Usagi, Vampire Slayer part 9

        Hiya everyone!  Here is part 9.  I want to thank the people who
talked to me
this
week about my story:  Terra, Vidalark, Kit Kat, and Rini-Usa Chiba.

Well here it is

        Usagi sat in he spacious living room flipping through one of Mina?s
many
fashion
magazines.  Mina entered the living room, and sat down next to Usagi.
?Guess what??
        ?What?? Usagi asked, placing the fashion magazine back on the coffee
table
with
the others.
?I am taking you and Mamoru to the grandopening of the boom boom room!?
        ?The boom boom room?   What is that??  Usagi asked.
?Its only the hottest, newest, hippest night club in town!?  Mina said,
obviously excited.
        ?So when are we going??
?Tonight.  Didn?t I say that already?  Well anyway, we are going to go
there,
and be noted
as the cream of the LA society?s crop.?
        ?What time are we going??
?Why, at 7 o?clock..........Wait!!!  Thats only two hours from now, you
gotta
go get ready!
I have to go get ready!!?  Mina wailed, pulling Usagi off the couch, and
pushing her
towards her room.  ?Go and wake up Mamoru, and then get ready!?  Mina
practically
screamed as she rushed off to her own room to get ready.

        The limo pulled up in front of the Boom boom room at 7 p.m. sharp.
The
entrance
way looked like something you would see for a Hollywood premiere.  People
that
wanted
pictures, and autographs were held back on the sides of the red carpeted
walkway by
security guards.
        The driver got out, and went around to open the door for his
passengers.
Mina
was first to get out of the limo.  Her short, pale gold mini dress seemed to
cling to her like
a lovely second skin, and made her legs look as tall as trees.  Her blond
hair
had been
styled into a half ponytail, but instead of being tied off with her usual
orange bow, it was
held by an intricately carved golden barrette.  The lights from the sign
club
made her eyes
shimmer in different colors as she moved ahead a little to make way for
Usagi.
        Usagi climbed out, with the help of the driver.  When she stood up,
her
beauty
rivaled even Mina?s.  Before getting ready, she had switched on her vampiric
senses, thus
changing her appearance.  She wore a black silk mini skirt, with 2 inch
slits
up each side,
and a midnight blue shirt with no sleeves and Chinese tooling designs done
in
light blue.
Her Silver hair had been put up into two balls on her head, with streamers
of
hair trailing
from them, with her streak of light blue mixed with the left ball.  Her
silvery blue eyes held
everyone captivated in their exotic nature, and caused everyone to gasp at
her
exotic
beauty.  A man from the crowd was captivated by her beauty, and turned to
his
friend,
saying, ?I think I just found the one I want, Ariel.?
?Well then you had better go get her,huh, Colin??  She said.  He nodded and
followed her
with his eyes until she stopped to look back at the limo.  He didn?t like
what
he saw next.
        Mamoru got out next, stepping out of the way so that the driver
could shut
the
door.  As he walked forward to take his place with Usagi, he caused all the
women in the
crowd to drool.  He wore a midnight blue suit, and a white button down
shirt,
with the
first 3 buttons undone.  His midnight black hair had been combed and brushed
until it
shone in the neon lights, and his dark, midnight blue eyes held a certain
amount of mystery
in their depths.  Ariel was majorly dumb struck at his handsomeness.  Mamoru
walked up
to Usagi, and took her smaller hand in his larger one.  Then Mina, Usagi,
and
Mamoru
walked up to the door, and were let inside.
?Well, Colin, looks like we both see something we like.  Lets go get it.?
Ariel said, and
they made there way up to the door, and were  admitted.

