Because I have received so much happy input, and requests for the wedding of Serena and Darien, I have it here in a nice shortish epilogue. Thank you for reading! Love, Luck, and Luna, Crystal Heart I don?t own the characters, but I own the story. Thank you. * denotes thoughts Eternally Yours - Epilogue By Crystal Heart Serena?s heart was going more going at an unhealthy pounding pace. *I guess it?s convenient that my husband-to-be is a doctor!* She looked out the window of her bedroom of her childhood home. It was so romantic that Darien wanted their wedding to take place in the Rose Garden of Tokyo Park! *Where we?ll be surrounded by our roses.* This morning, he had sent up a hundred red roses, and Serena was a puddle of happiness. She smiled as the sun filtered down through the window, and caught her golden hair and white filmy veil. Serena had chosen a gown of silk and satin, with golden embroidery at the edges and pretty intricate gold roses embroidered all over the skirt. Her hair was in meatballs, with pearls sprinkling each bun, and her long tails of her ponytails were looped up, and strings of small pearls were wound around them. Her face was pale white because she was feeling nervous. She did have a little bit of healthy pink though, and her eyes were shining with happiness. It was perfect. She hoped it was. She was having all kinds of fears. She didn?t even sleep the night before, didn?t eat dinner last night or breakfast this morning. She was afraid she?d throw up during the wedding. She hoped Darien was better than her right now. Last night, he seemed fine at dinner with her parents. So she knew he had to be okay. She hoped. *I hope he isn?t sick or anything like that! Or that a dog didn?t come and bite him in the ankle so that he had rabies and couldn?t come!* Thinking that she blushed, knowing now that she was really reaching. She looked down at the ground to find her black cat at her feet. ?Mixy! I?m so ridiculously nervous! I want everything to be perfect, because I love him so much! Look at me, talking to my cat and holding her when I should be worried about cat hairs on my dress! Oh, who cares? I know you?ll love Darien, Mixy. I?m just afraid that something will happen to make this stop happening.? ?Serena, you really shouldn?t worry. You love each other very much, more than you?ll ever know.? Serena felt slightly dizzy. ?Hm. I just thought my cat just talked to me,? she put Mixy down. ?It?s okay Mixy, I think it?s my own mind talking to me.? ?The name?s Luna.? Serena looked at the cat carefully and said quietly. ?Luna?? The cat meowed and nodded its head slowly, as if comprehending her. ?Well, all right, your name is now officially Luna,? Serena said faintly. *Where did I get that from?* ?Serena!? Serena rushed to the hallway and carefully down the stairs willing herself not to trip, and meeting her mother and father at the foot of the stairs. She nodded and they went to the car, where Sammy awaited them, having volunteered to drive his family to the park. As they stood at the entrance to the rose gardens, Serena smiled happily to find that today, indeed, as a GREAT day to get married. The roses were blooming everywhere, and the sun was shining. The clouds were a gentle white, and smattered occasionally in the sky. Birds were singing and everything was perfect. Serena nodded as she heard from the priest that the guests had all arrived, and the groom was waiting. She hugged her crying mother and her brother. She then looked to her father. Her eyes were all shining with tears, and her father smiled gently and touched her cheek. ?My little girl. I know you?ll be fine.? She threaded her arm in his and they heard the wedding march. Serena did not have a bridesmaid. All her friends were already married. She smiled as she caught their eyes, which were shining with pride and love. Serena smiled back, crying a little with happiness. She then turned to rest her eyes on her future husband. He was smiling, so happily, and he was so handsome and wonderful, kindness and everything that was perfect in those blue eyes. His eyes told it all. *You are perfect. This is perfect. And I love you so much!* Serena?s eyes brightened and reflected this, only she felt some tears threatening her. She then realized that she had not anticipated her crying. Her friends had all gotten married without the tears of happiness and joy she was feeling right now, and she failed to realize that she?d cry at her own wedding, though she had received plenty of warning from all her friends?. She all of a sudden didn?t even need to think. Instinctively, she reached to the side of her dress elegantly, inconspicuously, and clutched at a silky piece of cloth. She held it tightly and felt her tears ebb away. She focused on him. And he understood. She smiled and slightly shook her head. *You know me too well.* her eyes smiled to him. *Which is why I love you!* his eyes told her back. As they drew up to the front, and her father left her, she didn?t notice, but only saw Darien, who was only aware of her presence. *Please don?t let this be a dream.* *Honey, the dream has just begun.* The tears started to come to her face in her rush of happiness and he gripped her lace-gloved hands tightly, securely. The ceremony was wonderful, though Serena and Darien never heard a word of it. They were telling each other vows in their eyes, and Serena was content to say an ?I do!? when the priest looked to her. And the ring, a gold ring with roses engraved on the surface, was placed on her finger. Darien said words which she knew he?d already said in his eyes earlier, but heard them with the excitement of hearing them as if they were said for the first time. A simple gold band was placed on his. She stammered out a vow of eternal love and happiness to him, which she knew she hadn?t written weeks before, but was content with what she had said anyway. They then leaned in and kissed each other, and Serena felt relief. She was Serena Tsukino Chiba. Darien?s wife. Darien was her husband! She was thrilled. She held his hand tightly, securely, thinking of all the wonderful years that were to follow. As they got into their limo, on the way to the reception at Darien?s Chinese food place, Serena remembered that she had felt some peculiar bumps on the handkerchief that was stuffed in the pocket of her gown. As she sat in the limo, leaning on Darien?s arm, she reached into the pocket and took it out, looking at him puzzlingly at first. ?You didn?t actually see my gown before the wedding did you? I don?t think I let you, since I was so superstitious.? ?No, but your father had some strict instructions.? Serena laughed lightly, and unfolded the handkerchief. It was white, with some a pretty gold rose in the center. In the corner, there were the words, stitched in gold thread. ?Eternally Yours? The End And so, I conclude my story. I hope you liked it!
