		   Unexpected Surprises
	                 Part 1: Accepting Defeat
				


   As the Nyx sisters awaited dawn, the senshi were at unrest. They 
worried about what would happen next. At last a streak of sunlight peeked 
from those high skyscapers and the Nyx sisters marched to victory.  The
senshi, transformed and fought helplessly against the sisters. Weakened, the
senshi regrouped at the Tuskino house. Trying to figure out a plan, Luna
gave them shocking news.
   "Girls, I'm afraid there isn't much we can do now. The Nyx sisters are 
going to blow Tokyo to bits!" Luna told everyone.
   "We spoke with Queen Serenity and she has informed us that Crystal 
Tokyo has been completed and we must seek shelter at the palace." Artemis
explained.
   "But what about Tokyo?!" Usagi asked.
   "There's nothing we can do to stop them. They're too strong." Luna said.
   "What's wrong Usagi-chan?" Ami asked Usagi, who was weeping softly.
   "I don't want to leave mama and papa, and Shingo," Usagi sobbed.
   "There's nothing we can do, Usagi," Michiru said.
   "Can't we take them with us?" Usagi asked hopefully.
   "I really doubt that, Usagi," Luna said, "They'll die from the lack of oxygen on the moon."
   "Hey! Where's Artemis?" Minako suddenly asked.
   "Huh?" said everyone, puzzled at Minako's sudden question.
   "Well, he was here a few minutes ago," Luna said.
   "LUNA! I HAVE GREAT NEWS!" Artemis screamed.
   "Artemis, shut up. Someone will hear you!" Minako said, "Where were you?"
   "I had a brief talk with Queen Serenity and she said that for gratitude
of taking care of Usagi, she will allow the Tsukino family to stay at the
palace." Artemis said.
   "How's that possible? They won't be able to breathe up there!" Rei said.
   "I asked about that, she just said not to worry, she would figure
something out," Artemis said.
   "GREAT!" Usagi said jumping up and down.
   "We should really hurry because we only have twenty-five minutes before
the Nyx sisters launch their final attack." Artemis said.
   "Umm.. everyone. We're sort of overlooking an important point. How is the
Tsukino family going to believe us?" Makoto said quietly.
   "She's got a good point," Ami said.
   "We could say that we'll explain later on," Minako said.
   "Usagi, we'd better go. To ensure your saftey, we're bringing you to the
palace first. Prince Endymion and you mother is waiting for us there," 
Artemis said.
   "Okay. Luna, Artemis..... let's go." Usagi said.
   "Let's see... hows this sound? Excuse me Mr. And Mrs. Tsukino, but Tokyo
is going to be blown up in 20 minutes and we plan on bringing you to shelter
on the moon," Minako said.
   "Is that supposed to be sarcastic?" Rei asked.
   "You got a better idea?" challenged Minako.
   "No," Rei admitted.
   "Then let's go! We don't have much time!" Ami hurried.