        Mina led them toward the table that she had reserved for the three
of them.
As
they sat down, a waiter came to take their orders, Mina wanted a coke, Usagi
wanted
grape soda, and mamoru wanted a sprite.  As he left, Mina was tapped on the
shoulder,
and asked to dance.  She agreed, so she left Usagi and Mamoru to themselves.
        Mamoru got up, and offered his hand to Usagi, silently asking for a
dance.
She
nodded, and placed her hand in his, which he brought up to his lips for a
kiss.  Smiling,
Usagi allowed herself to be led to the dancefloor.  They arrived just as

McCain came through the speaker system.  Mamoru pulled Usagi close as the
music began
to play.
?The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath
Emeralds from mountains thrust towards the sky
Never revealing their depth

I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips

 Usagi put her head on Mamoru?s shoulder, and closed her eyes, letting him
guide them.

Rain falls angry on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed

Ariel and Colin looked at them from a short distance, their rage getting
higher with every
line of the song.  ?Look at her cling to him like that, Colin.  I have to do
something, or I
will miss my chance.?
?Wait for the song to end, and then I will split them up, so that we may
have
them.?

Dress it up with the trappings of love

Mamoru reached down, and tilted Usagi?s face up to his, kissing her.  The
kiss
became so
involved that they stopped dancing all together, and just stood there
kissing.

I've dropped out, burned up, fought my way back from the dead
Tuned in, turned on, remembered the things you said

As the song ended, they slowly broke apart.  Usagi blushed slightly,and
Mamoru
smiled at
her, taking her by the hand once again.  Ariel and Colin looked at this,
ready
to kill.  Usagi
leaned up and whispered something in Mamoru?s ear, and after his nod, she
walked off.
?Looks like we just got our chance, Ariel.  Don?t waste it.?  Colin warned
as
he walked
off after Usagi.
?Oh, dont worry, Colin, I will make him mine.?  With that, Ariel walked off
after Mamoru.

        Usagi was searching through the various crowds trying to find Mina.
So far,
she
was having no luck, and was wondering if she hadn?t already gone back to the
table.  She
decided to head back towards the table to see if Mina had gone there, but as
she was
turning around, she ran smack into someone.
        ?Oh, my, I am so sorry.?  Usagi said, thoroughly embarrassed.
?It is quite all right.  I just wish it were everyday that a beautiful woman
ran into me.? He
said, in a velvety voice.  Usagi looked up at the man, and noted his
abundant
good looks.
He had blond hair, and chocolate brown eyes.  ?By the way, my name is Colin,
what?s
yours??
        ?Usagi.?  She replied.
?That?s an unusual name, its pretty though, and it suits you.? Colin said,
looking at her
hair.
        ?Thank you, Colin.?
?Where are you from anyway??
        ?I am originally from Tokyo, and I am staying with a friend of mine
while I
am
here.  That?s who I was looking for when I bumped into you.?  Usagi said,
still blushing
from embarrassment.
?Well, would you mind taking a break from the search, and granting me a
dance
with
you??
        ?Well, I really should be looking for Mina, but she is probably back
at the
table
anyway, so all right.?  Usagi said, which made Colin smile.
        ~ Geez, if I weren?t so hung up on Mamoru, I could totally fall for
Colin. ~
Colin took her arm and led her to the dance floor, where  Believe by Cher
was
playing.

