   Chapter 6:  How I Found Out About Beryl's Plans

[ Author's Notes:  Sorry I took so long in getting this chapter ready to read.  
I, in a way, got amnesia about this whole story and left it alone for a couple 
of weeks.  I am very sorry for the delay. I hope you like the finished product.]

	Well, in this story you will see some characters that shouldn't appear 
until quite a few chapters down the line. The reason they appear now is because 
they want to either kill me or brainwash me.  But that is unimportant right now.  
So lets get moving with this story, already.


	"Mother," I said, standing in front of her, "you called?"
	"Yes, my dear I did," she said evilly.
	"Why?" I asked starting to get nervous.  The queen did not know that I had 
made a friend while I had been on earth.  I wasn't about to tell her that I had 
found the Moon and Sun princesses also.
	"The royal family of the Negamoon is coming," she said now calm and quiet.
	"They are?" I asked with a bit of relief in my voice.
	"Yes they are," she said.  All of a sudden I remembered that there was one 
person in the family of the Negamoon I didn't want to come. The Wise Man.
	"Mom, why exactly are they coming?" I asked.
	"It is a reunion.  Both the Negaverse and the Negamoon need to get 
together more often.  Why do you ask?"
	"Is the whole Negamoon family coming to this event?" I asked.
	"No, my dear, The Wise Man won't be able to join us this time.  Only 
Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald and Rubeus plus the 4 sisters can make it.  I meant 
to tell you this two weeks ago, but I figured you would be to tired after your 
journey back."
	"Oh, well, when do they arrive?" I asked.
	"In two hours," she said.
	"May I greet them, mom?" 
	"Yes. In fact, that is the reason I called for you."
	"Well I will be waiting in the transporter room in 2 hours," I said, "may 
I be excused, mom?"
	"Yes, you may Justine," she said smiling, "I suppose you want to get ready 
to meet them."  I left the room only to find Zoicyte huffing and puffing in 
front of me.  It was actually Malachite disguised as Zoicyte.  I didn't let on 
that I knew who it was.
	"What is the matter, Zoicyte?" I asked with mock concern.  I knew what had 
happened.  I had sensed the whole thing while talking with Beryl.  Jed and Neph 
got into a fight because Jed had said something about me that Neph did not like, 
so Neph struck out in anger.  "Wait, don't tell me.  Neph and Mal are fighting 
yet again."
	"How did you know?" Asked the still disguised Mal.
	"I sensed it while I was talking to Beryl."
	"Oh.  So are you gonna do something about it?"
	"Yes," I said, "I will be there in a few minutes."  Once Malachite had 
changed back to Zoicyte, I transported in as the Evil Masked Defender.  This was 
my training uniform. 
	"So this is how you like to spend your time Jed? Fighting the best of our 
generals."
	"Princess, I want you to know that the only reason we are fighting is 
because I - we think Neph is getting more attention than we are."
	"And who is we?"
	"Well, Mal, Zoey, and I."
	"I don't think that's the truth," I said smugly, for Mal and Zoey, who had 
only heard Jed say that, were behind me, "because if they were on your side, 
wouldn't they be standing behind you?"  He bowed his head and quickly left the 
room.  I turned into my regular princess form and exited with Nephlyte.
	"Thanx for the save.  I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't 
come in the way you did," he said pulling me closer to him.  
	"Well,  it wasn't much," I said modestly.
	"You aren't supposed to be in the Negaverse if you are as modest as that."
	"Oh, Neph," I laughed, "you are so funny.  I love you.  You are the 
greatest man who ever lived."
	"Thank you very much Justine," Neph said, "but I am hardly a man."
	"That is not true," I said, "not at all!!!!!"  We kissed for what seemed a 
long time until I said that I had to greet a few people in two hours.
	"Not the Negamoon again," he said angrily.
	"What is wrong with the Negamoon?  I happen to like the four sisters," I 
said confused and not too happy.
	"I just don't like them okay, Justine," he said, "if you will excuse me, I 
have to get ready myself.  Wouldn't want to miss Diamond, Sapphire and Rubeus."
	"So you're jealous?" I said.  "Well you won't have to worry about them, 
because I love you and only you."
	"Well that is good to know, but I want to make sure you don't start making 
out with Sapphire."
	"Like that would aver happen."
	"Well, you never know."
	"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
	"It means just that."
	"You really don't trust me, do you?" 
	"I trust you.  I don't trust Sapphire, Diamond or Rubeus."
	"Oh.  So you don't trust my three brothers."
	"Huh?" he said confused.
	"They are not real brothers, but they are just as close.  Katrina why are 
you here instead of my room?"
	"Oh, well.  Please lead the way your highness.  You must get ready for 
your meeting with the Negamoon family," said Katrina, my lady in waiting.
	"Thank you, Katrina," I said.
	"Justine," said Neph.
	"Yes, Neph?" I asked putting my arms around his neck.
	"Is The Wise Man coming, too?" asked Neph.  He hated The Wise Man just as 
much as I did.  We despised him as much as Darien loves Serena.
	"No," I said giving him a small kiss on the nose.
	"Thank God," he said relieved.  He kissed me for a long time and then left 
me to get ready for the meeting.
	"I love you, Neph," I whispered, "I love you more than anything."

