Special 1:  Much Ado About Nic
-----------------------------------

	Nichole Chiba was born July 25.  When she was two years old, she and her 
twin sister, Raye, were left with family while while their older brother, 
Darien, went on a trip with his mother and father.  The car slid off a wet road 
and and landed upside-down near a river.  Taking his wife and son for dead, 
Darien's father left to find his daughters.  After Darien was taken to the 
hospital, the doctors told him both his parents had died.  They had no record on 
either of his sisters.  While Raye was given to her grandfather, Nic was given 
to her aunt and uncle.  Raye adopted the last name "Hino" from her grandfather, 
as Nic did from her aunt.  Her uncle decided to move back to his birthland, 
America.  In Wyoming, the entire family was know as the Shields.  Nic soon 
learned her father had died in England, although his reasons for going there and 
cause of death were unknown.  Her uncle died when she was seven.  Her aunt never 
remarried and, as far as she knew, was Nic's only living relative.  On her 
twelveth birthday, Nic's favorite present was a small black and white kitten.  
She noticed a star on his forehead and it remined her of something long ago.  
She named him Apollo.  When she turned thirteen, something strange happened.  
She had woken up from another nightmare.  It was 1:19.  Suddenly, she heard a 
voice calling her.  She looked to the foot of her bed, as if by instinct.  
Apollo was calling her.  For a brief second, she thought it was funny for a cat 
to be calling her instead of the other way around.  Then, a flood of memories, 
images, names, faces, dates, times, and many other things engulfed her head.  
One thought surfaced above all others: Sailor Element.  Then she knew 
everything.  When she turned 15, her aunt died and she was sent to Japan.  
Someone unknown spoke to her and told her about her sister and grandfather in 
Japan.  On the trip to Japan, she could only think about the mystrious stranger 
who helped her.  He had green eyes, black hair, and an unusually pale 
complextion.  He looked like Apollo.  She felt a strange connection to him.  Nic 
has incredible mind powers.  She is telekinetic and telepathic with Apollo and 
her worriors.  In additon to mind powers, she also has elemental powers from the 
fact she's Sailor Element, although these powers can only be invoked when she is 
in that guise.

Wow, wasn't that short?  I think I spelled ado right this time.  I'm still 
working on chapter five and am totally starting over on my webpage.  It will be

from me may notice I tend to endorse myself.  Sorry 'bout that.  Apart from 
chapter 5, I am working on another special.  I don't why I call it a special.  
It's more like a story you can, but don't have to, read.  The specials don't 
need to be read in order to understand the story, though they give some 
information that isn't presented in the main storyline.  This writing thing sure 
does eat away at my time.  Hope I didn't keep too many people waiting.  Hope to 
be done with chapter 5 soon!
