Part 11

                                *It Has Begun*
                              Search for the Light

  I'm pacing. Now, usually when I am worried I sit and cover my eyes
with my hand. But tonight it seems that my nerves are to active to be
able to sit for long. Onyx has been sitting just outside my path ever
since I began. She has made several jokes about me to try to get me to
sit down, including the ever popular "You're going to ware a hole in the
floor". No such luck yet, all I've managed is to take the wax polish
off.

  I stop and head for the consol of the computer. I push a few bottons
and look at the read out. I sigh at the screen and return to pacing
in front of Onyx. "Find anything?" asks Onyx. "No" I mutter.
To try and save my sanity, I have set Bit to search for the power of
Light. Even if the power is still asleep, its there. Bit can find it
with its censers just as it can tip off my senses. Of course, Serena's
and My senses are more tuned to it and its likely that Bit wont find
her.

  I would have started this last night if I could have. It took the
rest of the night to explain everything to Rini. Serena and I finished
telling her about the manor, what training she would do, and showing
her room upstairs. Rini asked if she could come back with Serena.
I told her that in a little while she could come with Serena when
ever she wanted to but she would have to wait til things were ready.
I told her that Serena would tell her when she could and if she
wanted to she should tell Serena that she wanted to come that night.
I then told Serena to call me on the days Rini was coming, if she didn't
I would assume that she wasn't and plan for just Serena coming.
The night had left no time to tell Serena about her Guardian test
or how we had to find Sailor Light.

  Another side trip to the computer. "Oh come on!!" I yell. I turn and
kick one of the chairs. It rolls across the floor in a spin before
it tips over and lands with a thump. "I take it you have found nothing?"
asks Onyx from the floor. "Bingo" I say. I pick one of the lab top
computers off the table and hop up on the table with my legs hanging
over. "What time is it?" I ask the air. "11:36" said Bit. I roll my eyes
and lay back on the table. I cover my eyes with a arm and sigh.
"She wouldn't even be up yet." I mutter. "Its ok Reona." say a deep voice.
That was not Onyx. I push my arm up to my forehead and I am meet with
wonderful green eyes looking down at me. Eric lends down and lightly
kisses me. When he pulls away I smile at him.

 "So have we found anything yet?" asks Eric as he sits in one of the
chairs. "No" I sigh. "I'm just going to have to wait for Serena to come."
I slid off the table and notice that both Obsidian and Eclipse are now
in the room. Eclipse seems as fidget as I am. Sailor Light is Eclipse's
charge. Onyx rubs against Obsidian as a greeting.
<I need something to do> I walk pass Onyx with a light pet on the head.
"I'll be in the studio. See ya later." The door slides open and I step into
the hall.

  The door to the Computer room slides shut behind me. I let out a long
sigh and rub the bridge of my nose. "To Fast, and to Much." I mutter
to the marble hall way. I turn and continue down the corridor to
the next door. I stop in front of it, just staring at the creak in the
middle of the sliding door. Behind me is the door to the Library and
at the end of the hall is the gym. Also at the end of the hall is a
separate corridor lit only by candles, it leads to the Mirror Room.
I shift my eyes back to the studio door and step forward.

  The door slides open easily.  The studio is brightly lit by track
lighting from the ceiling. Several interments lay to the far left of the
door, including two large Grand Pianos. In front of me is a fairly large
stage with a high tech stereo system. Mostly the stage is used for
dancing, which we all take part in, the wood is worn. To the right are
two portions of the room that are cut of my walls. These is where
Serena and Michelle/Neptune paint. They have their own space.
Michelle mostly likes to paint scenes were Serena prefers portraits,
although she was taught to paint scenes and has several.

I step into the room and head for a table just outside the door to
Serena's painting room, which is marked with a gold Crescent Moon.
(In case you haven't figured it out, personal things are marked by the
persons planet symbol) The table is littered with sketches by Serena.
Most are of the other Scouts, some of her and Darien, others are of
nature scenes. Only one is finished, her first nature scenes and painting.
Michelle had suggested that Serena make a sketch of what she wanted to
paint, like she had done when she first started. Serena had sat in the
garden for two hours and drawn a full, finished drawing of the fountain
and flowers. Than she took another four hours to paint the sketch
on a canvas. When we saw it all and was told the time it took, we said
that maybe she should do ruff sketches just so she would have a guide.
I picked up a sketch of Raye and another of Christen/Saturn, both were
unfinished and if you didn't know what you were looking at you couldn't
tell who they were.

  I placed the papers back on the table and turned away. I walked over
to the instruments, picking up a flute from its stand and I put it
to my lips, played a few notes before setting it back. Passing two
violins, Michelle's was up in her room, and three keyboards I came to
one of the Grand Pianos. I sit one the bench and start to play a light
melody of a song I had made a few days ago. I begin to hum the song and
than sing out the words. My voice is high and clear, like Serena's....

                By all the shades of Silver and Gold
                You and I will be together forever
                We will hold the night....