* * * * *

	"Oh Justine,  you look wonderful.  Its so good to see you again," said 
Catsy, who had been the one sister closest to my heart.
      "Yes, princess, you do look quite well," said Diamond.
      "You look nice," said Sapphire totally unenthusiastic about how I looked.  
He was looking at Prisma, who was hanging on to him as if for dear life. 
	"Nice? How can say you this goddess before you is just looking nice?"  
said Neph exasperatedly.  Well at least he doesn't have worry about me and 
Sapphire making out, I thought to myself, Prisma has filled in that position 
quite nicely.
	"Neph, this is not necessary,"  I said, "I am quite fine with what 
Sapphire said.  It is his opinion.  Everyone has his or her own opinion."  Neph 
gave Sapphire a look that made me squirm.  Neph didn't mean to be the way that 
he was but he was that way no matter what. I loved him for it too, not just for 
his constant attention, but for his protectiveness of me.  It may have been 
quite annoying at the time but it would be my safety at one point in my life.
	"Neph?" I said
	"Yes my princess," he said as looked at me smiling evilly.
	"We will talk later.  In my quarters perhaps," I said before kissing him 
passionately and sliding my tongue deep into his mouth.
	"I hope that was preview of what we are gonna talk about," he whispered 
into my ear.
	"You know what it was," I said giving him a smile that made him kiss me 
just as hard as I had earlier that day.  We finished kissing and walked down the 
hall.  When we finally got to the dining room, he gave me a loving hug and then 
helped me to my seat.
	"Mmmm . . . I love you," I said.
	"When will we meet?" he whispered.
	"After dinner, when else?  Now could you sit next to me at the dinner 
table and not think of that right now.  My mother has an announcement to make 
tonight about something important.  It may have to do with what we had to find 
out about Earth."  I loved the way he looked at me at that moment.  It was the 
sweetest look he had ever given me.  
	"Okay," he whispered, "when she says what she has to say, and we finish 
dinner,  may we please have that talk you want us to have in your quarters?"
	"Yes, Neph," we will.  The queen finally entered the room with the other 
three generals who bowed to me and the others.  Jed gave Neph an angry look and 
threw me a folded  piece of paper.  It was a note telling me to meet Jed after 
dinner.  I looked to him and shook my head answering his request.  He gave me a 
look and I made the gesture to him to fuck off.  
	"May I have your attention please?" my mother asked politely.  Everyone 
quieted down and looked toward her.
	"Mother, is this having to do with the reason we went down to Earth?" I 
asked. 
	"Why, yes it does. How did you know?" she asked.
	"I guessed," I said.
	"Good guess," said Neph.
	"I am going to make this quick, because you all have more important duties 
than just listening to me.  I am quite happy that my daughter went down to 
earth.  She found a very rich supply of energy in a place called Tokyo.  It is 
very important that we get more energy fore the Negaforce.  If we don't, we 
could all die from energy loss."
	"Oh.  So when do we start," I asked.
	"Just like you, Princess," said Zoicyte.
	"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Nephlyte, his anger rising.
	"Oh Justine knows what I mean, but if you insist on knowing I'll tell you 
Neph.  Justine loves to get a head start on things like this, that's all."
	"Oh," said Nephlyte, now calmer and pretty much convinced.  I wasn't about 
to tell him her true meaning.  I bowed my head to her and my mother, which was 
the signal to go on.
	"Well we won't start for a few years.  Three to four at the most.  Now, if 
we may, we may have a toast.  To the future of the Negaverse."
	"To the Negaverse," everyone said.  We ate our dinner and then Neph and I 
excused ourselves and we went to my quarters.
	"Oh, Justine.  You look ravishing in that dress, but I wonder what your 
wearing underneath it?"  Neph said staring at me.
	"General Nephlyte, I asked you here to talk," I said.
	"Not to make out?" he asked in a mocking tone.
	"Well, that's for later.  I am serious about talking to you.  I want to 
ask you if you want to go through with this mission.  I had a vague feeling this 
would happen.  I also have a vague feeling it won't be totally successful.  I 
had this dream that you died.  I am so afraid for our relationship."
	"Don't worry," said Neph, "I am still alive now.  It couldn't be as bad as 
it sounds.  It may have been a nightmare.  I have feeling, if it was true, that 
if I do die I will come back to you.   Nothing can keep us apart.  Nothing at 
all.  Our love is way too power to ever stop."
	"You positive?" I asked.
	"Of course I am positive.  I wouldn't say it if I weren't," he said giving 
me a warm kiss on the lips.  At that moment I kissed him back as I felt a tear 
fall down my face.  Yet again, Neph had brought a tear to my eye.  He was great 
at being a lover, and he was the best fighter on the Negaverse.  That was not 
just my opinion, but a fact throughout the whole Negaverse.  The next morning, 
Neph, the Negamoon family, the other generals, and I  started training for what 
would be the longest and possibly the most hazardous journey in our lives.  It 
was the start of my really weird life.

[Author's notes:  well Chapter 7 through 11 will be about Justine's life up 
until now.  I hope you enjoyed the romance and every thing in this story.  I 
would love to hear feed back from every one.  Well just wait and see the rest of 
my chapters.]
