For a whole a month after that Princess Serenity didn't talk to her 
mother, and her father was too angry to talk to anyone.

Oh my jeeze! Mamoru's been banished! What will happen?! *heh heh* Guess 
you'll just have to wait!!! I know and you don't! Ha, ha!! *giggles* 
Don't worry, don't worry. You'll find out soon enough what happens 
between Usagi and Mamoru. And what about the baby?? You'll just a have 
to wait!!! :-p