  I cut short as I feel the Shadow Spell fall and than rise.
"Serena" I whisper. I push back the bench and head for the door.
When I reach the Computer Room I see that Corren has joined us.
Corren is Alex's/Uranus adviser and Eclipse's love. I go to the round
table in the middle of the room and sit in one of the more
comfortable chairs. I grab my lab top computer and pull up two files.
One is labeled 'Light', the other 'Test Moon'. I turned back to the door
just as it opens.

  Serena steps into the room wearing her gold suit and cloak. The cloak
has been turned black and lays around her like wind. She takes off the
hood and smiles at all of us. Eric raises two fingers in hello and the
cats bow there heads but I remain still. "You guys wont believe all the
questions I got from Rini today. She wanted to know everything. How
she was going to learn the backflip? Than she wanted to see me do it.
I told her that there was....no..way........" She slowly stops as she
sees my face. I raise from the chair with purpose.
"She will know when she can come." I said, ending that discussion.
"What we need now is to start what I was talking about last night after
the fight with the Toris." Serena nods to me and continues with her
thoughts. "I agree. It is certain that Toris is now our main concern, and
most powerful adversary. He will come again." Serena has become more
skilled at seeing things. "Correct, Serena. But we will worry about
him when and if he comes back. I need to talk to you about the things
of last night." I said. She look at me oddly before she realized what
I was talking about. "You mean the search for Sailor Light." I nod.

  "Yes, but I also need to tell you something else." I turn to my small
computer and blow up the file called 'Test Moon'. Taking the computer,
I plug a cable into the side and in the large consol that is Bit.
The information appears on the screen. It seems to be a list of Sailor
stages and a small amount about Guardian Tests.
"Think back, Serena." I tell her. "Do you remember the stages of the
Sailor?" Her eyes narrow as she tries to remember lessons from a
thousand year ago. "I think so. Doesn't go from Sailor Scout to
Sailor Guardian. The are different part to the Scout too. For me doesn't
it go: Prism, Crystal, Cosmic, Crisis, and than Eternal. Finial the
Sailor Scout takes a um....sort of like a test to become the Sailor
Guardian."
I nod. "Exactly Serena and what I need you to do as soon as we find
Sailor Light is take that very test." Serena shifts her weight to her
other foot when I say this. "The stage you are in is a very high
Sailor Scout. I really have no idea how you can even use your staff,
you shouldn't be able to. Maybe it was just a need thing."
I shake my head to clear it. "Anyway, I do believe that you have enough
training and experience to take your Guardian test, Serena." I finish.
Serena closes her eyes and releases a long breath. "Alright, Reona. Can
you tell me anything about what I will have to do?" she asks.
I frown and bow my head. "Unfortunately I can't. Although I will tell you
a few things right when you leave that I can not tell you now, I can
say that it will test everything." Her eye brow raises. "Everything?"
she says. I keep my mouth shut and just look at her. She sighs after I
say nothing. "I see."

  "I am sorry Serena, I truly am. I wish I didn't have to leave you in
the dark about this but I really can not give you help on the test,
all I can do is teach when it comes to this." I turn back to my computer
before I can see her reaction to what I said. I pull up the other file,
titled 'Sailor Light'. This file hold information about Sailor Light
from the Silver Millennium and of today. Including her name, Alania.
But there were no last names in the Silver Millennium for royalty and
working with only the first name didn't get me very far. Also in the
file the few time that I have sensed her, like the time in the mall.
"This Serena, is all the information I have on Sailor Light."
She walks up next to me to look at the screen. "Is this all you know?"
asks a male voice that is not Eric. Both Serena and I jumped and spin
around to face the voice.

  Jonathan puts his hands up and steps away from us. "Whoa, girls its
just me." Serena sighs and I take my hand away from my dagger.
"Don't Do That!!!!" I yell at my Brother, my finger pointed right
in the middle of his face. I look at the other from the corner of my eyes
and
notice that Eric and the cats are trying not to laugh.
"And all of you shut up too!" Onyx sinks to the floor with laughter at this
point. I lunge at her but Jonathan grabs me and I end up kicking air.
I struggle for a minute before I give up and he puts me down. The others are
still laughing, you can even see Serena's shoulders shake as she tries to
hold
it in. I fold my arms across my chest. "If you are all quite finished." I
say.
Most of them manage to stop but you can still hear a snicker or two from
Eclipse and Corren.

  I snort at them and mutter "Baka" before I turn back to the computer.
"Hai, Jonathan, this is all the information I have about Sailor Light."
Serena reads the rest of the screen. "Mmmm, I too have sensed the
power of Light a few times but its always been in a public place and
I was unable to tell who it was." Serena bits her lower lip and shrugs.
I had though that Serena has sensed her before.
"It alright Serena. I don't expect you to do anything about it. But now
we need the Third Guardian Light, we have to find her. Now that Toris
has entered the game it will be harder to fight with him there, if he is.
I need to train her for her Guardian test and you need to take your
Guardian test. We also need to have the Inner Guard join us, we are
strongest when we are hole." Serena nods. I absent-mindedly reach
up to my Star Crystal that is on my silver suit. The warm
glow the comes from it calms me. I take a deep breath and turn.
"Come" I say to Serena. We walk out of the computer, leaving the others to
wait.

