Hi, people. I'm done with Part III of Mercury Knight. *Sarcastically* Gee, thanks for the comments. Any ways, thanks to Lady Jupiter and Starina for ideas and encouragement to finish this. Disclaimer: Sailor Moon is created and stuff by Takeuchi Naoko. It is owned by DIC and other people. By writing this, I claim no ownership to Sailor Moon. Mercury Knight, Part Three Amy brushed her hair carelessly, as it hadn't been done in the last day or so. It was already eleven o'clock, and the scout meeting was to be at noon. She hummed softly to herself, not believing that Greg wasn't really from the Negaverse, it was strange to think about it, you know? Not meaning to be depressing, but if your favorite grandmother died, or your dog got hit by a car, and had died on the way to the vet the week before, it was strange, you know? It didn't function in your brain. It hadn't sunk in. This shock was for the better, yet it was still a foreigner to her mind. The thought ran through her mind, running through like a rapid river, not slowing, yet a surprise every time she tried to force her way in, and sometimes she felt a delicious chill run threw her spine. Greg wasn't from the NegaVerse. She walked slowly towards Raye's temple, it was a wonderful day, the sun was shining down upon her face, and everything seemed so peaceful. She walked silently, until she faintly heard some crying. It was hiccuped-filled, and the person sounded as if they were in much pain, greif. Amy looked around, seeing no one, yet the wailing grew louder, and louder, and louder. It was then Amy noticed the telephone booth. Serena sat, huddled in a ball, her face leaning against the transparent glass, which was smudged up with tears. Serena's hair was a mess, and she was mumbling softly to herself, as more tears trickled down her face. Amy knocked upon the glass, yet the girl didn't look up. She knocked once more, before opening the door, and joining Serena on the floor. "What happened, Serena? Do you want to talk about it?" Serena looked up, tears glistening her large sapphire eyes. Her eyes, they were dull, lifeless, the feeling had been drained out of them. This was not the Serena Amy knew. So uncheerful, so...so...dead. "Oh Amy, it was awful," she sobbed, her head resting on Amy's shoulder, "I...I...I ....thought he cared. He used to be so open and caring, but he's gone." She began crying harder now, as if stating the fact aloud made things seem worse. "Oh Serena," Amy murmered, and patted the girl's back reassuringly, "It will be alright. Darien doesn't hate you." "Yes,..... he does. He told me it would be best if we didn't see each other anymore. I.....I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. Oh Amy, it was terrible." She began sobbing some more, "And everything was alright, until.....Flamingo head showed up." A piece of paper flew from the sky, and landed delicately in front of the phone booth. Serena raised her head and stared at it in wonder, as if she had never seen a sheet of paper before. She sniffled a moment, before wiping her eyes and nose on her sleeve, and went outside and grasped the paper. "It's for a new cosmetic store," Serena announced, after she read the flier, "come on, Amy, let's go see what it's about." She dragged Amy to her feet, and started quickly walking to the location of the shop, her tears dried, near forgetting that Darien had dumped her. ---------- "Where is that girl?? Serena is always late. I bet she's sleeping, or something," Raye said, angrily. "Yeah, but Amy's late, too. And Luna's not here either," Lita pointed out. "Hey Greg," Mina looked at him, "You're Amy's boyfriend, do you know where she is??" "No," he said uncomfortably, and shifted his sitting position on the floor. He hadn't received any visions, and it wasn't like Amy to be late, "I'm getting worried though. She would have called if she was going to be late." "Mmm, hm," Lita nodded, agreeingly. Raye's communicator began beeping profusely, and she picked it up, an alarmed look upon her face, "Yeah??" Mercury's face stared back at her, "Scouts, we need some back up. We're at that new cosmetic shop in the center of town. The saleswoman turned into a monster." "Alright Amy, we'll be right there." Raye shut off the communicator, and looked at the waiting expressions on everyone's face, "Sailor Scouts, it's time for action. Mars Power!" "Alright, let's move, Jupiter Power!" "Venus Power!" "Jupiter Knight Power!" "Mercury Knight Power!" Transformed, the scouts watched in amazement as Greg turned into Mercury Knight. "Greg, what the--" "That's why Ames called the meeting. Now come on. They could be hurt!" The scouts and knights took off for the new cosmetic shop, running quickly upon the roof tops, searching for the new store. ------- "Say goodnight, Blondie," Droidie yelled, and lunged towards Sailor Moon, who lay in a pile of powder in a corner. Mercury lay wounded by the cash register, as blood gushed from a wound on her stomach, both scouts face's were scratched, bloody, and bruised. Each girl was weak from the attacks, and tired from trying to defeat the monster. Droidie lunged towards Sailor Moon, mouth opened, ready and waiting to spew its contents at the heroine. Sailor Moon cried out in fear, as a rose cut the attack short, "Who threw that," Droidie yelled in rage. Tuxedo stood by an open window, cape swaying slightly in a small breeze. Cane in hand, he let out a speech. Sensing the droid was distracted, Mercury stood and called out, "Mercury Ice Bubbles, FREEZE!!!" Droid began shivering violently, as ice covered its body. "Now, Sailor Moon!" "Gotcha, Moooon Sceptre, ELIMINATION!!" The droid turned into dust, and the dark gem faded into nothing upon the cold floor of the shop. Sailor Moon stood, and looked at her rescuer. "Tuxedo, you saved me. Does this mean you still care about me?" She asked hopefully, with a hint of excitement in her voice, as she stood to face the masked man. "No, Sailor Moon. I told you it was over. I just did this for old times sake. But we're through. I'm not going to live my life based on something that happened a thousand years ago. Times change, Sailor Moon. It's best to leave the past behind us," he turned and walked off into the sunset, not once turning back, "Darien," she whispered, as tears fell anew from her face, splashing softly upon her cheeks, "I'll win you back, yet. I'll get tougher. Oooh, you won't be able to resist me." She choked softly on her tears, and fell to her knees, "Oh Tuxedo..." Mercury patted her back softly, as the other scouts arrived. "Guess we were too late," Mars sighed after a moment of surveying the area." "Yeah, I guess so," Moon said, irritated, and detransformed back into the over-emotional crybaby, Serena. Tears still fell softly against her face, her hair blew softly around her head, her face held a look of determination, as she walked off, rolling up her sleeves. "What happened with her," Venus asked, confused. Yet no one replied to her question, as they stared after their leader. End Should I add more to this story? Let me know, kay?
