Time of Corruption by DarkPluto4 DarkPluto4@aol.com Rating: PG-13 blah blah Chapter 5- The Choice Is Made. Author's Note: Read the previous chapters. This chapter picks up where the previous chapter left off - as Pluto's debating whether to be good or evil. "So you agree?" the man was pleased. "Yes, I do," she said shortly. "When do I start? What do I need to start?" "I doubt I'll have to train you. Give me your transformation locket." He ordered. Pluto hesitated. She held on even more tightly to her staff. She could always call on the full power of her planet and her Garnet to protect her if necessary - and that did not require her transformation locket. She slowly unfastened the necklace the locket was on and passed the thin silver chain to him. He smiled. And he held it. His hands began to shine. She saw the dark misty energy flowing through it and her locket shining. Her staff began shimmering, and the Garnet Orb began darkening. The staff changed color. Instead of silver, representing the Moon Kingdom, it was now black. "Welcome, Dark Ultimate Sailor Pluto," he said, returning her locket. "Has my transformation changed? Is it still 'Pluto Universal Power!'? " she asked. "Yes, it is. Nothing has changed. Not even your old attacks. You still say 'DARK DOME TIME FREEZE!' to stop time. 'TIME BLOCK - STOP' to stop the enemies attack and 'DEATH SLICE!', your main attack. I just have a few more attacks you can use. Those are offensive. You have one defensive attack - the Time Staff Block. But that takes so much energy, and if the enemy is strong enough, they can push their attack back to you. And the Dark Dome Time Freeze is highly forbidden and also far too energy-consuming. Even though your energy is now augmented to an unbelievable extent, still, time stops are nice, but don't forget - Time must start running at some point in time. Those are momentary defense attacks, but you need a more stable one. 'DARK STAFF SHIELD BLOCKADE!' is much like Saturn's 'Silence Wall', which is the only defense attack she knows. And it works just as well, if not better. Another offensive attack I can give you is the 'ETERNAL TIME WIND STRIKE!' And now, for the best attack of all - you can trap your ENEMIES ATTACK AND DRAIN THE ENERGY. And thereby, increasing your OWN Energy. Take this," he said, handing her a small clear stone, "And say, 'SHEER STONE CONSUME!' Once it absorbs the attack, the energy will go to your locket. This stone can absorb ANY energy. Just direct it at anything and say those three words. But in a fight, your stone will automatically know to absorb the attack of the energy. Beware: it can't absorb attacks with TOO much energy fast enough so that you won't be hit by some of the attack. If Saturn were to blow up the planet she with her "Death, Reborn, Revolution" attack, I would recommend you teleport. This stone wouldn't be able to absorb so much energy so quickly. "I doubt you'll need worry about the Death, Reborn, Revolution attack. It is highly unlikely Saturn will use that attack," replied Pluto. "You never know. It is best to be prepared," answered the man. "What about my Dark Dome Time Freeze attack? Queen Serenity placed a curse over me so that if I ever use that attack, I would be so weakened I'd most likely die," said Pluto. "Your energy and power has increased to such an extent that performing that attack would just weaken you - not kill you. Still, I recommend performing other attacks rather than that one," explained the man. "What do you want me to do when I defeat the Sailors? Capture them? Kill them? What?" "Suck their energy out. Suck all the energy out of their star seeds, their crystals. Suck the energy out of every single bit of the population. Gather as much energy as you can. And when all the people and Sailors are gone, you move on to the next place in need to be conquered. You may spare one person or Sailor. One. No more than that," 'What is your name?" Pluto replied. The man was silent. "Just call me Master for now," he told her. "I take leave of you now. You have all you need. You can either start conquering the Universe now, or you may conquer your own Solar System first. Which ever you prefer," he told her. "What about Galaxia? She is the strongest of all the Sailors - and she is the true Sailor of the Universe?" Pluto told him anxiously. "Galaxia? Hah. Try out your new powers and see this time who is the winner. Remember: this is your chance at revenge," Master grinned and disappeared. Pluto glanced out the window. Dawn was approaching, and she had hardly slept. She rapidly powered down. Falling into bed, she slept more soundly than she had in years. "Puu! Wake UP, Puu!" a high-pitched voice implored her. Setsuna opened her eyes groggily. "Small Lady? Is that you?" "Puu! Are you okay?" Chibi-Usa looked at her with concern. "I'm fine. Just let me wash myself and get ready, and we can have breakfast together. Did you tell your parents you were coming?" she asked. "Yes, they said I could stay for breakfast if it wasn't too much trouble for you," replied Chibi-Usa. "Can I help you brush your hair?" "Of course," smiled Setsuna. Happily, Chibi-Usa snatched up the brush and began going through Setsuna's long, silky green hair. "Puu, where's your Time Staff that you usually hold?" Chibi-Usa asked. Setsuna froze. She did usually hold it?but she couldn't bring it out. It was black. Chibi-Usa would notice the color difference right away. "Uh, well, I was a little tired of holding it, so I sent it away," lied Setsuna glibly. "Where?" asked Chibi-Usa. "Well, do you notice how Hotaru can either keep her Glaive or let it power down away whenever she powers down?" asked Setsuna. "Yes." "Well, I can do that too. Normally, I keep it with me, but I was tired last night, and I powered it down away along with my costume," explained Setsuna. "You powered up last night? Why?" exclaimed Small Lady. "Oh, well, it was really very silly of me. I heard a noise - or rather, I thought I did, and I powered up to check it out. It was nothing but my imagination. Nothing was wrong. The Gates were fine and undisturbed," said Setsuna, chiding herself for nearly revealing that something was amiss. Chibi-Usa was satisfied with this explanation and asked no further questions. After Chibi-Usa had gone away, Setsuna sighed with relief. She couldn't squash the feelings of guilt. She was going to destroy this child and her mother. Yet, somehow, it was becoming increasingly difficult to recall those feelings of love. They were so distant and far away. She sighed. No matter what, she would not be able to destroy her own Sol Solar System. She would have to find another Galaxy to conquer. She stared out. Tomorrow. Yes. Tomorrow would be the start of it all. Tomorrow, she would make them all pay. Tomorrow, she would finally be able to start a new life that she had wanted so desperately. Author's Note: Comments? DarkPluto4@aol.com's the address.