  At the same fast pace we walk to the end of the hall and turn down the
candle lit corridor. The door at the end is not like the other
mechanical doors that slid open, this one is large and made of wood.
I release my last breath slowly. "Alright, lets find the last
Guardian Light." I whisper. We both reach for our crystals and with
one finial look at each other call out "Star Crystal Power!!"
"Moon Crystal Power!!" The candles flare as Silver and Gold power rush
around us and the colored suits we ware disappear. The power turns and
twists with our bodies forming the sailor fuku. When the light dies I
am left in my silver and gold fuku and Sailor Moon wares her old red
and blue one. I blink my eyes to adjust to the low light. Taking
the crystals off our bows we hold them above our heads and concentrate
on our Guard, Star and Moon. A soft wind picks up in the hall.
The tiaras on our foreheads flash and are gone to reveal the insignias
of the Star and Moon. They begin to glow before a sudden burst of power
blinds the hallway. When you can see again it is not two warrior sailors
you see but two ancient princesses. Princess Reona of the Star Kingdom
and Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. Serenity's gown of soft
white silk settles around her. My gown is of a light velvet cloth, deep
pine green. The gown is an off the shoulder long sleeved dress that
comes to points on the back of my hands. It hugs the upper body and
then gently smooths out to a floor length skirt. A sash of silver silk
hangs of my right hip and trails to the him of the dress. A band of
silver is on my middle left finger and I have a silver locket on a thin
chain around my neck. Atop my head is a small jeweled tiara made of
silver and what seems to be diamonds.

  We step forward to the wooden door and it swings open. We enter a
'room' that has no walls the can be seen. A walkway of light runs to a
another larger circle of light before us. Going down the light way you
can see shadows beyond. They are not human and appear to be boxes or
cases of some sort. The door that we came through is gone. As we come
to the circle of light the path disappear from behind us. The light
circle surrounds us and we can not see anything clearly beyond the rime.
Serenity looks at me and I nod to her. I bring my hand across my shoulder
and than throw it out. The circle of light races outward and expands to
the hole of the 'room' at the command. The shadows are revealed to be
display cases holding Serenity's Prism Crystal that was her first power
and the Crescent Moon Wand. It also holds the other sailor's higher
powers and the unawakened Earth Knight's/Darien's sword.

  Above us, seemingly just floating in the air are several blank screens.
Each one would show a different part of the world to us. The rest of
Asia, Europe, the Americas, and one for Japan. One of the others shows
a picture of the Earth form orbit and there is another one for the other
planets. Two more just float around in space, one for the inner planets
and one for the outer planets. All make sure things are in order. We
focus on the one for Japan. The screen come to live to show the island
of Japan. It zooms into the city of Tokyo and than to the Jubaan
district, where she is most likely to be found.

Looking to the screen showing the area, you can see the school and the
park were we are now, completed with lake. We close our eyes and bow our
heads. The symbols on our foreheads begin to glow brightly. Gentle wind
moves our hair and we start to float just above the white ground.
We are not scared of the power we feel, to us it is as natural as
breathing in air. Believe me, by this time Serenity would be deathly
scared. But she understands the power in her and know how to control
it. We raise our heads and open our eyes. What you see is not the regular
colors but shining lights of Silver and Gold covering our eyes.
"We seek the Third Guardian Light, Sailor Light." we speak together.
Suddenly the picture begins to fly closer to the ground and racing
over the street. It goes by the entrance to the park and goes the
other way from which Serena come at night. We call for the power of
light. The screen comes to a two story house that has a wall around it.
It flies up into a open bay window on the second floor. It stops at a
ceiling view of a bed in which a girl sleeps. She looks to be just
Serena's age with reddish hair just longer than her shoulders. She rolls
over and stretches on the bed, opening her eyes to reveal a hazel color.
There is a strong sense of power coming from her. But most amazingly
is the four point light burst glowing soft white on her forehead,
the symbol of Light.

Well now we're getting places. Ok, in time Sailor Light will come,
Serena will take her Guardian Test, we will team up with the Inner
Scout and solve the awaiting problem of what will happen when they
meet the Earth Guard/ Negaverse Generals, and we will get to the Serena
and Travis being brother and sister. I know its been in the back of
your minds! I would also like to give a big THANKS to all the people
who e-mailed me asked about my story. It was you guys who got me going
again. You know who you are! I wish every one to go out and e-mail all
the author of the stories you read and tell them what you think about
their stories too.
And also I want all of you to tell me what you find good and bad about
my story. Anything you would like me to change. Do you think I should
put spaces between my dialogue? THANKS AGAIN!!!

Next time:   'I remember'  We meet Sailor Light and she regains her
memories. Also we set a time for Serena to take her Guardian Test.
