Okay now we are going to really have some plot in this chapter. I hope. First I would like to thank some people. First thanks to Artemis and Luna and Sailor Moon Romance for posting my fic. Also thanks to Travis for emailing me and to the other person who was mad at me about the whole Rei thing which I lost her email so sorry if I couldn't mention your name, but thanks for emailing me anyway. As for all the people out there who have read my story and not emailed me. Shame on you. But to make it up, please email me, how will I know if I suck or if I am doing good. So please send the comments etc. to neene96@yahoo.com. As before, Sailor Moon does not belong to me nor will it ever. Oh yeah, I would like to say thank you to Rudy for inspiring me for this story. Love ya babe.=) Destiny's Child 3 The door broke open after Jupiter's Kick nearly pulverized it. "I told you to do it gently," whispered a very annoyed Venus as they made their way into Usagi's room. "Sorry," murmered Jupiter as she tried to pick up the door as it lay across the bed and contemplate how she would fix it. The room was eerily quiet as the dust began to settle from the door. A fine layer of splinetered wood dusted most of the furniture in the room. Four pairs of eyes scanned the room only to find no trace of Usagi. A red spot on the mirror caught Mercury's vision as she made her way towards it. The mirror was shattered and a red line traveled traveled downwards from the broken center. "Mercury, have you found something," Luna asked as she padded her way towards the aqua scout. "Looks like blood, Mercury answered as she began analyzing the red line, and seems to be Usagi's." "This has to be Usagi's also," Venus added as she held up twin ponytails still wrapped up in their little scrunchies and a pair of bloodied scissors. Silence blanketed the room as each scout eyed the pair of pony tails. "Ohhh.. Usagi-chan where are you," whispered a teary Luna. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ High above, beyond the sky, the moon, the stars and into endlessness of time sat three woman. If anyone would have witnessed them, one would think that they were triplets with varying hair color. One had hair as black as Raven's wings, one as red as blood, and another as golden as the sun. They sat in a wall less room with a spindle that spun in the center. A thin string began from the vastness of time only to be captured by the expert hands of the golden headed Clotho, measured by the fiery headed Lachesis and finally cut by the dark headed Atropos. Clotho the spinner suddenly stopped pushing the pedestal and it came to a screeching halt. The remaining two stopped, only to give a questioning look to their motionless sister. It has been centuries since the spindle of destiny has stopped. Of course there was that one time, but that happend almost a millenia ago. Or was it more. None of them actually knew. Their physical bodies never left the confines of the time stream, but their spirits roamed free into the endlessness of time. Of course the job of going out into time was Clotho's, who was to suppose to be present at the birth of every living being so that she may determine the future for them. But as always, she began to miss the presence of her sisters and soon, all three traveled together. Now the three have completely stopped instead of spinning which they should be doing, as they did in the beginning of time and so they shall continue til the end of time. They were the Fates, the Moirae or Apparitioners, whatever the century chose to call them. And it has been centuries since the three have actually took the time to check on whether they even existed to the world. Not that they really cared much. But at that moment, history was not the pressing question, but more on why did Clotho stopped spinning. Lacheris was the first to speak. "Is there something wrong?" Lacheris asked, her green eyes worriedly studying her sister. Clotho did not answer, but only continued to stare into space, her unblinking bluish green eyes wide open. "Why have you stopped spinning?" demanded the dark headed Atropos. "Something has happend," Clotho began, her voice hollow, meaning that she had left her body and that she was speaking through her soul link to her sisters. "Something has shifted the lines of destiny," she finished. Suddenly the string of destiny which had laid in the hands of Lacheris and Atropos began to flicker and fade and the room rose and quickly fell causing all three to fall in different directions. Clotho suddenly found herself thrown back into her body and instinctively covered the spindle with her body in case anything may fall against it. The room continued to lurch forward and backward, when as quickly as it began, the timequake stopped. Clotho picked herself up and started to examine the spindle, after proving to herself that it was okay she looked over with concern at her two sisters. Blood spilled from the cut across Lacheris face due to the out of control spindle and Atropos had an ugly gash on her cheek. Clotho narrowed her eyes and stared at her fallen sisters. "There has been a disturbance in time," Clotho began, "the lines of destiny are shifting, we must go and find out what happend." The full moon stared at its reflection in the lake. It watch in absolute rapture as its beautiful white face shone and made the water sparkle a etheral white. The stars shining like diamonds, one by one began to veil the smiling moon making a wonderful site. Fortunate couples would have been blessed with the sight of a smiling rabbit. But all this was lost on a lone figure that sat at the edge of the small dock near the edge of the lake. Actually the person was standing up and cursing the smiling moon with its stupid smiling rabbit, which she stupidly had to be named after. Usagi sat down after she had lost her voice from screaming a litany of curses to the moon, to the kingdom that once ruled it and to the white haired ruler who had saved it. She sat at the end of the dock looking at her reflection made more clearer by the light of the cursed moon. Gone were the two ponytails that were once odongas. All that was left were the uneven piles of gold which curled uncharateristicly at her ears. Her eyes have returned to their normal color, but were more red than their characteristic mediterranean blue. Clasped in her hands was a gold star shaped locket which if one looked close enough held a picture small picture. A smiling girl with golden hair was holding a little pink haired girl while on one side was a tall and handsome dark haired man and the other a long raven haired girl. The sad melody which once marked the a promise of eternal love and devotion now played to a broken and betrayed heart. Usagi lifted her eyes to the sky and then looked down at her bloodied arm which was still holding the star locket and gave a sharp cry of pain and sorrow to the moon. Authors Notes First of, I never made up the stuff about the Fates or their names. Actually the names and what each sister did was pretty accurate as well as what they were also called. I think the names were greek. Okay, remember to send flames, comments, etc. to neene96@yahoo.com.
