Sailor Moon Quasar: A Plutonian Girl and Her Dog Chibi-Mamoru Darien Chiba Chapter 4 Event 4B: Soliloquy 3 Two more years pass. As luck would have it, I spent a lot of my time going to school and doing homework and undergoing training at the Time Gate and at Cherry Hill Temple. During this time, I spotted Raye's daughter Ariadne and thought that she is simply the most precious little thing that ever was. When I approached Ariadne for the first time on April 10, 2993, she drew back and I advanced, not understanding that Ariadne is afraid of large crowds and strange people. Unfortunately, Raye, thinking that I was going to harm Ariadne in some way, busted me and made me help her clean out the fire pit which is a job that normally takes 18 hours. Shoveling out those ashes . . . oh, God!! On the way home that day, or should I say, later that night, Cereberus advised me to tell my parents the truth about why I was late. Given what Kerwin did to me for lying about that zero, I was only too glad to take Cereberus's advice. When I got home, Sharon and Kerwin were waiting for me to arrive. I apologized for my tardiness and said that Raye held me over for something. You want to know what happened next? My parents had rump roast for dinner and guess who's providing the rump. That's right, yours truly. After that, I was sent to bed without supper. The next day, Ariadne made her first debut as Quasar Sailor Mars. All I'll say of this event is this: it's going to be a hot time in the old town tonight. A week later, Clotilda made her first debut as Quasar Sailor Jupiter, something Quasar Sailor Uranus did not like one bit. I found myself interceding on behalf of Quasar Sailor Jupiter whenever Quasar Sailor Uranus persecuted her. Quasar Sailor Jupiter is NOT innocent, however. Quasar Sailor Jupiter, for one reason or another, cannot stand Quasar Sailor Mars, arguing that her mental powers gave her an unfair advantage in combat and that they should not be used. Anyway, while waiting for my turn one class, I noticed a relationship of competition developing between Quasar Sailors Jupiter and Uranus as far as katas go, each trying to outdo the other. Sailors Jupiter and Uranus turn to each other clearly impressed by their daughters' enthusiasm and the near flawlessness of their katas. Quasar Sailors Jupiter and Uranus became model students and something for everybody else in the class to strive for. But when Quasar Sailors Jupiter and Uranus sparred, I find myself wondering if they know that they are only practicing. Quasar Sailor Mars has now entered into the arms race and is rapidly catching up. Thinking that Quasar Sailor Mars is enthusiastic and likes the training, Sailor Mars is pleased with her performance. Quasar Sailor Mars is not without her share of being persecuted and I split my time protecting Quasar Sailor Jupiter from Quasar Sailor Uranus and Quasar Sailor Mars from both Quasar Sailors Jupiter and Uranus and setting an example for Quasar Sailor Neptune so that she can hold her own when she's sparring with Quasar Sailor Saturn. Recipe for a major nervous breakdown, eh? Cereberus and Quasar Sailor Neptune's guardian Steller's sea eagle Triton are a big help in defusing some of this stress before I explode. On April 24, 2993, Amy's daughter Hermione and Mina's daughter Cara showed up on the scene as Quasar Sailors Mercury and Venus respectively. Quasar Sailor Venus, the youngest of us all, is what eventually stopped this stupid arms race between Quasar Sailors Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus. All three fell in love with Quasar Sailor Venus and realized that the training they were undergoing was for their personal benefit. The only ones Quasar Sailors Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus had to impress were themselves, not their mothers or even Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion. Quasar Sailor Mercury tried to start up the arms race again but soon quit when she realized that a race is no fun when you're the only contestant. Quasar Sailors Mercury and Uranus, being the pugnacious souls that they are, immediately clicked when they saw each other as two competitive souls who enjoy physical activity like fighting. Anyway, Cara was an unusual individual in that she kisses and gropes the people she likes. I have seen her do this to Hermione, Ariadne, Clotilda, Cleopatra (who hates it), Cecelia (who gladly returns the gesture), and Irvette. Even I fall prey to Cara every now and again. If that's not enough, get this: every now and again, Cara expects her friends to grope her or let her grope them so that she can feel loved and "love" others. Now let me tell you what Cara's definition of love is. To Cara, love means being held, kissed, groped, caressed, hugged, grabbed, rubbed, fingered, tickled, and other forms of positive touch being exchanged between two or more people. If nobody does that to her, Cara feels neglected and is prone to throwing temper tantrums which result in the object of her anger or disappointment wrapped in chains. But all in all, Cara is the little sister almost everybody wishes they had. Cute, sweet, funny, affectionate, innocent, and naive, Cara brought us all together over the next year and a half to accomplish our common goal: to give Reenie a good fight in the upcoming tournament.