        Mamoru was heading back towards the table to check if Mina had
gotten back
there or not.  As he neared the table, he saw Mina sitting there, sipping
her
coke.
?Hey there Mina.?
        ?Hey, Mamoru.  Where?s Usagi??
?Out looking for you.  She should be coming back pretty soon.?
        ?Oh, OK.  Isn?t this place so cool??
?Its  a great club, they are sure to make lots of money with this place.?
        ?Yeah, I know the owne........?  Mina trailed off as she felt a tap
on her
shoulder, it
was another offer to dance.  ?We?ll finish this later, Mamoru.?  with that,
Mina was gone
again.  ~ She sure is popular tonight. ~  Mamoru thought, chuckling
slightly.
Suddenly he
felt a tap on his shoulder, and as he turned around, he saw a very beautiful
woman.  She
had long black hair, and deep emerald green eyes.  ~ She is very beautiful,
but not like
Usako ~
?Do you want to dance??  She asked in a melodic voice.
        ?Sure.?  They walked out on to the dance floor just as Believe by
Cher was
starting.  They secured a spot on the dance floor, and began to dance just
as
the song
picked up.  Ariel and Mamoru danced to the fast paced song, moving every so
often to a
different spot on the floor, until finally, they bumped into someone.
        ?Oh, we are really sorry about..........Usagi??  Mamoru said,
startled to see
her
there.
?Hey Mamoru, this is Colin.  He asked so nicely that I couldn?t refuse his
offer of a dance.
So who is that??  Usagi asked.
        ?This is Ariel, we?ve got pretty much the same story as you two.  My
turn
next,
Usagi??
        ?You bet.?  Usagi said with a wink.  Colin frowned slightly, and
whispered in
Usagi?s ear, ?Who was that??
        ?That is my boyfriend, Mamoru.  He and Mina are the one?s I came
with.?
?Oh, OK.?  A few more minutes passed by, and the song finally ended.  Mamoru
said
goodbye to Ariel, and walked over to Usagi, taking her hand in his.
?You ready to go, Usagi?  Mina is kinda tired, and it is around 3 in the
morning.?
        ?Really?  Wow, time sure does pass quickly.  Yeah, lets go get Mina
and then
we?ll leave.?
~ I don?t think so! ~  a voice said through both of their minds.
        ~ Who are you to order me around? ~  Usagi thought back.
~ I will have you Usagi, and Mamoru is for my sister, Ariel.  You can?t
leave,
because you
belong to us. ~
        ~ Like hell we do ~  Usagi though back.
~ Then come fight me for your freedom.  If you win, We let you both go, if
not, we get
you, and you will be punished for your insolence. ~
        ~ We will win, where is the fight? ~ Mamoru thought back.
~ Go to the back parking lot.  Don?t try anything funny, because we have
your
little friend
here.  You have 4 minutes to get here. ~
        ?Come on, Mamoru, we gotta book it, they have Mina.?
?I?m right behind you, Usagi.  Lets go kick their butts.?

        They arrived in the parking lot 3 minutes later.
?Glad you could join us.? Colin said.
        ?We wouldn?t miss it for all the world.  Lets start.  What are the
rules??
?What rules, there are no........AHHHH!....?  Colin and Ariel were suddenly
blasted from
behind by an orange light.  They died almost instantly, but their cries
still
echoed
throughout the silent night.
        ?Mina!!?  Usagi cried out, rushing over to the source of the light.
?Mina,
you
realize what this means right??
?Yeah, Usagi.  My powers have finally emerged.?
        ?Are you all right Mina?  Did they hurt you?? Mamoru asked,
concerned.
?No, I am fine, I just want to go........go home.?  Mina said, and then
broke
into tears.
Usagi picked her up, and carried her out to the awaiting limo, and towards
home.

        * Usagi?s dream*
************************************************************************

        Usagi was standing in a lush forest.  Up in the trees, however, were
houses,
and
walkways, and people were walking up there, and laughing at her standing
down
on the
ground.  A woman suddenly  appeared before her, and enveloped her in a hug.
?Usagi...?
The woman said.  She had long brown hair pulled into a high ponytail.  Her
eyes were as
green as the greenest tree, and she was nearly as tall as one.
?Makoto....Why
are you in
my dream??
        ?This is my call for help.  My people are dying, because of the
Queen.  She
sends
her  vampires to get 2 or 3 of us a night, and soon we won?t be here to
save.?
?The Queen?  But she is here in LA.?
        ?Someone told you incorrectly.  She has been here for 5 days.?
?But I have only been in LA for 3 days! So you are telling me that she has
been there since
before I got here??
        ?I guess so.  Please Usagi, hurry.  I don?t know how much longer I
can keep
my
people from being killed.?  With that, she faded away, and so did everything
else.  Usagi
was left standing in a wasted section of forest.

        ?Mamoru! Wake up, Mamoru.  Tomorrow we leave for the Amazon Jungle.?
************************************************************************
