Disclaimer: I don?t own Sailor Moon. I just borrowed the Characters for
awhile. (Although, I wouldn?t mind owning Darien?)

              Desperate Part 4

 Luna skidded to a halt, her anxious eyes taking in the scene in front
of her. Darien was kneeling behind Serena, with his back to Luna,
clutching her to his chest, his body shaking with silent sobs.
 *NO!* THOUGHT Luna, shaking her head. *No! I can?t let it end here! I
WONT!*
 So strong was her tone that as she said this, her crescent moon began
to gleam brightly on her forehead, the royal symbol shining a moon beam
directly in front of Luna.
 Slowly, the beam took shape, becoming the form of Queen Serenity.
 Luna bowed her head as a sign of respect. "My Queen, the Princess,
she?" Luna broke off as the Former Queen Of the Silver Millennium put a
finger to her lip. And gently shook her head.
 Then, she gracefully turned, and glided on silent feet, to the back of
the alley, where, deep in the shadows, Princess Serena lay in an eternal
sleep.
 "Prince Endymion." The soft voice, strengthened  by years of a life in
authority, and sounding so much like his dear Serenas?, shook him out of
his reverie.
 Darien spun around on his knees. "Queen Serenity. I have failed you and
the Princess Yet again. I await my punishment."
 Gently, Queen Serenity reached out and touched Dariens? chin, tilting
it upwards. "Arise, Prince Endymion. If we act quickly, Princess Serena
can be saved."
 Confused, Darien got to his feet, and took the hand stretched out to
him by Serenity.
 The Instant that their hands touched, he was Darien no more. In his
place stood Endymion, Prince of Earth, ready to Defend his Princess, no
matter what the cost.
