"Spin" by Amethyst G tuxedoame007@yahoo.com Hey hey minna! This is just a short little ditty written in Algebra class. Hehe. Happy holidays everyone, and take a little time out to spin. And please.... please! E-mail me! I love feedback more than Jadeite (and I love him a lot!)! J: HEY! Disclaimer: None of the characters used in this fiction are mine. They all belong to Naoko Tachuechi-sama, and I claim no ownership, just insanity and boredom. I'm not making any cash off of this, if I did, it would go to repay my debt to my dad. Daddy, I'll pay ya back..... someday...... << indicates thought while in third person>> <@> indicates change to first person ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<@ Spin @>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The world flashed around her as the circular motion of the wind caused her long, silky green hair to billow out around her. Her dark, chocolate coloured eyes, normally alert and open, skeptically analyizing everything and everyone around her, were now closed, casting a serene and peaceful look on her features. Her tall, svelte body, normally tense and rigid, was now carefree and loose as she spunaround in circles. Long muscular arms covered in black gloves were in outstreched in the air, palms open and facing up. Next to her black boots, a gaudy red fan lay on the ground. <> she imagined holding the worried in the air, placing them one by one in her open palms. <> <@> I remembered how my mother would tell me, when I was a small girl, "Esme-chan, if you ever feel that your worries and feelings are getting to be too much, gather all your negative feelings and thoughts into your hands and *spin*. Then they will be free." Her voice, my lovely okasan's voice, echoed through my head. I spun, feeling the emotions and worries fly out of me, away and into the warm summer air, cleasing and purifying me. I felt myself becoming free again, I felt free, I felt whole, I felt- *Snap!* A twig behind me snapped loudly and I opened my eyes and slowed my spinning to a quick stop. If Saffiru, or - God forbid- Dimando had found me, I could never live it down. My long green hair billowed down past me, surrounding my elegant features. I looked over at the tresspasser on my private moment, cheeks flaming with embarrassment. A blonde girt with a red bow stood there, smiling at me. I immediatley recognized Senshi Venus in civilian form. Her smile was, strargly enough, warm and understanding. "I never though the enemy could be so much like me." Her soft voice broke through the uncomfortable silence. "You spin too?" I asked, almost child-like and quickly shut my mouth after realizing what I'd just said. "Hai. Sometimes I feel so trapped, with my duties and all, so I come here, to the rose gardens, to spin." She blushed, and it was my turn to smile. "I know what you mean, Aino-san." I looked around, and realizing that I was indeed in a rose garden, the elegant flowers in full bloom, surrounded by the masses of green leaves. At this point, I felt the psychic summoning of my prince. "Esmeraude!" I sighed, a long and reluctant sigh. "Gomen ne, Minako-san, but I must go back.... Dimando...." I trailed off, and then smiled at her sadly. "Enjoy your freedom and youth while you have it." I inhaled on last breath of the sweet, clean Earth air, the smell of wet roses tickling my senses. I then picked up my fan and vanished, while smiling at the lone Senshi. In my mind's eye, I saw an image of a black room with rosebushes on the sides, and in the middle, me spinning, hair billowing, and a happy smile on my relaxed face. "Goodbye, my freedom." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<@ FIN @>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
